Somerset Early Scans Reviews 

I was made to feel really comfortable by two lovely specialists at my scan.
We went for a 4D scan but my baby just wasn't playing the game! However, I didn't feel rushed, several attempts to get a successful scan were made and even though we were unable to get a 4D scan we did get some 2D pictures (which are still so lovely to have!!)

The only downside was it was an early appointment and the clinic wasn't officially open yet, and I didn't realise we could access the waiting room though the Elm Hayes surgery entrance! Although I probably missed a very obvious sign!

Definitely recommend this clinic for any private pregnancy scans :)

Not usually one to review but we had such a good experience I feel it’s warranted.
Appointment ran on time. Very professional, considerate and friendly service. Made us instantly feel comfortable. Showed us we are having a little boy(!) and did a few checks which put our minds at ease. Highly recommend.

We booked an early reassurance scan after experiencing a previous miscarriage. Booking was really straight forward with a good choice of appointment times and dates available.
The team were really friendly, talking to us to understand our background and reasons for wanting the scan. When having the scan, they were really thorough, checking our pregnancy was proceeding well and also checking me to ensure everything looked well with both me and baby. Lots of information and detail was given so we could understand what we were seeing.
The scan was followed by a report and we could take photos and a video to take home with us.
It was a really positive experience for us, by a really friendly, professional and understanding team. Could not recommend highly enough.

Such a relief to go and have a women’s health scan done privately. Couldn’t face going back to doctors to start this process via NHS. Paid £150 I think it was and got in within a week (they did have next day appointments but I couldn’t make them). Was seen on time by a lovely lady called Amy, with a chaperone. They were kind and put me at ease. Results given straight away so left feeling much less worried.

I went for an early scan at the Bath practice, and had the most wonderful experience.

This is my first pregnancy, and was my first scan (9 weeks). I was incredibly nervous having had friends receive bad news at this point in their pregnancies, but the staff were understanding and reassuring at every point in the scan.

I have no hesitations to recommend this practice, and would like to thank Victoria and Bridget for being so supportive.

We went for a 4D scan at 32 weeks and unfortunately our little one didn't want to be seen, but Amy was amazing and patient with us. So happy with everything, well worth it.

Highly recommend the early scans in Bridgwater, it’s the second visit I have had and honestly couldn’t be more at ease. They are super friendly, approachable and take so much care and time making you feel comfortable and explaining everything they see on the scan, wouldn’t go anywhere else!

We’d previously been to Somerset Early Scans with our first baby in 2021 and again, this month. It’s such a lovely little personal clinic. The staff are second to none. So kind, discreet and jolly. Really able to put you at ease! We were fortunate enough to see healthy babies on both occasions and able to share the gender of our babies with family and friends. Thank you for your 10/10 service team. You’re all fantastic!! Have and will continue to recommend to friends and family ❤️

Such a lovely experience and really helped put my mind to rest. We were given so much time in the scan room and everything was explained thoroughly. It didn’t seem rushed and we felt like they really cared.
I have been to other places and I would highly recommend Somerset early scans.

We are even going to go back for our gender scan.

I've been to Somerset Early Scans in Bridgwater twice now. First time at reassurance scan in week 6 of pregnancy and later for my 4D scan. Despite baby being very uncooperative, both ladies present during scans were very pleasant and offered us an alternative day to come and try again for better pictures. They took their time and didn't rush us at all, explained everything they were doing. I'm very happy with the service.

Had a scan at the Bath (Paulton) site early today and cannot recommend them enough. I've had a challenging pregnancy and the team were so kind and welcoming. Victoria scanning managed to get some really amazing images of my little one on the 3D/4D scan. So pleased I booked this, really great experience.

Brilliant experience at our scan at 17 weeks when we found out the gender of our baby. Lovely, warm and welcoming team and it was such a great experience from start to finish. Cannot recommend enough and will be back for another in the next few weeks.

I was worried about my pregnancy and was so pleased I was able to book a scan for the next day - having to wait a few days doesn’t help. Booking process was very simple and no paperwork or anything when I was there. One thing that could have been improved would be getting a booking confirmation with the time and date - obviously I could remember it but it’s useful to double check I’ve got it right! The guidance around arrival is also slightly confusing - wait in the car until they come and get you/wave you in, though it did work out fine in the end. Staff were very helpful and knowledgeable and I found the whole experience positive and very reassuring. Get to take photos home too which is nice. Would go again.
