we ordered a full kitchen along with few appliances from Schimdt Kitchen in Barnet and had excellent experience right from consultation until fitting of the kitchen. All the representatives Samntha, Lena Hend and Slav were very co-operative throughout

We had a dressing room made, the design process was simple, the construction was easy, the staff are polite and helpful. The end product is better than I could have hoped for. Highly recommend

We purchased our new kitchen for £36,000 from Schmidt Palmers Green. Initially, we found Iria to be very helpful and attentive. However, after we paid the full amount, the level of service changed significantly.

Over the past five months, I have had to chase Iria with more than ten emails and messages (all documented) to try to get the remaining issues resolved.
1. Splashback Installation: We paid £3,500 specifically for the splashback. It was installed using the wrong colour of silicone. Only half of the stone slab was used, and we were never shown or informed about the second half.
2. Lighting Issues: The lights on the kitchen island were installed incorrectly—half were warm white (yellow), and the other half were cool white (blue). Additionally, they were not properly secured and are still hanging loosely from the units.
3. Siemens Cashback Issue: Iria had promised a £500 cashback from Siemens. Unfortunately, our claim was rejected three times due to Schmidt’s failure to provide the required proof of purchase.

The kitchen was installed in January, and now, in June, these issues remain unresolved. Last week, I issued a final notice to Schmidt, stating that if no action was taken within the week, we would proceed with a formal complaint. No response or action has been taken since.

We are extremely disappointed with the post-sale service and lack of accountability. A very frustrating experience for what should have been a premium kitchen purchase.

Excellent service as always, I have ordered a replacement washing machine after 4 years of use and they provided a new like for like one at over 20% less than market price within 3 days .

I am writing to express how disappointed I am in your service. I ordered a cabinet, stating the depth should match the existing one so I can keep the carpet. Turns out upon delivery, the cabinets were built to be 62cm deep even though the initial measurement was 68cm. The store manager refused to offer any compensation and claimed they did not breach the contract, when in fact the depth of the cabinet was never stated in the presentation materials shared to us. The store manager even made it up that we told the salesperson we would change the carpet in that room. This accusation and irresponsibility for your mistakes are unacceptable. I thought that Schmidt was a brand that delivers quality products and satisfactory service, but I am deeply disappointed by my experience.

We recently had the pleasure of working with Schmidt Kitchens for the installation of our new kitchen, and the experience was nothing short of fantastic. Clara, our project manager, deserves special praise for her exceptional patience and expertise.

Throughout the process, we had to deal with the challenges of the lockdown, which led to us making significant changes to our initial plans. Clara was incredibly patient and accommodating, even when we had to start almost from scratch.

We walked into Schmidt Barnet looking for inspiration after a disappointing experience over a six month period with a high end kitchen provider. Apart from spiralling costs, we felt we did not have a coherent kitchen plan. Things could not have been more different at Schmidt Kitchens in Barnet. The first person we met was Clara, who left her lunchbreak to tell us about Schmidt kitchens. She drew up some initial plans which grabbed our attention and within an hour, we realised this was not only the right designer, but the right branch/company to work with.
Clara, who we later found out was an architect designer, created different kitchen layouts and we were able to influence the design and work with her to create an open style kitchen with plenty of storage which was suited to our space. Within a week, we had the basis of a great design – modelled in 3D and we made a number of small tweaks based on Clara’s suggestions and advice which gave the kitchen wow factor. Not only is she a fantastic, creative designer but she is practical so we have ended up with a kitchen that not only looks great but is really functional and geared to our lifestyle.
While Clara took us through the entire process, Bob the owner/manager and the other designers were always at hand and willing to offer advice if Clara was not available. Nothing was ever too much trouble and we were always made to feel welcome, often calling in to check out samples or match the kitchen with the right flooring etc.
Lena coordinated the kitchen delivery and the fitters schedules and her organisation and communication was excellent. The delivery of the kitchen was on time and everything went smoothly. There were a couple of minor snagging issues after fitting but these were dealt with quickly and efficiently by the fitters Bhavis and Conor.
Staff bent over backwards to ensure we ended up with the kitchen we wanted, stressing we had to be entirely happy with the finished product. We also got good discounts on appliances.
The only thing I would suggest to Schmidt is that they create more colours to choose from, particularly pastel shades and maybe make the choices between materials and finishes in their brochure a bit clearer. We were fortunate to have such good advice so this was not a major issue.
Overall, the team made what could have been a stressful experience a relatively stress free one! Five stars from us!

Clara took our detailed brief fully on board and listened to all our requests with care and attention. She gave us great advise on selections, excellent options and the outcome has been incredible - better than we could have envisioned
I would not hesitate to use them again and would recommend to others. We love our kitchen dining space and are very proud of what we achieved. It's a constant pleasure to be in the space cooking and entertaining. The space works so well and the units are excellent. The fitters were incredible also. Cannot fault the service.

We had our kitchen supplied and fitted through barnet Schmidt. It took long and we faced some issues. However, Bob helped us through. He is honest, professional and reasonable.

It's 5 years since we bought our very extensive kitchen from Schmidt Barnet and I've just realised that I hadn't placed a review on this particular site. The fact that I'm doing so five years later is testament to the great service we had from day one and the continued service received from the very delightful and helpful designer/saleswoman Dovile Jakaityte. Being in sales myself I recognise when the person you are dealing with goes that extra mile to make your experience great. Schmidt Barnet and Dovile are great people to deal with. Full of ideas and a great quality product should give you the confidence to spend your hard earned money with these guys. Any issue we had was dealt with swiftly and with a smile and the after service/install has been second to none. My wife caters from home so we needed extensive storage, hard wearing units and a very practical layout. Dovile and Schmidt delivered on all three and beyond.

