I have purchased several bales from Syed over the last few years and it's always been an ok experience . I've received very good items and I've also received not so good which is to be expected with the nature of the business. Recently I purchased a large order imported from america, and there was a high percentage not as advertised and when I contacted syed they were professional & understanding and resolved the issues without complaint. I intend to use them again because they are willing to work with their customers and not fob them off with excuses like many I've experienced over the years.

Finding a decent wholesale Company in the UK is harder than I feel some traders think.
I've used Syed Vintage, for a few years now, and am more than satisfied with the service, pricing and communication.
There's no fluffy wording, the site is easy to manage and the images are clear.
Keep up the good standards Syed Vintage, it's a revolving door this trade and you're always 'on point' with styles.

À fuir absolument si vous voulez faire du resell. Articles vendus pour du grade A alors qu’ils sont grade B voir C….pas sérieux. Après une commande de 360€ pour des vestes style carhartt, réception du colis 2 mois après, articles troués et tachés. Le SAV m’a renvoyé un lot en guise de dédommagement mais il n’était guère en meilleur état. PLUS JAMAIS

Actualizo mi reseña anterior: el paquete finalmente llegó, pero con un retraso excesivo. Debido a la demora, tuve que proceder con la devolución, la cual fue gestionada correctamente.
Lo único positivo de toda la experiencia es la atención al cliente, que fue 10/10.
Dicho esto, deberían revisar y mejorar urgentemente sus métodos de envío, ya que este tipo de retrasos afecta seriamente la experiencia del cliente.

Dopo un problema iniziale, risolto in modo professionale
All’inizio ho avuto un’esperienza negativa con un ordine che non corrispondeva alla descrizione (quantità e qualità non conformi). La comunicazione è stata lunga e non semplice, ma alla fine l’azienda si è resa disponibile a risolvere la situazione.
Dopo il reso e il rimborso, mi è stato inviato anche un ulteriore pacco di felpe premium come gesto commerciale per compensare l’accaduto, e questa volta la qualità era conforme a quanto descritto.
Meritano 5 stelle perché Apprezzo il fatto che, nonostante le difficoltà iniziali, abbiano voluto rimediare in modo concreto.
Per questo motivo aggiorno la mia recensione in positivo.
Preciso che sono in quest’ambito da 20 anni e so bene che Nel commercio di abbigliamento usato possono capitare errori, ma ciò che conta è come vengono gestiti, e in questo caso alla fine hanno dimostrato serietà nel trovare una soluzione. Complimenti

Très mauvaise expérience – description trompeuse
J’ai commandé un ballot de 45kg, intitulé “mélange d’articles vintage de qualité supérieure”, annoncé avec au moins 70 % de grade A, pour un montant de 380 €.
Après plus d’un mois et demi de RETARD, j’ai finalement reçu le colis… et le contenu est très loin de la description.
– Présence de beaucoup de contrefaçons
– De nombreux articles clairement grade B ou C
– Plusieurs vêtements qui n’ont rien à voir avec du vintage
– Seulement 4-5 pièces correctes, le reste étant invendable ou sans intérêt (sur 45kg !)
Le rapport qualité/prix est catastrophique, surtout au vu du prix payé et du délai de livraison. La description est, selon moi, trompeuse par rapport à la réalité du contenu.
Je déconseille fortement si vous cherchez du vrai vintage de qualité ou si vous comptez revendre les articles.
Très déçu de cette expérience, à fuir !

False Advertising, Huge Loss – Avoid This Company
I ordered what was advertised as a “Super Cream Unsorted Untouched USA 400kg Golden Branded Bale” costing almost £3,000. The description promised “majority branded”, grade A premium USA vintage, including Nike, Carhartt, Patagonia, The North Face, Polo, Adidas, Tommy Hilfiger, etc. It was advertised as unsorted, untouched, “cream” stock implying genuine high-value vintage.
What arrived was nothing like advertised.
The bales delivered were labelled “Premium Mix Vintage 40kg” a completely different product and grade. The contents were overwhelmingly low-value, bulk-store rejects: Columbia, Jack Wolfskin (a German brand, not American), generic fleece, unbranded items, fake pieces, cheap modern garments, and even Christmas jumpers from Asda. Only a handful of branded pieces, far from the “majority branded” claim. This was not “cream,” not “majority branded,” not USA-focused, and not grade A.
We estimated the resale value at ~£1,400, less than half of what we paid.
When I contacted the seller, the contradictions were astonishing. They insisted the bales were “unsorted and untouched,” yet in writing they confirmed:
“We asked our supplier about the brands, he told our team that he sent mixed branded items with Polo and Tommy.”
“The supplier has a list of the items he added to this bale.”
You cannot have a “list of items he added” and call the bale unsorted and untouched. That is misrepresentation.
Instead of acknowledging the issue, they initially hid behind a “non-returnable, non-refundable” policy. For anyone reading: under UK law (Consumer Rights Act 2015), sellers cannot refuse a refund when goods are not as described. A “no refunds” disclaimer does not override legislation.
Only after significant pressure and quoting consumer law did they finally agree to accept the return. Even then, the burden was placed entirely on me, repacking 400kg, sourcing pallets, wrapping the load, and filming proof. At every stage, their communication was defensive and dismissive instead of professional and solution-focused.
This purchase cost me:
• £3,000 tied up for weeks
• ~£1,400+ lost projected value
• Days of lost work
• Transport, materials, time and labour
• Significant stress and disruption
This wasn’t a case of a few bad pieces. The entire shipment fundamentally did not match the description: wrong grade, wrong mix, wrong quality, wrong branding focus. Bales from genuine reputable suppliers do not look like this.
If you run a resale business especially reselling vintage you rely on trust, transparency, and consistency from suppliers. This experience severely disrupted my operations and nearly derailed my inventory plan.
Misleading advertising, products not as described, contradictory communication, refusal to honour consumer rights until pushed, and extremely poor customer service. This experience has cost me time, money, motivation, and confidence in wholesale vintage suppliers.
I strongly advise others to avoid this company and source from reputable suppliers. My hope in leaving this review is to prevent another reseller, especially a small business, from going through the same expensive, exhausting and demoralising ordeal.
If you value your money and business, stay away.

