Some issues with online customer service
I bought two Reginox kitchen taps for the two sinks in my kitchen in May 2025 and one started leaking from the tap housing a couple of weeks ago. I used the website online form to ask for help in getting this sorted via the Reginox warranty but got no response. After a few days I repeated the request using the Sinks-Taps.com contact email address but still no reply. I next added to the email after looking at the Reginox website and finding that the warranty required customers to raise via the business they had bought the tap from (no direct customer contact accepted by Reginox). At this point I am now stuck for a way forward and very disappointed with the lack of customer support which I didn't expect from an apparently well rated company.
After placing this review, which I had hoped would finally prompt a response, you are now saying I never placed an order with them. If you check, order #10020990 shows the details of my order under the customer account corresponding to my email address and this is not the first order I have placed with you. No, I didn't ring you about this matter but why have website forms and email addresses if you don't respond to them?

Following changes to Sinks-Taps.com reply from what they originally wrote.
1. My original rating of 1 star was unfair so I've modified that, the original order was handled well and I have no issues about that
2. You are missing the point that online messaging is important to many customers and you are not delivering on this
3. I did send 2 emails to the email listed on your website and I'm not happy that you deny this. You haven't even mentioned the website online form which I used.
4. I'm not inclined to pick up the phone to a private unlisted number and your voicemail just told me you had rung a number of times and to ring back. No overtures about have a faulty product and wanting to sort anything out.
5. On reflection, I don't see any point in pursuing the leaking tap through warranty as I can't really have no tap in place for the weeks it would probably take Reginox to sort this, even assuming they honoured the warranty.
6. I hope you can see my points about communication and that you find the review is fairer now

Blame the Customer Policy!
On 03/09/2025 I placed an online order totalling £485.20. Said order included Reginox RL501 1.5 bowl ceramic sink at £219.08 and 2 Abode AX1136 antique brass basket strainer wastes at £39.00 each.
Shortly after ordering - and before the sink came into stock - 1 amended the sink to Reginox RL504 CW11 single bowl ceramic kitchen sink right hand drainer (there was the option of left or right hand drainer or a no tap hole option for this sink on their website, all with different item codes and different prices). Since this was a single bowl sink, I cancelled one of the Abode AX1137 basket strainer wastes and was advised refund would be forthcoming. Despite numerous communications to their Customer Service Department, this still has not yet occurred after 7 weeks and nor will they provode explanation for this.
When advised all the items were in stock, I collected the order in person from their Pocklington branch on 11/09/2025, to avoid risk of transit damage.
On finding the sink was too big, I notified via telephone of intended return on 24/09/2025 and the sink was returned in person to their Pocklington branch on that date, so was within the statutory 14 days return period for online orders (as defined in the Consumer Contract Regulations 2013). Upon its return, the sink was rigorously checked by 2 staff members, the return accepted, and a signed and dated returns confirmation issued. What follows highlights the total lack of regard this company holds for both customers and consumer law:
Despite being issued with a signed and dated returns document, refund was not forthcoming. When emailed to query why not, they claimed the return had not been agreed nor any returns number issued. I provided them with copy of the signed and dated returns document, which does indeed contain a returns authorisation number. Their subsequent response has been to withhold full refund, now claiming a 25% re-stocking fee is applicable as this sink was a 'special order'. I absolutely refute this claim, since options of left or right-side drainer were clearly listed on their website - of which I have screenshots - and nowhere on their website detail for this item did it state that these options rendered it a 'special order' as it would entail them personally 'knocking out' a tap hole (as they have only now advised, post return), nor was this stated on my receipt, or at any time previously.
Despite extensive communications from myself, dated 24/09/2025; 01/1/2025; 06/1/2025 and 07/10/2025 requesting full refund for the returned sink and waste (a total of £258.08), they have finally made refund of just £164.31, a shortfall of £93.77.
I hold screenshots of their website page for this sink and it simply provides different purchase options. Nowhere does it states the sink tap hole will be 'knocked out' manually by themselves, making it a modified item. Had they advertised the right hand drainer sink as a 'modified' or 'special order' item, I would have been able to make an informed choice at time of purchase, yet they failed to make that distinction until after the item was returned and are now imposing financial penalty for their marketing omission. On now reading reviews of this company, it seems very evident that this company don't ever accept responsibility for any problem issue or situation, clearly preferring to always blame the customer.
Had they made full refund I would happily have ordered an alternative sink from them, but their unethical tactics and refusal to comply with their obligations as an online seller under the Consumer Contract Regulations (2013) has alerted me to their self-serving principles. I would go so far as to say they are online bullies, who see themselves as unaccountable, even when the evidence shows otherwise.
I would suggest their marketing team should revisit and revise their website description for this item and make it clear that sink drainer orientations are not standard options (as currently portrayed), but are manual tap hole adaptions carried out by themselves which render this a 'special order' item. Transparency is essential to informed choice and it is unethical, unfair and unreasonable to impose financial penalty on customers for their own marketing errors and/or omissions.
No doubt their response to this factual review will be entirely self-serving.
I will most definitely not deal with this company again and would advise others to think twice. Once they've got your money, they will do their utmost not to refund. I intend pursuing them for the refund shortfall.

We ordered a tap from Sinks-taps.com, we were then told the tap had arrived with them damaged and that the new tap would take the best part of a month to arrive. No tap arrived. When chased I was told that that tap ordered had been discontinued and that Sinks-taps would source an alternative. No alternative was ever sourced. I emailed back asking for a refund, no response. I phoned up asking for a refund and was told the order had been cancelled and refund processed but would take 5 working days to go back to our account. No refund arrived. I chased again for a refund with no response. Shockingly bad customer service. I know the reviews seem to be positive but I wouldn't touch these guys with a barge pole. Still awaiting a refund 2 months after ordering a tap.

3 way Kitchen tap
We chose this 3 way (hot, cold and filtered) tap because it looked good and worked at normal household pressures unlike some others which need a booster pump to get a decent flow. Delivery was quick and the fitter said it was a pleasure to work with. It is now installed and we are very pleased with it.
