Stable Vehicle Contracts Reviews 

I had a very poor experience with Stable Vehicle Contracts (part of Swansway Garages). I signed an order for a VW Caddy PHEV in April 2025, which included a £5,000 Government Plug-in Van Grant.
Despite the grant remaining active for over 250 days after I signed my order, the firm failed to ensure the vehicle was registered on the OZEV portal. Because of this administrative delay, the grant was eventually withdrawn by the government in January 2026.
Rather than taking responsibility for the 8-month window they had to secure the funding, the firm informed me I would have to pay the £5,000 difference myself or they would cancel the order. When I challenged this, they ultimately cancelled the vehicle.
I found them to be reactive rather than proactive; I often had to chase for updates on an order they had held for nearly a year. Their "Information Notice" explicitly states they are members of the BVRLA, yet when I attempted to escalate my complaint, the BVRLA initially informed me they were not members (though it appears they may be covered under their parent company, Swansway).I am now left without the vehicle I spent 10 months waiting for, and because the government grant has now ended for everyone, I cannot replace the deal elsewhere.
In my opinion, this was a failure of professional diligence. If you are looking for a broker, I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere.

I was offered a van. Brilliant rate, then the build slot stories started, claiming there is delays, which is fine, I have a van. But after chasing it a month later they have ghosted me and no longer answer my enquiries. I secured the order in may. It is now October and I have arranged a new vehicle direct with a dealer.

If Paul Kelly is an example of how the company deals with people on social media, I wouldn't touch them with barge pole. Make a comment and get referred to as 'stupid'. Perhaps Paul Kelly would benefit from some people skills training.

After weeks of our Managing Director (LP AIR CONDITIONING LTD) searching for a new truck to replace a company owned vehicle, he ended up talking to Jack at Stable and was promptly provided quotes for leasing vehicles.
After further emails between myself and Jack, in order to confirm details of vehicle, we decided to proceed.
Having a visual disability, Jack had the patience of a saint, when I had to complete the finance documents, as there were a flurry of email from myself asking for help!
Jack made the experience extremely easy, and stress free.
All in all it took just 8 days: from day 1 when we received a quote, and by day 8 we had the new vehicle in hand.

Stable have provided lease cars to both our companies for the last 5 years and with no issues and a great service from Lee.

Contacted a number of brokers to arrange our business lease. Stable were by far the most efficient, helpful and professional. Still waiting for one of their competitors to get back to us even though we picked the car up on Wednesday!

Awful company haven’t even had documents through to sign at my address. They are hitting me with a 500 plus vat cancellation fee you can run and jump. Avoid this company for anything people they are rude as well as soon as any cancellation is made somewhat aggressive and threatening in their emails. The cancellation fee is so much more than the initial processing fee doesn’t make sense to me.

Great customer service and best pricing on Audi's out there.