Small tip...having base level drawers instead of cupboards might be more expensive but they are so practical and easy to access they are worth every penny.

Mahsa was our designer from start to end. She is experienced and was always pleasant, helpful and efficient.
The kitchen was completed to our great satisfaction and the design is stunning. In fact, it is a real showpiece. Thank you very much to Mahsa and all the staff of Schmidt’s Barnet, who were always available to attend to our concerns we may have had.

From our very first visit to the showroom in Barnet Clara has been absolutely amazing. She has designed us the most beautiful and practical kitchen and held our hand through every part of the journey to the final fitting and beyond!

Schmidt Hampstead Garden suburb. Firstly, they make you pay upfront. Don't do it. Once you have, service will plummet. Our kitchen was meant to take 3 days to install. Because of faulty ordering, missing pieces, unavailable people etc, it will be a minimum of 8 weeks late - we're just living in a tip. They promise the world and deliver nothing. Avoid.

UPDATE 1:
In response to the response below, it’s not a great sign when you get better attention on Trustpilot that you do bilaterally. As with other reviews here, Schmidt Barnet is way too quick to defend themselves online and way too slow to apologise, respond and deal with the problem in the first place. This is not how high quality service operators manage their reputations.

UPDATE 2:
As of 30/6, we still don't have a finished kitchen. And we are being told it's still more than 2 weeks away (and that's if Schmidt do what they say they will, which they haven't yet to date) so we still won't have a kitchen nearly 2 months late

UPDATE 3:
Ultimately the kitchen was done and to a high standard. The after care from Savva has been good. Shame about the delay but the end result is good

Schmidt Kitchens - Hampstead Garden Showroom

Horribly disappointed. Ours is a new build and we are eligible to claim back VAT. The company charged us VAT and are now not providing us a VAT Invoice. Not only that, they are not answering our emails and recorded delivery letters. Even Schmidt France is ignoring our emails. We were quoted £1,900 including VAT for installation and £3,350 including VAT for worktop. At the time of installation, they requested for £1,900 to be paid in cash.

DESIGN FAULT:
The Hampstead/Barnet showroom designed our kitchen without due care. Units on two walls did not match. Our American style fridge/freezer and microwave oven units are so close that they they cannot be opened properly. The designer failed to ensure that the extractor is suitable for our use in terms of space and installation. The unit under the gas was crudely cut and expected us to accept it. We made a fuss when a somewhat good finishing was done. Though it is not the finish one should be expected to accept after spending £25K.
Before starting installation due care was not taken to ensure plumbing, gas and electricals were in order.
Due to the fact that they had messed up the installation, we were offered free of charge correction to the utilities only to go back on their word on gas connection.
Our agreement was to supply a modern (WiFi) appliance but even after 9 months we were supplied a different model without our consent and taking payment before supply.
Last but not the least our agreement is breached by not signing off the kitchen supply and installation.

In the autumn of 2022 Mahsa was responsible for planning and arranging the installation of a new kitchen.Her preparations were thorough and she explained clearly all the various options suitable for the type of flat in question. Since I was frequently away from London at the time she put herself out above and beyond what was expected in liaising carefully and continuously with the team of workers responsible for emptying the old appliances, plastering, painting, tiling and re-routing some of the pipework. Mahsa was always efficient, dedicated to getting things right, polite and helpful. Last but not least she rapidly followed up a maintenance query after the work had been completed.Alan

We have just had our stunning kitchen designed by Savva. It is for sure the highlight of our house and makes our living area unique. Savva was so professional right from start to finish. He was on hand and willing to help us throughout our housing project - not only did he design our kitchen, but he also advised us with the colour scheme for our walls and tiles,furniture etc.

The main reason for us choosing to go with Savva was that he was able to produce a design that no one else could - he was the best designer of the five kitchen companies we looked at. We had several meetings before confirming we wanted to go with him and he was patient and did not rush us at all, once kitchen was ordered Saava personally came to measure the kitchen and did several visits to make sure everything was perfect.

After sales was excellent! Lena was always prompt to reply and Conor was always on hand to adhere to additional requests, whilst taking great care not to damage anything else in the 🏡 house.

We would thoroughly recommend using Savva and Schmidt Kitchens in Barnet.

We ordered our kitchen in September. Mahsa was the one who designed the kitchen for us. She is exceptionally talented. She understood our needs and displayed the drawings efficiently and professionally. Units arrived in December. We had some difficulties with delivery, and parts of the unit arrived damaged as our fridge. We have received exceptional after-care from the owner Bob, who truly cares for his customers and has been accommodating. Lena has been helpful with ongoing administrative support and keeping us in the loop about the replacement units. After all this, one item was missing, and we had to wait additional 3 weeks; they offered to give us a fitter since this would compromise our Builders' time and availability. It's not been easy, but this has been a positive experience, and even with the challenges, we have received excellent after-care and customer support from the Schmidt team. They genuinely care about their customer service and have earned another loyal customer.

I recommend them highly to anyone.

Right from the planning of the kitchen to installation and aftercare we are happy to have received excellent service . Clara was very knowledgeable and helped up with designing and choosing the kitchen . She was very accommodating with our suggestions worked with us to conceptualise what we wanted .
We were kept updated regarding installation at appropriate time . Also we’re very quick in responding and sorting minor issues post installation.
