Southdublinauction Reviews

Very bad customer service and bad director of the company look like raciest who doesn’t listen to genuine customers request

Brilliant variety of cool stuff , presented well with good descriptions. Very friendly and professional staff ,( especially jimmy McCaul, who is a real gentleman!). Probably the best auction in the country, and richly deserving of its growing reputation. Top marks 👏👏👏

Friendly and helpful staff. Always happy to go extra mile to make experience easy.
Never any hassle with orders

i bought some vinyl records online easylive bidding platform - i won them for £24 so was looking forwards to receiving them one was signed by the artist, when i enquired about packing & shipping to uk my messages got completely ignored i must have messaged 8-9 times not one reply so in the end i gave up - totally ignorant i would not recommend them - do not waste your time bidding with them online if you win them to cheap they will just ignore you

REPLY TO THEIR RESPONSE:
SORRY BUT I NEVER RECEIVED A REPLY AND I DID NOT PAY INVOICE BECAUSE I WAS WAITING FOR SHIPPING TO BE ADDED WHICH I CLEARLY STATED IN MY MESSAGES TO YOU - NOT ONCE DID I RECEIVE A REPLY NOR AN UPDATED INVOICE - BUT YOU CAN REPLY TO THIS REVIEW ALRIGHT THOUGH!

I use South Dublin Auction mostly for Christmas Birthday and other items for present. The lads and the ladies are great .

I have bought and sold with SDA for years, very happy indeed, getting better and better!

South Dublin Auctions brings to all
a weekly supply of interesting and exciting items. Whether you are a purchaser or seller they do their utmost for the client. This is a very busy auction house processing thousands of items weekly. The staff are friendly and very efficient in the office and on the auction house floor. I have dealt with the company for many years and highly recommend them. Best of luck and wishing you all continued success. Michael

I’ve been buying here for years now and have found some incredible pieces here. The lads are very sound and helpful, and I’ve just had a consistently decent experience wit them even when there have been minor issues. Thanks to Lee, Rob and Dan who always make it a good experience, which isn’t easy with such a volume of stuff coming in and out of the place.

Great service as always, very satisfied.

I’ve been buying from South Dublin Auction regularly for quite a while now and I’ve had a very positive experience overall. There are always interesting items coming up for auction and if you take your time to browse properly, you can find some real hidden gems at very good prices.

The collection process has always been smooth for me, staff are helpful, and the descriptions are generally fair. Of course with auctions you need to know what you’re bidding on, but that’s part of the fun. I especially like the variety — from household items and decor to collectibles and unique pieces.

Definitely recommended for anyone who enjoys auctions, reselling, collecting, or simply hunting for bargains. You never know what treasure you’ll find next.

Easy to deal with. Good selection of lots at affordable prices. Reliable. Staff very friendly. Service is good.

Excellent weekly Auction. Some great bargains to be had . Definitely recommend.

Great services from office and management team!

I love SDA...I find them so helpful and easy to deal with..Im amazed that they are so able to manage the high volume of good quality goods on a weekly basis..the staff are so knowledgeable and I have learned so much...and got some great finds in the process...

Great experiences with South Dublin Auction, both buying and selling items. Brilliant mix of items to choose from too.
Staff are very friendly, efficient and always helpful.
Have recommended the auction house to several people.

Very friendly staff, very helpful. Nice auctioneer!

We’ve had the pleasure of working with South Dublin Auction over the last few years, selling items on behalf of Anam Croí Charity Shop, and the experience has always been excellent.

They run an incredibly busy operation, with a huge volume of items going through each week, but the care and attention they give to each piece really stands out. Items are very well presented, with clear, detailed descriptions, which makes a real difference in achieving strong results.

Ross and the team are always a pleasure to deal with. Professional, responsive and genuinely supportive of the work we do as a charity. Their support has helped us raise valuable funds for our services for older people in the community.

We would highly recommend South Dublin Auction and look forward to continuing to work with them.

I am sick of AI photos on every lot, show only photos as is without blemishes removed and enhanced backgrounds.

Terrible customer service on site. Rude and unhelpful
