I'm know as a Queen of Sheba amongst my friends as I know exactly what I want and do not hide my disappointment. Therefore Dominik had an extremely difficult task. However he made all my wishes come true with a smile on his face. I was not only impressed with his professional yet warm and friendly behaviour but also with an excellent knowledge of Croatian islands, amazing restaurants and a fantastic knowledge of local wines. We are so greatfull for everything he did for us. This was the best holiday ever. Thank you Dominik, until next time

We were sailing around Croatian islands for a whole week and Sini made it so special.
He is a very professional skipper and deeply knows the islands and He recommended us very nice spots which made a unique holiday for us. Most important, he is a very nice and warm person and we enjoyed very much his company.
For sure we will sail again with him!!

Early September 2018 a group of my friends and I embarked of a sailing trip on the Adriatic Sea, Croatia.
Just by luck, we happened to have had Sinisa assigned to our group as our skipper. Sinisai made our sail Croatia experience the best of all our vacations.
Sinisa was so adept at reading his clientele. He listened to our likes, our ideas of places we'd like to visit, and then he made suggestions. Sinisa’s suggestions about islands to visit, restaurants, and timing was spot on. Siniai was an experienced, confident and skilled skipper. For example, Sinisa docked our catamaran perfectly every single time. He knows the coast of Croatia extremely well.
In addition, Sinisa was sociable, had a good sense of humor, and had excellent “people” skills.
I would highly recommend anyone considering a sailing trip in Croatia to book with Sinisa. I plan to travel again to Croatia and I would only book a trip with Sinisa because I know he would ensure another amazing sailing experience.

As a family of 4, with two young boys (ages 4 & 6) we can't recommend Sails of Croatia more highly. Everything from the booking to trip was well organised. We felt very safe sailing with Siniša and had a great hostess called Natalie. Siniša found excellent places and helped my wife to sail. We will be returning next year. I would post a review on Trip Advisor but I can't find them there.

A family holiday never to be forgotten!
As a family of 5 with three children ( Ages 5/7/9), we had been looking forward to our Croatian sailing adventure for months. Being new to this type of holiday and having limited sailing experience we took the easy decision to employ a skipper , but were slightly wary of having someone share our holiday.
Our fears were quickly settled as Skipper Sinisa Bartolin , was a consummate professional and skilled seaman with incredible local knowledge.
He was never intrusive and always considerate, guiding us over a magical 7 days.
Historic towns, beautiful Islands, crystal bays swimming and paddle boarding with local produce consumed on deck or at locally chosen restaurants all piloted by our Skipper.
Sinisa became part of the family for the week and made the whole experience so special.
We have recommended Sails of Croatia and our skipper Sinisa already to many of our friends, and would do it all again tomorrow i.

We cannot thank sales of Croatia enough for the fantastic trip around the Croatian islands! Sini the skipper/captain amazing with his great knowledge of all the places we visited. Ena our hostess was an absolutely fantastic cook serving us delicious breakfasts and lunches. The whole trip was fun from start to finish!! We will be returning next year for another trip !

We recently chartered a catamaran to sail through the islands around the Split region and had an amazing holiday. Our skipper Siniša customized our itinerary perfectly to what we were looking for, bringing us to gorgeous swimming spots with crystal clear, turquoise waters, secluded coves and numerous charming seaside villages that were definitely off the beaten path. From arranging a wine tasting for us at a family-run vineyard on the island of Brač to a memorable olive oil tasting with stunning sunset views of the coast, our trip was filled with unique memories that we will treasure for years to come. Our expectations were definitely exceeded and in fact, we’re already talking about when we’re going to schedule our next sailing trip to the region with Siniša.

Starting with the quality of the boat, combined with the beautiful sailing waters of Croatia, great overnight stops, and the excellent leadership of captain Sinisa, we were blown away by this trip. We have put another "Croatia sailing trip" on our bucket list and hope to knock it off within the next 2 years. Having sailed in many other prime sailing waters around the world, the Croatia trip opened our eyes to a "Hidden Gem" that we were largely blind to prior to this first trip.

Sails of Croatia was great . We had a wonderful trip . Good food , good sailing , good weather . Croatia is amazing. We have chartered in several locations around the world and this was one of the best .

My wife and I were fortunate enough to have Siniša Bartolin, owner of sails of Croatia as our skipper for a one-week cruise. “Sini” was a gracious, capable, intuitive, well-connected and completely professional guide. He made our experience truly one to remember. His seamanship skills were immediately apparent from the second we set foot onboard. Sini handled our 39 foot catamaran confidence and ease freeing us to truly enjoy the ride knowing that we were in good hands.

As we had come without any preconceived notions, Sini crafted our itinerary on the fly. What we experienced was an insider’s look at the islands focusing on the spots less traveled and an authentic glimpse into the culture, history, cuisine and people. Tell him what you are looking for and he knows exactly where to find it. Don’t know what you are looking for, Sini will help you figure it out and take you on a true voyage of discovery.

Hire a local Croatian skipper. This is the most important single piece of advice that we can give anyone considering a Croatian sailing vacation. A foreign skipper may be every bit as good a sailor, but they simply do not have the local knowledge and connections. Sini is a local and has over a decade of professional skippering under his belt. I am sure he is among the very best. Book with Sails of Croatia, let Sini know what you are looking for, and sit back and watch your magical experience unfold. Bottom line, he is just plain good at what the does and it shows. We would sail with our friend Siniša again in a heart beat.

Our captain was very knowledgeable and catered to a perfect experience for my friend and I. We hit great ports and swimming spots, cliff jumping, and ate at amazing restaurants. I highly recommend him for the full yacht week experience. I plan to attend again next chance I get!
