Avoid Saludsa Ecuador
Title: Avoid Saludsa – Expats, This Is a Warning
Review:
I’m an expat living in Ecuador, and I strongly advise others to stay away from Saludsa. This company is quick to charge your credit card, but when it comes to actual service, communication, or transparency — they vanish.
I signed up expecting legitimate healthcare coverage. Instead, I received:
• No official contract or policy documentation
• No confirmation of activation
• No access to services
• Zero response to reimbursement requests
They kept charging me monthly, including an unexplained $177.88, even after I formally canceled the contract — which they now conveniently ignore. I’ve asked for clarity, invoices, proof of coverage, and cancellation records — no one answers.
Their staff keeps referring me to fine print and sends canned responses while avoiding the real issue: I’ve paid for a service that was never delivered.
This feels like a well-polished scam targeted at foreigners who don’t know the legal system here. If you’re an expat considering health insurance in Ecuador, do your homework and look elsewhere. There are ethical providers out there — Saludsa is not one of them.
