Second time and even better
It is the second time we have used Sleeps12 for a family event totalling 27 people on each occasion.
The recommended property was fantastic, the additional extras suggested , clay pigeon shooting and a Chef and staff to come in and cook for us turned out to be superb events

Lovely house for the 10 of us x Grandkids loved the swim spa and the air hockey/ table tennis table was a hit too x They loved the owners little dog joining in a game of footy and even scoring a goal !!!very clean and everything provided x comfy beds and free standing baths a winner x Owners were very friendly and helpful x

We had a wonderful stay at whimbrels- everything we needed was on hand and the set up was perfect for our 3 families - with individual houses for some down time and night-times and the main barn for our big family time- breakfast lunch and dinner - cards, table tennis and birthday celebrations!! The hot tub, air hockey and trampoline were a fantastic addition keeping all the children ( and adults) entertained -

A fantastic weekend
A fantastic weekend to celebrate our golden anniversary with all the children and grandchildren. An amazing accommodation with lots of space and things to do. The swimming pool was used throughout the day and the sauna two.
Excellent communication at all times, a terrific weekend…

Kennard Hall August 2025
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kennard Hall in August 2025. There were 24 of us in our extended family. Ages ranged from1 to 70 years of age
The kitchen had every utensil we needed and plenty of cutlery ,plates, dessert bowls etc. (perhaps just slightly larger bowls for the adults would be helpful,)
The bathrooms were all great as were the bedrooms.
The pool was a great hit with the children and the hot tub with the adults.
The owners were very helpful. It was very hot one of the days , so we asked for some shade around the pool, they delivered this quickly, which was much appreciated.
sleeps 12 were helpful and professional, answering any queries we had.
My only small moan was that the deposit was a little slow in being returned ( but it was returned in full). I do appreciate that the bank holiday did not help with this.
I would recommend both the house and sleeps 12.( can I just however note that having the name sleeps 12 at the top of the description of a house that actually sleeps 20 plus was initially a little confusing.)

Great week with family in this beautiful farm house. Dressed throughout to a hotel standard . Very clean. Games room and library well received also the massive front room and kitchen well equipped … pool jewel in the crown

Superb family accommodation
The accommodation was excellent. The host,Sean, was superb. Nothing was too much trouble. Booking was easy with Sleeps 12 and communication was very good, keeping us updated.

Family holiday
The spa pool and hot tub are amazing. And wow that pantry what a fabulous idea, kept all of our goodies cool. Plenty of bathrooms to accommodate all of those bedrooms. Washing machine and tumble drier very much welcome after the days in the pool. We only ventured out to the beach once, everything was on hand, why move when you have all of this land for the children to play and the hot tub for the adults
Emma, the housekeeper was so welcoming, leaving tea, coffee sugar, milk and cake for our arrival. Popping back to check the pools over a couple of times, keeping us safe. The cottage was very clean and had so much crockery and cutlery, and a dishwasher to save the washing up. You wouldn't have known there were 16 of us there (paid for an extra 2 guests and 2 babies) we easily fitted into the rooms.

Plenty of choice for larger groups
I have booked with Sleeps12 several times now & always found the ideal property. Due to our multi generational group we tend to look for a bit of everything. This includes indoor pool, hot tub, indoor games tables & most importantly a big outdoor space for the children to run off their energy. We have already chosen again for 2026 & have another place in mind for 2027. I have contacted Sleeps12 on a number of occasions by email & phone & they have always responded positively & promptly.
