We recently sold our property with Sell My Home. Our local partner Rosalind was excellent. She took time to understand our situation, and had a good understanding of the local market. The buyers who were introduced to us were a great match - both parties had no chain, so the sale proceeded quickly and without problems. Rosalind was available and pro-active throughout the process to help and liaise between the parties.

I was kept informed all throughout the process each time. It was not ab easy sale as twice prospective buyers pulled out at the last minute. So pleased now to have completed the sale.
The care and support from Rosalind Levy was exemplary.
I am pleased that I chose Sell My Home they were efficient and good value for money.

I chose Sell My Home because they showed the most interest during the pre instruction period. Little did I know at the time that they priced my home to win the instruction and it is now very clear the agents assigned to my property had very little understanding of the local market!
The agents were all talk and no action and definitely succeeded in pulling the wool over my eyes.
The property initially went on the market at £700k and only generated a few viewings.
The agents recommended price reductions as their mechanism to generate interest before passing the property over to IamSold who suggested marketing the property with opening bids at £450k on their online auction but never received a single bid!
Overall Sell My Home had my property on their books for over a year and it cost me over £22k in mortgage payments.
This was a very bad experience and I missed out on buying 2 properties along the way due to having unachievable expectations set.

I never had much faith in estate agents.... then I met Wes Collins and he changed all that. From the moment I contacted him about a property he was selling, right through to him selling our own home, his expertise, support and dedication was superb. There was no overselling or ego boosting, just well researched information and years of experience.

After several bad experiences with estate agents in the past, both buying and selling properties, Wes and Sell My Home made the purchase of a property much easier than I thought possible.

My previous experience has always been that estate agents tell you what you want to hear or are even outright dishonest (to the point of telling us that the conveyancers were wrong and they were right), as all they care about is getting the sale to go through and doing as little as possible.

Wes, on the other hand, was very communicative, very helpful, and completely upfront about everything.
His knowledge and expertise, as well as his close communication with other parties such as the seller’s solicitor and my own, helped ensure a quick and easy purchase, and resolutions to a couple of issues picked up in the survey.

After moving in, Wes has still remained very helpful in providing numbers for recommended tradesmen and professionals, communication with the seller when information was needed etc.
Wes is not only a true professional but a genuinely nice guy who is clearly passionate about his job and ensuring his clients are happy.

Although I never had a contract with Scott Cave I had dealings with him whilst purchasing a property through Sell My Home. Whilst buying and selling my home I found Scott more helpful and amenable then everyone else in the chain put together. An absolute treasure to work with and a great asset to the company. Excellent communication from Rosalind and was always available to take phone calls for queries when purchasing the property. Very helpful local knowledge of key contacts for necessary appraisals/reports. Made the viewing process really relaxed, allowing you to get a good insight into the property.

We went on the site which quoted a figure and chose Sellmyhome's Essential Package which was 0.5%. For our property- which was valued at 200k - that equated to £1000 in fees.
Somehow they managed to double the quote to 2k because the price of the property was not high enough. Outrageous! There is nothing on the site that we could find that states this.
I could understand if they said a few hundred quid extra as I appreciate they will make less on a lower priced property - but double!!!
Wasted more time getting the house the market and very annoyed on what appears to be misleading website details.

Rosalind has been fantasic throughout. The level of communcation we received from Rosalind throughout the sale from start to completion was great. Nothing was too much trouble,constantly in contact with all other partie's agents and solicitors to make the experience go as smoothly as it possiblly couild.
We cannot reccomend Rosalind highly enough and would not hesitate to contact Rosalind if we needed to in the future

We purchased a property from Sell My Home and received more support from their representative Rosalind Levy than we did our own.
