ABSOLUTE SCAM! RECYCLED SHOES AND TRICKING CLIENTS!
CEO Vanessa apparently was going to take required action herself in regards to my complaint but I spoke to the head of clientele. No CEO. So for a moment I thought things will be resolved instead for half hour I was told the same things to repair the shoes again because they can see how awful of a job had been done. It’s been three months almost and nothing resolved. They’re now offering me an “like to like” pair. And again stopped responding. They said they’ll call me and they didn’t. My feet are so narrow they do not fit other worn shoes. They’re planning to send me a pair of shoes (AND COLLECT MY FAULTY ONES) and these like to like shoes problem is someone else has broken into them, ESPECIALLY with louboutins you CANT SHARE them because your feet mould within the shoe and it has to be the perfect size! At first brand new they are so tight, but then they soften with your foot shape! People who have them will know! So basically trying to send me someone else’s shoes they probably ruined and it’s a smart way to handle this situation. Let me explain how.
Customer A: says they do not want to send their shoes in because you’ve damaged it enough.
Restory: We can offer you to send you these shoes and we will give you a refurbished “like to like” pair in return.
Customer A (if stupid or naive): Sends the shoes and gets the “like to like” pair.
Customer B (with the same problem): My louboutins have been damaged by you and complains to the restory.
Restory: We can give you a “like to like” pair.
Customer B: Accepts the offer.
Restory: NOW repairs Customer A’s louboutins and sends it to Customer B, then ask to collect the faulty Customer B shoes to then send to CUSTOMER C.
AND THE CYCLE GOES ON! ITS SMART ITS RECYCLING IT DOESN'T SPEND A SINGLE PENNY FROM THE COMPANY PROFIT NOR COMPENSATES FOR THE DAMAGE!
Instead of telling magazines you have a 7 figure company now, work on your customer service. This is what I call someone who started the business for money, if you had a bit of passion, your quality would NOT drop. But after making it this far, now you don’t care!

Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service. They cannot be reached and if you're lucky, will respond to a simple question in 7-10 days. When I finally received a quote to repair my shoes, I decided not to go ahead with it but now cannot get my shoes back from them. It has been days of radio silence since I made my request. I have used the Restory in the past but would not send anything to them again - too frustrating and too unresponsive.

Absolutely avoid! They are so unprofessional, apart from no one arriving to collect my shoes many times, my phone calls would always go unanswered, then finally the shoes get collected! Two weeks later I get an email from them quoting £340 to take a stain out of my shoes when the original quote was £80! Like seriously WTAF! I might as well buy a new pair of shoes! Total joke. I’m getting the shoes returned & will find somewhere more reasonable.

They collected a very expensive handbag and cashmere jumper from me in June, sent me a confirmation email back, and since then, silence.
I have emailed and messaged numerous times, and tried calling more times than I can remember. Nothing, just an automated message saying they will get back to me.
I have now consulted a lawyer.
The Restory, if you are a real company and not a scam who steals peoples belongings, will you please get a human to contact me direct and sort this out?

Apart from not delivering my bag on the stated time. on finally being abled to get hold of customer service I was informed that the bag had been delivered and signed for. however, whoever signed didnt live at my address, so got a free bag. The customer service is appalling

ABSOLUTELY RUINED MY LOUBOUTINS! UNWEARABLE CONDITION!
I gave my shoes to repair and they have done the most awful job, when I received the shoes I was so excited and they have damaged the shoes, even more, the heel of the shoe is peeling off when it never was when I sent it, there are red dots inside the shoe, they have WIPED off the inner sole logo which makes the shoes look like an absolute fake! They did not use any gentle cleaning products, they didn't clean the sole of the shoe before adding the rubber protector and the rubber is coming off from the edges of the leather making £550 shoes look like they're bought from a thrift shop for £10. DISGUSTING SERVICE, DO NOT TRUST THE FACT THAT THEY WORK WITH LUXURY DEPARTMENT STORES! My Louboutins are ruined, I was able to at least still wear them before, I thought instead of buying a new pair I can buy a different color and keep the black ones I have but NOW I HAVE TO BUY TWO NEW PAIRS BECAUSE MY BLACK LOUBS ARE RUINED AND THE RESTORY ARE DOING NOTHING ABOUT IT! All they said was they can repair the shoe AGAIN and give me back the money I paid but they've already made PERMANENT damages!!! ITS BEEN TWO MONTHS AND I'M STILL DEALING WITH LATE RESPONSES TO EMAILS AND NO RESOLUTION.

