TestCrackers GMAT & GRE Prep Reviews 47

I've tried many prep classes out there, but none have improved my score as dramatically as TestCrackers. Before taking the course with Anisa, I was at a complete standstill in my verbal score. At that point, I had already taken classes from the big test prep companies (i ain't a snitch but u know who u r!!!) and was unsure if i'd ever reach my target score. I found TestCrackers by chance online and the great reviews convinced me to to give it a shot.

Any hesitation/reservations that I had were completely wiped away upon the first class. The class size was small and intimate, which I found much more conducive to learning. The format of the class was extremely interactive and required students to be constantly engaged. This was really useful because it helped us evaluate if we truly understood the topics. Anisa was also such a knowledgeable, sincere, and kind instructor who cared about the success of each one of her students. She has a great sense of our individual strengths and weaknesses, and helped formulate a plan that is tailored to our specific needs.

Overall, I am so glad that I took the course. Their tips, tricks, and lesson plans helped me improve my verbal score from the low 30s to 40s. Highly recommend this course to anyone looking to dramatically increase their gmat/gre score in the shortest amount of time.

I absolutely recommend Anisa’s lessons! I was looking for in-person GMAT courses and had the pleasure to met Anisa when she had just opened Test Crackers in Phoenix area. I took the GMAT Verbal and Quant courses with her.

Since the first class she demonstrated to be organized and committed to her student’s progress. It was always easy to follow her lessons as she demonstrated to have great teaching methods and examples to understand complex terms. Anisa always encouraged perseverance and patience on her students, making us understand what the learning process was. Also, classes always started and finished on time.

I also attended Verbal office hours where Anisa patiently solved all the students concerns. Without doubts, if I had to take the course again, I would definitely take her classes. Anisa is not only a great teacher but also an amazing person!

I took Anisa's GMAT Verbal and Quant course in Berkeley, CA in Spring of 2019. Anisa is a top notch instructor and most importantly, she is personally invested in your success.

Everyone has their own journey with standardized tests, and at times it can feel like a course with students at different levels and fail to cater to your unique needs. Testcrackers curriculum is extremely interactive to drive engagement of all students, and Anisa worked with me outside of class to make sure I had the resources I needed to succeed to my own standards.

As many have mentioned, in the end, not test course alone is going to help you ace your GMAT alone. However, without the resources Anisa provided me, I am confident the journey to achieving my goal would have been much more difficult, if not impossible. I set an extremely high goal for myself at the beginning of the course and was able to achieve it through the work I put in, leveraging the resources Anisa & Testcrackers continued to provide me after the course ended. And I only ended up taking the official test once, which saved me $250 on a retest because I walked in so prepared!

I think you can expect to have solid curriculum from many different test prep locations. Testcrackers edge is really their personable & kind instructors, individual attention, and willingness to help you beyond the classroom. Anisa really wants all her students to be there best and will work hard to help you get there.

I cannot speak highly enough of Anisa and TestCrackers. I was in a unique situation deciding between the GRE/LSAT, how much to spend, how to take classes when I am out of town working all summer, etc. Anisa and Yuri took the time (I mean hours) to speak with my family and me on the phone. They gave us great, unbiased advice, and even were helpful in directing me where I should go even if it was not with them. They truly want the best for all their students. Anisa went ABOVE AND BEYOND for my GRE tutoring. I did one-on-one tutoring with her, which was great for me because she was able to really customize our sessions to what I needed the most help with. Anisa is one of the kindest souls I have ever met, pure genius, and truly (in my opinion) made to teach. She is very good at simplifying it down for those of us who struggle with certain aspects of the test in a way that you can understand it. I also have been known to "argue" with tutors about why something is correct/incorrect (because I think standardized tests are bogus and do not understand their logic), and Anisa was very patient with me in that regard. She really worked hard at helping me to try and think like the test-makers.
Another extremely positive thing about TestCrackers is that they have their own pre-laid out curriculum, which was something I was looking for. They have an efficient spreadsheet system that allows you to see what areas you struggle with accuracy, time, need to review, etc. so you never are unsure what you need to do, and there is always more you can expand on.
There are so many more positive things I can say about them -- I just can't list them all! Prepping for these tests is honestly pretty miserable but Anisa and TestCrackers truly made it the most enjoyable experience it could have been.

I cannot think of a company or organization in recent memory that impressed me more than Testcrackers. They were easily the best decision I made in the grad school app process and after working with Testcrackers, I had the confidence to apply to my dream schools and ended up being accepted to Harvard, Oxford, Berkeley and Yale. Between the classes, prep books and office hours, every aspect of their program feels intentional and clearly designed to set you up for success. They also have phenomenal partners like Bancroft Advising which made a world of difference in my applications. Throughout the app prep process, I had many moments when I got discouraged and the team is truly a phone call away which still surprised me each time because I'm just not accustomed to that kind of genuine accessibility and care. There were many times when I got one-on-one attention during office hours or even times when I couldn't make office hours and the team took time especially for me to go over questions over video. I couldn't believe the level of care I received and could not recommend them more. They truly set the bar for what a student-centered company should be. Frankly, I'm not one to leave reviews but I twholeheartedly believe in the Testcrackers model and greatly appreciate how incredible they were. I highly recommend Testcrackers - the single best investment I have made.
