My girlfriend and I had a fantastic experience at Run and Become. Ann, one of the staff members, was exceptionally knowledgeable and helped us choose the perfect pair of running trainers for my girlfriend’s birthday. She guided us through the fitting process with great care, ensuring we found the right size and explaining how to wear and break in the shoes for optimal comfort and performance.

Ann’s professionalism and attention to detail made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. Thanks to her expertise, we selected a pair of Brooks trainers that have been incredibly comfortable. My girlfriend even wore them for our first 5km run together and absolutely loved them.

She now uses them regularly for both running and walking. We’re delighted with the service we received and truly appreciate Ann’s friendly, customer-focused approach. It’s refreshing to see staff who genuinely care about helping people find the right gear for their needs.

I had seen some negative reviews but nonetheless the place was recommended to us by someone I respect so we went along with a reasonably open mind.

We were greeted very pleasantly and the ladies on the desk were very helpful. We had an appointment and were on time. The assistant who helped us came and met us promptly.

My partner is a marathon runner but has a couple of physical challenges. I explained the type and frequency of running, her needs and her challenges.

The assistant, I wished I'd asked and remembered her name, properly listened and took into account all that was said.

First she had my partner run up and down I'm her existing shoes and asked various questions which resulted in her first three recommended pairs.

These were tried and tested, and the recommendations refined.

We needed both trail and road shoes so the whole process was gone through twice.

The different factors in shoe choices were discussed and recommendations made, with reasons given and explained.

Ultimately we ended up with the shoes that seemed ideal and that my partner liked and was comfortable in.

I cannot see how they could possibly have improved the experience. Polite, courteous, friendly, helpful, recommendations explanations and successful choices.

Highly recommended..

I am so sorry I did not get the name of the assistant who served us. But she was very very good. Long hair, large black glasses. Excellent.

Really bad experience.

New shop, all aggression even testosterone, all wrong in this day and age.

Staff are rushed, probably fearing sack if they don't get the shoes sold.

Lot of other better places!!

Visited the Victoria street store for a shoe fitting with no appointment (these are difficult to get on the weekends). Took a numbered medallion from the designated spindle and sat down patiently to wait. It quickly became clear that staff were not serving customers in numerical order (the numbers they called seemed random) so I just assumed they had their own system (whatever that was). After about 45 minutes, during which multiple people who had arrived after me had already been served, I calmly asked the lady at the desk when it would be my turn. She said that there were 5 people in front of me. I asked how that could be, and explained the situation. She simply shrugged her shoulders and told me that sometimes previous customers returned their medallions incorrectly, which messed up the system. No apology. No offer to fit me in earlier. I didn’t have another 45 minutes to wait, so had to leave.

My wife and I both got new running shoes today. We were served by Mia who had excellent knowledge (and patience!). Same prices as the internet so why not have an expert fitting service? Please note they have moved recently to 3 Colonnade Wade, 123 Buckingham Palace Road.

Quick and easy delivery and everything included with package to return if it didn’t fit or I wasn’t happy. I am happy but also very likely to come back based on this experience

Been using these people for years and they remain great. You may think its eaier to buy online, but with changes in design happening so often you really need to try before you buy even if it seems to be the same design and brand. Also 10% running club discount. Whats not to love.

Genuinley great experience, an employee named Hafsa helped massively with helping me to understand my running gait and being able to run up and down the road to actually try the shoes was incredible useful. Amazing store and wonderful people!

This shop is exceptional. Such care is taken with choosing exactly the right shoe for you, and the staff are knowledgeable, professional, and caring. Very highly recommended.

I cannot recommend this shop highly enough, the staff are knowledgeable and there is a wide range of shoes but what has really blown me away is there excellent customer service and attention to detail. Huge thanks to the manager Marina who was happy to exchange my less than perfect shoes to a much more perfect fit.

First online purchase thus far, the item/order was delivered to the Victoria London store within 48 hours, so I collected it the following day and tested the shoes in-store, but decided the shoes were a bit spongy on my left foot, perhaps it was a manufacturing defect with these ON Cloudrunner 2 shoes, therefore I returned this item whilst there and received a refund immediately to my Paypal without quibble. The only disappointing thing was the cashier/sales assistant at the London Victoria store failed to recognise that another customer had pushed in-front of me in the queue and I had to wait an extra 10 minutes to be seen as both cashiers were having fairly long conversations with each customer, henceforth I have subtracted one star in this respect.

Was passing by, shop was empty. Asked for a gait analysis as advertised outside the shop. Shop assistant said it was complimentary only if I was going to buy now. Well I might have now or might have the next time but not when you make me feel unwelcomed and second class. No thanks

This place is unbelievably good. I've been a couple of times recently, buying for myself and with someone else. Each staff member who has served me has been well-informed, good at listening, attentive and incredibly diligent. (It was obvious from watching other staff in the shop that this standard is consistent.) They all deserve gold medals for customer service.
I'm no expert on trainers, but know that the shoes recommended here have been remarkably comfortable and practical. I don't run long distances and wanted trainers for a variety of uses, but they still took immense care in helping me make a choice.

I was strongly recommended to go by a family member, and would strongly recommend others to go. (I have no link with the place, and never normally write reviews, but this exceptional place deserves fulsome praise!)

My daughter had a shoe fitting today, the sales assistant was very friendly and knowledgeable, we received great service, I would highly recommend.

What a great company, bought a pair of Saucony training shoes a few months ago after the usual thorough analysis process for Run and Become. However, after very little wear the shoes developed a fault with the rear of the soles of both trainers peeling away from the sole.
I contacted Customer Service and after submitting photos of the trainers, I was asked what I would like to do. The process was amazingly efficient with Marina in customer service, resolving my problem as seamlessly as possible. I have received my new Brooks trainers as replacement. It’s this standard of support from the company that will keep me a loyal customer of the store and recommend to others in future. A huge thanks to Marina for her understanding, patience, efficiency and professionalism.

I love Run and Become. The sales people are very knowledgeable and helpful. They have plenty of shoes in my size even though I take a 7.5 or 8 in women's shoes which can be hard to find in other shops. My new shoes look great and are perfect for my running style.

Really nice and friendly atmosphere the second I stepped into the shop. A sales lady very patiently helped me find the right size New Balance trainers. I only saw genuinely friendly faces there of the sales staff.

They have an unbelievably large stock. They have all kinds of sizes and widths. They have far better stock than the New Balance Oxford Street flagship store that doesn't even carry the new models!

The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that they do not refund, only exchange.

Had a problem with a pair of brooks trainers, replaced instantly. Great customer service, will definitely buy more from here.

Price was right, delivery was quick and products (injinji socks) were as expected.

My daughter and I went to the Victoria store yesterday and were served by the delightful Laura and Michelle. They were both superb and this was by far the best trainer buying experience I have ever had, far better even than Sweatshop, where they use a treadmill for gait analysis. The staff were wonderful - friendly, courteous and knew exactly what they were doing - the Rigby and Peller of trainer fitting. There was no pushy sell, they simply found me the best fitting, most suitable trainers for my run. I will never buy my running shoes anywhere else again.
