I genuinely never thought I’d be writing a review like this. Like many others, I booked Singh Captures because of the amazing reviews and the portfolio I saw online. I was so excited and trusted that I had made the right decision.

Sadly, as more negative reviews started to appear and I began hearing concerning feedback from people in the wedding industry, I completely lost confidence in my booking. It was an incredibly stressful decision to make, but I felt I had no choice but to cancel.

What has upset me the most is what happened afterwards. I reached out politely to request a refund of my deposit, but I’ve been completely ignored. My emails have gone unanswered, I haven’t been able to speak to the owner, and I’ve even been blocked on social media. Being treated this way as a genuine customer has been incredibly disappointing and honestly left me feeling helpless.

Looking back, I’m relieved I didn’t go ahead with the booking. Since then, I’ve spoken to several makeup artists who advised me to be cautious based on their own experiences and concerns. I also came across allegations that images from other photographers had been reposted, which only reinforced my decision to walk away.

This has been a really upsetting experience from start to finish. More than the money, it’s the complete lack of communication and professionalism that has left such a negative impression. I hope no other couple has to go through the same stress and uncertainty that I did.

I paid Harry (owner of Singh Captures) to do the photography and videography for my wedding in September 2024. We had signed a contract, I had paid him in full for the amount he asked for. I even got him the gig to do photography and videography for 2 of my friends weddings that same year.
He came to my wedding, done everything we discussed, took all the pictures and videos as agreed in the contract. However, he sent the pictures after 1 year and 2 months to me and STILL to this date has not sent me the videos. I have called him over 50 times, emailed over 20 times - my poor parents have literally begged him over email to send us the videos of my wedding day and he ignores each and everyone one of us. We have paid him our hard earned money (several thousands of pounds) and he has only delivered the pictures, literally half what was in the contract.
Very very upset at Hari, I wish he could own up like a man and tell us why he hasn’t send us the wedding videos. Cannot be more upset with him and now taking legal action with my friend who also did not get her wedding videos either.

Our wedding took place at the end of August 2024. In the lead-up, we were told that Hari would make the process easy for us, properly organise our photos, and deliver everything by December 2024 / January 2025 via Teams/FaceTime calls. We were also explicitly assured that none of our wedding photos would be used or promoted on social media.

Unfortunately, our experience did not reflect what was promised.

Between December 2024 and February 2025, we were dealing with a very difficult family situation, as our eldest brother was diagnosed with leukaemia. During this time, we urgently requested photos for him and the wider family. Sadly, our messages were largely ignored, and our brother passed away in mid-February.

From that point onwards, communication and delivery remained consistently problematic.

1. Severe delays in delivery

We were told everything would be completed by January 2025. In reality, we did not receive any meaningful delivery until August 2025. High-resolution photos were only received around October/November 2025. The entire process continued for over a year after the wedding, despite multiple promised deadlines.

2. Poor organisation of images

The photos were repeatedly sent in a disorganised manner.

* Initial Dropbox delivery contained lower-resolution images with no clear structure.
* High-resolution images sent via USB were also poorly organised and not correctly labelled or separated into events.

Even allowing for digital delivery, there was no clear effort to structure the galleries in a logical way, resulting in mixed-up content (e.g. evening reception images mixed with unrelated early morning shots).

3. Serious data handling concerns

The USB provided also contained other clients’ wedding and event images/videos. When this was raised, we were simply told there was “no data breach”.

Regardless of intent, this raises serious concerns about how securely client data is handled and stored.

4. Missed deadlines and failure to deliver as agreed

Promised completion was January 2025. Final delivery was only completed between August and November 2025, after repeated delays and missed commitments.

We also requested a refund in line with the contract terms, which state this may be granted at discretion. This was not honoured. Given the circumstances, this was extremely disappointing.

Final note

In hindsight, we should have ensured all expectations were clearly agreed in writing before making payment.

We hope this feedback is helpful to others considering booking, as clear timelines, proper organisation, secure handling of client media, and accountability are essential for something as important as a wedding.
