Very pleased with the service I received.
I used the phone app to contact the comany and I did find it a bit awkward, but am not over confident with a mobile phone.
The technician arrived within about 40 minutes and was very thorough and very pleasant.
Very happy with the service.

Very easy to report a motoring incident and Start Rescue responded very swiftly sending out help with one hour and a half. They rang at intervals during the wait time to check I was alright and providing support. I have not called them out that often but each time they have been so quick and efficient and most importantly the person who spoke with me was friendly and very easy to talk to.

I have been with Start Rescue for a number of years. They are the best around as far as I'm concerned. My latest breakdown, I was on my own on a very busy road which was scary. They had recovery with me within 20mins.

Bad to GOOD
Our car broke down not far from civilisation, but it still took over five hours for help to arrive despite multiple calls. My elderly wife and I were left stranded in a dark lay-by and quite upset.
Sometime after I complained and moved on, so I was surprised when Start Rescue followed up. The five stars are for how they handled it. They took real responsibility, which is rare. I’d use them again.

Rescued by Start Rescue
Been with Start Rescue for a long time but fortunately I’m haven’t had to use their service until recently. Then twice in a matter of days. The 2nd mechanic was patient and efficient and knowledgeable and had the problem fixed and a new battery fitted and I haven’t thankfully had a problem since.

I renued a month ago with two vehicles. I sold one and when I told them they couldn’t remove it from the policy or give me even a small refund

On most occasions it is due to the age of the vehicle going into the next age bracket. We're sorry to learn that you were unable to benefit from a refund. As outlined in our policy terms and conditions, no refund is available outside the 14-day cooling off period. We do offer the option to change the vehicle on cover to another eligible vehicle registered at the same address. If this is of benefit to you then please don’t hesitate to contact us.

A reliable service
Start Rescue attended my broken down vehicle at night and assessed that it was not a roadside repair. They then recovered the vehicle to my home. The whole experience was pleasant.

TOP CLASS SERVICE…
When my car suffered a major breakdown which my local garage was unable to fix, it needed to go to a specialist garage several miles away. I had to call Start Rescue on three separate occasions within a six week period before it was finally fixed. Start Rescue responded immediately and at no time did I experience any problems with their call handlers or their Rescue and Recovery service. I have just renewed my policy and my premiums have only increased by £4 for my Silver Policy. I wouldn’t dream of giving my business to anybody else.

Excellent customer service
Excellent customer service, polite and friendly. I didn't have to wait too long before being rescued. The rescue driver was efficient, chatty and polite. I then received a call back from customer service to check all was ok. Very impressed.
