I wish I could give more stars!!!
I’ve only had my new crutch a few days and I love it. I have MS so need a crutch to help with my walking and balance every day. As soon as I tried my new crutch it was like heaven! I walked with better posture, my palm didn’t hurt and I didn’t feel like I was holding onto the crutch for dear life! Just to confirm it was actually the smart crutch that made this massive difference I tried my old arm crutch again…NEVER again!! it was horrible and no wonder I felt wiped out it actually makes everything harder! I would never of believed this could have such a positive impact on me and even though it’s heavier than a standard crutch I find that actually works in favour of it because it makes me feel more secure. 100% worth every penny. I was about to buy a crutch from a different company that makes pretty crutches that are actually more expensive just because I use them every day I wanted something that didn’t announce I was coming with that click click sound and looked nice. Thank God I found your site before I bought them! I’d of been doing a massive injustice to myself. Yours not only look good, they feel good, soft and quite and actually help me. The only fault (which is my fault) I didn’t order the inserts for the armrest thinking I wouldn’t need them but I do so have ordered them. Just wanted to say a massive thank you 🙂

I have recently bought a pair of smartcrutches. I am a long term crutches user with progressive spinal disease and was finding crutches painful to use on my wrists hands and shoulders so decided to invest in these after searching the best crutches for my particular condition. Very expensive but my health was worth it. I am a petite build and needed the smaller size and was really disappointed to be told my preferred colours were not available and that they will only be selling black once all colours had sold. I must say that customer service were excellent in my dithering of colour of choice...red, black or blue. Non of these would have been my choice but I could not find any other stockist for these. I decided on red. I have been using the crutches for a couple of weeks and can say they are helping with the pain and easing the tension in my shoulders. I feel secure on them and they take my whole body weight if required. They are more bulky than other crutches and difficult to prop up if out . My main disappointment though is the colour of the red and the overall plastic cuff. Although well designed I would have expected them to be a better quality and the red is dull and boring not vibrant. I wish I had stuck to the black. My husband say they remind him of a children's toy and I do agree that they do seem like the quality of what a robocop toy would feel like. So,Although they are a decent mobility aid I am disappointed in the plastic parts. I think I would have felt different with the colour of my choice which would be any except the ones I had.

The crutch itself is absolutely amazing. I love how you can adjust the arm rest to your own required setting, which has helped take the added pressure off my back that I was experiencing with my walking stick.

The crutch itself is a very good comfortable walking aid I like the design and the Ergonomics the the crutches, However the design of the pivot point and the flimsy bolt that hold the whole thing together is terrible.

I bought them for my first ankle surgery as I knew I was going to be on them for some months, at first they were ok but started slipping so re-tightening was required, Eventually the thread rounded off completely rendering the crutches useless.

My right ankle has now just had the same surgery as the left so I thought I may see if Smart Crutch sell spares, I was happy to see that they sold replacement bolts with a plastic tightening handle but also a little amused that as they sell them they must know there is an issue with this part of the crutch.

I bought a replacement bolt (sold in a pack of 2) and got them all sorted before surgery.

Unfortunately both bolts which were purchased failed on consecutive and I will not be purchasing anymore as these are the crutches Achilles heel as I have found out, Shame as the product itself is pretty good.

Looks like I am going to have to find an alternative set of crutches from a competitor.

I purchased this product for my daughter before Christmas. The product itself was not suitable.

The company stated their returns policy was 14 days to return the item - they made no allowances for their office being closed or the holiday period.

To make sure I met this window I posted the item back. They have two addresses - an office and a warehouse address. This was not clear.

Only after I posted the item to the wrong address did i receive an email saying their office is closed and therefore they would extend the return period. Also they notified that the office address does not accept returns. In this email they extended the returns period but not sufficiently considering I had to wait for the courier to return the item back to me and then pay it back to them once more.

Because this process of posting it TWICE to them, at a cost of over £25, it arrived a few days after their deadline. They are now charging a restocking fee.

I generally like to support small business. Avoid this one. Their product is not unique. We were able to find a better product at lower cost. Look around and avoid this company.

Not only that, they take an unusually long time to issue refunds.

Very expensive. Good product as I have one already.. Unfortunately they use DHL who are completely useless and don’t bother delivering and make excuses. Not received the product!!

After many years of not quite misuse, my crunches, were not wrapped in cotton wool, they were used as they have been designed for. The hand bits were showing their age and needed replacing. Having contacted SmartCrutch who advised me what I needed. After ordering them they were delivered within 5 days and fitted in 30 minutes. Brilliant service Thank you.

I wanted delivery to an address other than my home address - either a courier's local drop-off point or Royal Mail delivery office would be fine. SmartCRUTCH has subcontracted its deliveries at arm's length - an arm so long that they were incapable of arranging my preference because they didn't know who would be doing the delivery. I had a circular argument with an increasingly fractious staff member. Flexibility on delivery ain't exactly rocket science!

In fairness, my refund according to their terms and conditions was reasonably prompt.

Got my smart crutch years ago and send for the odd parts when needed. Fantastic company and send things out asap

Great product for a reasonable price, good quality too. Instructions for ordering were easy to follow and reassuringly comprehensive. Delivery was quicker than expected and the items were well packaged.

I bought two smart crutches in the pink, I am so disappointed and cannot use them, the black padding in the pink arm rest part has marked my clothing with a black residue that will not wash out, I also find them bulky and heavy for my weak muscles. They cost me nearly £200 and I can’t use them as they mark sleeves of clothing. I have contacted the company I bought them from to ask for a refund, I do not think I will get one. I had taken pictures of the damage to my clothing but there is no option to upload.

Today my pink Smart-crutches came. I absolutely love them. Very easy to adjust. I became unwell two years ago. Recently I've learnt all my symptoms and conditions are due to a hypermobility condition called EDS. Because of the hypermobility my joints dislocate and I have found walking extremely painful and difficult at times. The crutches instantly straightened out my back and it felt like I had a third leg to take the pressure off my two! I have comfortably used them all day. I'm hoping they'll now assist me with correcting my posture which will allow me to become stronger and more independent. Using them today has made me realise just how much I needed them. Thank you very much.

My smart crutches are a godsend. They are light and The pain I once suffered because of the weight of gutter crutches has been alleviated.
I am 4’10” and these crutches are easily adjusted to any height.

I would recommend these crutches to everyone

Much better than any other crutch I had. All the wrist pain has been eliminated. A must have.

I needed advice regarding my broken crutch and after a message being sent to Emergency not only did I get the information I needed but the very next day I got the parts I needed.
If all companies acted like this there would be no bad companies in the world. Jason was an inspiration to us all. Thank You for you advice and prompt service.
