Somerset Early Scans Reviews 

I couldn't have hoped for a better experience at Somerset Early Scans. After a devastating loss in April, my husband and I were extremely anxious going into the early scan, but Victoria and Bridget were so reassuring and let us know the moment they saw a heartbeat. We cried tears of relief and you could feel that they were both happy and relieved for us! Having encountered some pretty inhumane and careless attitudes from medical professionals around our loss, we were so grateful for such personal and sensitive treatment. I know that had the news been bad, they would have treated us with care and dignity.

Obviously we can't know what will happen from here, but we'll always treasure the little video we have of the heartbeat no matter what!

If you're able to afford a private scan and would like some reassurance before 12 weeks, I can't recommend Somerset Early Scans enough.

This is our second time coming back to Somerset Early Scans. We’ve come back because we feel so comfortable with the experience. We felt we could ask anything, we weren’t rushed in any way and this time we were able to bring our little toddler with us. They were so good with him and just made the whole experience so personal. We have used somerset early scans a few times now and always so happy with the service. We bought our 2 year old son to our last scan and they even gave him a box of toys to play with. Would recommend them to anyone

Very kind and thoughtful ladies that carry out the scans and support the sonographer.

I was incredibly anxious going for an early scan following a previous chemical pregnancy. The staff were so kind and understanding with me and were really reassuring. It was a really positive experience. We would definitely go back for additional scans.

The team were very kind and took time to explain everything to me properly. I sadly didn't have the outcome I was hoping for but they couldn't have been nicer/more professional and I felt in very safe hands. Thank you to you all.

Lovely staff and very sensitive informed experience

The best experience! And so handy it was on a Sunday. Really lovely.

The nurses were lovely, very sweet in a difficult situation. However the outcome of our visit weren’t forwarded to our nhs hospital as agreed with lead to me having to have difficult conversations. I also think receiving a feedback request following a very sad and sensitive appointment is inappropriate

Compared to other private scan locations, Somerset Early Scans stands out as the most professional one. I have experienced other scan centres where they try to sell unnecessary products and encourage you to take photos for social media. Somerset Early Scans, however, provides a simple and genuine scan experience. Friendly and caring staff.

Just absolutely lovely service, could not have been a more special moment. Victoria and Bridget explained everything and were incredibly reassuring. Print outs in a folder was also a lovely touch!

The staff were lovely from the lady on reception to the two ladies who welcomed us in.
The only thing I’d suggest would be to send a confirmation letter with a map of the location also containing the date and time of appointment as the email confirmation only gave the date I’d put the holding payment. I also emailed for more information but not all of my questions were answered.

The ladies scanning me were so lovely! They calmed me down and didn't think I was silly at all. They spent time going through everything with me, made sure I was happy with everything etc. They could not have done more. Went in an absolute mess and came out so content and happy.

Everyone was lovely and made me feel really comfortable. My scan was thorough and overall I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Was able to get a health scan so much sooner than an NHS referral and it was 100% worth it. Very professional and informative staff, took their time with me and calmed my concerns.

Both myself and my husband were super anxious after a long fertility journey with multiple losses. We put at ease instantly and the sonographer showed us everything they could see and assured us everything looked fine and they would have told us any concerns. I would recommend to anyone

From the minute we arrived, I was made to feel very welcome, and was asked if I wanted to see the scan on the screen as it was done.
Sadly I got the news that no one wants, however Debbie was so supportive and compassionate. She spoke through all of my 'what to do now options'
