Both the website and app are very slow and unresponsive most of the time. Also the voucher system simply doesn't work. I followed the guide on creating an account using the same email the voucher was sent to, added a payment card and confirmed my email. I then dined at one of the restaurants on their list (The Cinnamon Club in London), paid with the same payment card and I never received a redemption/refund email. I tried raising a dispute in the app, provided all the details but when you press "submit" nothing happens, had to raise a support ticket via the website (#136740).

Personally I wouldn't recommend this service at all. It feels like they purposely make the voucher redemption process complicated or unreliable.

Excellent value, staff and location. You won’t find any better value restaurant in the area, plus the location and view is second to none! Our 3 course set lunch menu was £20.95 each and, while the portions were a little on the small side, proved very tasty! The staff were lovely! :)

From the starters to the desserts, everything was excellent. It's easy to see why so many people rate this as one of the best Indian restaurants in Leeds.

Voucher system is not straight forward. You can't use your voucher on the day as you have to pay for your entire meal and then claim back your voucher via the square meal app....way too complicated. Keep it simple!! Ptherwise, great food and great service ar Red Dog. Team were super helpful and friendly. They helped with our food order as there's so much choice on the menu! The smoked dishes tasted amazing. Only negative is our food arrived luke warm even though the restaurant was quite with a handful of guests dining.

Fantastic food and service. Quality ingredients used, beautifully cooked and very reasonably priced too. Would advise booking a table if you want to dine in as the queue can be a long one...it's a very popular place!

A truly wonderful addition to Islington dining. Gazpacho with crevettes, a perfect, intense summer dish, a tender rump steak with the best frites in London and a glorious Eton mess. Summer joy, with some extraordinarily interestIng art on display. An absolute gem

Awful service, was forced by my wife to use this. Spent time that I will never get back trying to redeem voucher in a confusing manner. Stay away from these charlatans .

Absolutely awful. I received a voucher last year as a gift and cannot find anywhere to spend and when I do there is no availability. Do not buy this as a gift - I appreciate the gesture but have not been able to spend. Feels like a bit of a scam

I was given a Square Meal voucher for Christmas, which I genuinely cannot spend. Despite Square Meals' claims, there is no list on the website of restaurants that accept vouchers, and no way to search that way on their site. For some reason they have an enormous list of pretty much every restaurant in London which makes it seem like they all accept the vouchers, and then you book a table and it turns out that they don't accept them at all, or you can only get a seat in their bar, but not in the full restaurant. If I could find a URL of a page which features restaurants which actually accept the vouchers, I would just book and go. What an incredibly frustrating and annoying gift to receive from someone who was trying to be generous. If anyone knows a restaurant that accepts these damn vouchers in North or central London that's worth going to please do let me know. I'd love to spend the hundred quid.