Je ne commanderais plus chez eux
Je ne commanderais plus chez eux, la qualité c'est extremement degarder, commande de 2000€, plus de 6 mois pour etre livrer en totalite et je n'ai pas tout reçu, un lot qui n'arrive pas, il me demande un échange, je leur propose un echange avec un autre lot 10€ plus cher mais il refuse au vue de la difference de prix et me propose un lot 50€ moins cher que celui commander. Meme un petit geste ne le font pas. Du coup rien ne me convient je demande le rembourse du lot, il accepte "exceptionnellent", de me rembourser. Bref une quarantaine de mail, du temps, un investissement perdu. Syed n'est plus serieux.

Having.been emails syed as below and currently will gladly remove once refund is recieved.

Best Wholesaler
So overall 100% a 5 stars been ordering from here for around 7 months or so I always click and collect so I am not waiting ages and usually ready quite fast
I have had the odd bale where it isn't the best but that's expected when your ordering from wholesale but recently over the past 2 month I've had top quality items. I've tried probably every wholesale there is and by far Syed Vintage is the best wholesaler in my opinion should definitely be rated 5 stars on here

Not what you expect
Honest review: Don't expect to make much profit with these clothes. I thought about setting up a second-hand clothing business, but with the clothes I got from Syed, I'm not going to make any profit. Many unknown brands and unusual sizes. In addition, the reworked clothes are made from (partly) new fabrics and the logos are FAKE, as is the case with the Carhartt reworked/stock lot jackets, trousers and hats. This is a disgrace for a company that seems to promote sustainability.

J’ai fait deux achats chez Syed Vintage :
La première fois, j’ai reçu des jeans Carhartt faux. L’information figurait dans l’annonce, mais de façon très subtile, ce qui prête à confusion, mais on peut dire que c’est en quelque sorte ma faute. Ils ont néanmoins accepté un remboursement total. Cette garantie en cas de problème m’a motivé à passer une deuxième commande.
Pour ma seconde commande j’ai acheté 40 jeans Levi’s neufs à un prix avantageux et j’étais très fier de cette affaire. Malheureusement j’en ai reçu que 29 mais Syed ont étés réactifs et ont compris mon problème rapidement et m’ont remboursé les 11 manquants ainsi qu’une partie des frais de livraison.
Quant aux jeans reçus, leur qualité était bonne, il était dit que c’était des restes d’usines, mais ce n’était pas précisé que les étiquettes d’origine étaient coupées, peut être que cela avait un lien, bref j’aurai aimé plus d’informations. Mais ce détail n’a pas été un gros problème pour moi.
Toutefois, les délais ont été extrêmement longs : commande début juin, réception échelonnée entre début août et fin août, alors que la livraison était annoncée pour début juillet.
En résumé, mon expérience avec Syed Vintage s’est bien terminée. Je conseille juste de bien vérifier les annonces et leurs descriptions avant de passer commande. Leur support client est excellent, avec garanties de retour. Mais pas 5 étoiles à cause de la première commande, des jeans manquants et de la livraison interminable.
PS : Après ma commande, Syed Vintage m’a proposé un bon d’achat de 25 € en échange d’un avis positif. Il se peut qu’ils sollicitent ce genre de pratique auprès de l’ensemble de leurs clients, ce qui est trompeur. En tout cas mon avis est totalement indépendant.

I had one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a company. I waited four long months for my order, yet they never delivered 20 of the T-shirts I paid for. After this unacceptable delay, I decided to return part of the order in the hope of at least recovering some of my money. Unfortunately, once they received the return, all communication suddenly stopped.
As a result, I have now lost over four months of waiting, €350, and the 20 missing T-shirts that were never shipped. The lack of professionalism, transparency, and responsibility is shocking. Instead of solving the issue, they completely ignored my attempts to reach them, leaving me with financial loss and wasted time.
In my opinion, this company operates in a highly dishonest way, and I would strongly warn others against doing business with them. Based on my experience, they are the biggest scammers in this industry

I ordered a “mixed lot” of two types of items. i was not happy with the proportion of each items in the bale, after some exchanges with the customer service we agreed on a partial refund, the issue is fully resolved.
