You are absolutely right in your observation. At this stage, Sikaty is still growing, and some specialised categories such as PLC, microcontrollers, FPGA, and industrial automation are not yet as developed as on more established platforms. This is something we are actively working on.

We would like to clarify that Sikaty does not collect or store sensitive financial information such as PayPal or card login credentials. All payments and payouts on our platform are handled securely through trusted third-party providers:

•⁠ ⁠PayPal: When users choose PayPal, they are redirected to PayPal’s secure environment to log in and authorise the transaction. Sikaty does not have access to login details or private account information.
•⁠ ⁠Stripe: Card payments are processed via Stripe, which is a globally recognised and PCI-compliant payment processor. All card details are encrypted and handled directly by Stripe, not stored on our platform.

Regarding the “verified” status you mentioned, we understand how this may have caused confusion. This label is intended to indicate that a payout method has been added successfully, not to imply verification by PayPal itself. That said, we appreciate your feedback and will review this to ensure clearer communication and avoid any misunderstanding.

Your concerns about security are important to us, and we are continuously improving the platform to meet high standards of transparency and trust.

Thank you for sharing your experience we truly understand your frustration, and we’re sorry to hear that you haven’t received clients yet.

You’re absolutely right that platforms like Fiverr and Upwork currently have a larger buyer base, as they’ve been established for many years. Sikaty is still growing, and right now our main focus is building both sides of the marketplace bringing in not just sellers, but also more active buyers.

That said, we are actively investing in marketing and advertising to increase buyer traffic on the platform. Growth takes time, but our goal is to create a fair and sustainable environment where sellers can gain visibility and keep more of what they earn.

In the meantime, we recommend:

- Optimising your gig (clear title, strong description, competitive pricing)
- Adding multiple gigs to increase visibility
- Staying active on the platform