They don't respond
They don't respond on their business WhatsApp, they don't even respond when you chase them on social media. If you check their posts, there's people complaining that they never got their things returned to them.
I wouldn't trust these guys with thousands of euros worth of luxury goods.

Do not recommend this service
The process of getting the initial quote and sending the shoe to their workshop was super easy and smooth, however, that's where it stopped..
Initially, they told me they would be able to fix my shoe, then after following up, they said they couldn't. After following up again, they said they could, but that it would cost over $400. I paid but didn't hear more, so when I followed up, they told me the service they had stated as the fix wasn't going to be possible, and that I had to send my other shoe, and pay more, for an additional service. At this point, after having my shoe for over 10 weeks, I asked for it back, and to cancel the service.
Over 12 weeks after I sent the shoe, I now (finally) have my shoe back, but still no refund. They told me they have banking issues, which I find hard to believe. I will give them that they have been responsive whenever I have followed up, but that's about the only positive I can say. I'm extremely disappointed in this service, and certainly hope to see my refund come through soon.

IF there’s a zero star to give I will but unfortunately nothing. We have been chasing the RESTORY through emails about our REFUND, they can’t do the service what we wanted. Restory asked for the payment and straightaway paid for it but for how many weeks they emailed that they can’t do the service what we wanted and now it’s been more than a month that we’ve been chasing our REFUND till now, keep emailing and messaging them but no reply, regrettably find their website!!

I had a dress damaged in drycleaning so I gave it to restory. Tamika and the team were very honest in what was possible and not possible for the kind of damage I sustained and the nature of the dress. Be mindful and have an open mind as sometimes the damage/wear will require modifications to your piece. But take it as an opportunity as you can add your own creative imput into any modification.

Disgusting customer service
Disgusting customer service. I sent in a pair of Chanel ballet flats to be cleaned/repaired, when they were ready to be returned to me I was sent a form to fill out with my return address, I was then sent two confirmation emails which confirmed the address. The shoes were instead sent to an old home address which they had from a repair two years ago and which I have no connection to. I only found this out because I got a confirmation email from DHL with the shipping label on it. I tried calling/messaging the Restory multiple times that afternoon as you can imagine I was panicking. They finally got in contact with me two days later, with no apology for the stress poor customer service at all. I asked for my complaint to be escalated and still have had no response.
Very good job
Very good job in redoing the heels on my boots. They weren't any type of luxury boots, but since they were fine otherwise, it made sense and it's more sustainable to repair them rather than buy new ones. The outer edges were really worn down, but the people at Restory managed to remove the damaged part and put a new heel in place and it looks brand new now. That's another 3 years ahead. Thank you.

The Restory beggar belief in the amazing results they are able to achieve. I am almost speechless at the perfection of the cashmere repair they carried out for me. Beyond brilliant company/talent/service. Follow them on Instagram, they are inspiring! I don’t know how they do it!

They saved my designed bag!
I am beyond thrilled with the service I received. I spilled an alcohol based liquid on my Givenchy Antigona bag and thought it was ruined (hideous stain with clear outlines). The first repair shop I took it to told me my purse was irreparable. Then I found the Restory. It was very easy to arrange the shipping to the UK from the US. And my purse was SAVED! The repair is flawless, my bag looks brand new and they even cleaned the interior. I'm going to be sending off some boots to repair next. The Restory far far exceeded my expectations.

4 weeks for a simple resole job!
Sent my shoes for resole and reheal. £65 plus £10 delivery charge. Stated time for the job: 5-7 days. Everywhere advertised returns within a week. I relied on this time when sending my shoes ahead of holidays. 10 days later I emailed the company asking for status update. The staff informed me that I should receive a confirmation email by the end of the week. It’ll make it 3 weeks since I placed the order and pre-paid in full. Received an email to book my collection - the earliest available date is 2 August!! I have placed the order on 8 July. Absolutely unacceptable. 4 weeks for a simple reheal and resole when charging such high prices. This is not the premium service and timings are completely understated and falsely advertised!

Unfortunately they completely ruined my classic Chanel bag. It had a small scratch, and they covered it by changing the colour around it and it now looks like a big stain. I wish they would have simply said they can’t fix it….
