Bought BOSH Series 8 Integrated Microwave- Graded. It did only said it was graded cause of the strach on the back which is not visible. I can’t believe this is truth now as only after 3 years of use- the Microwave broken down. Error E1007. Contacted company for a warranty. Unfortunately warranty is only valid 2 years! I have a feeling the microwave that was sold to me not only did have a strach but it was faulty as I can’t imagine BOSH will last me only 3 years of use.

Second time buying. Haven’t unwrapped it yet but quick efficient service, good comms. Delivery driver Frank was amazing both physically getting it in place but also his sparkling attitude. Made a big difference to my day!

Very helpful when I telephoned them to confirm the appliance came with an LPG conversion kit. Buying process easy and delivery confirmation within 24 hours. So far excellent service. Just waiting delivery.

Bought Bosch tumble dryer from them it arrived in bubble wrap which I thought was strange so called them to be told that because they get the machine direct this was the reason so I just left it at that couldn’t be bothered to argue
2 days later started to get problem with machine code kept coming up telling me to run cleaning circle so called them they told me to call Bosch
I had to wait 2 weeks for Bosch engineer who was brilliant who told me it wasn’t new and had 102 hours run time on it
So all though they said it was new the  lied to me stay well clear of this company

Regraded SMEG m/wave…
Inadvertently purchased a regraded SMEG microwave in March 25. I had wanted to purchase a new one. Too late to change once mistake realized. Well packaged but not in box. Delivered on pallet. No problems. The "quality report" left inside the appliance listed faults we couldn't find. What was obvious to the naked eye immediately however was three solder points of four to attach the support bar to four fingers of the grill element had come adrift. Does not say much about quality control. To be repaired under warranty but inconvenient to say the least. Pity.
Further to above early August 25 the oven stopped working after it emitted a loud bang. It transpires that the main pcb had in part blown and has to be replaced. Again to be repaired under warranty (overall cost with engineer visits estimated to be in region of £200) but it's the inconvenience of it all. Engineer could not say why the board had shorted and could only guess it may have been faulty. Previous three stars reduced to one. Pity. And it goes from bad to awful. Last week, 23 Mar 2025, both control knobs again became faulty and again will have to be replaced. Supplier unable/unwilling to help as faults 3 logged 3 weeks after installation and so out of warranty period.

Ben, the driver, was amazing! He was cheerful, helpful and kind.
Ben rung before my delivery to inform me of the timeframe I could expect him in .
He went above and beyond to get the heavy range cooker up garden steps and narrow paths to my kitchen.
It was totally unexpected and I am most grateful to him!

I'm always a bit nervous ordering from small, unknown companies, but the service from this company was 5 star. I ordered a new cooker hood online and received a phone call within about 30 minutes to confirm delivery details. The item arrived at 08.30am on the day. The driver advised me how to activate the warranty and carried it into the house for me. I would highly recommend this company and would definitely use the again.

Ordered a cooker hood with a damaged box. Once opened found the product was badly damaged. Contacted them by email with photos which was dealt with quickly and efficiently and a full refund including delivery charge was issued.
Excellent customer service. Highly recommend.

Great price and simple collection.
The damage was more extensive than listed, perhaps as a result of handling at the Appliance Depot, and there was no packaging except some bubble wrap around the sides only (not the bottom), so there were extra scratches where it was moved on the concrete floor of the warehouse.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with Appliance World was bad enough that I feel obligated to warn others.

I purchased a Bosch fridge freezer from them that was advertised as “box damage only.” What was delivered was not minor packaging damage. The appliance itself was covered in dents and scratches — far beyond anything that could reasonably be described as cosmetic box damage. It felt completely misrepresented.

To their credit, I did eventually receive a refund. However, it took them over a week to arrange collection of the damaged item. Fortunately, I was in a position where I could afford to purchase another fridge elsewhere in the meantime. Not everyone would be so lucky. Many people simply can’t afford to have that amount of money tied up while waiting nearly two weeks for a refund, effectively leaving them without a fridge.

What’s particularly frustrating is that I had seen other reviews mentioning a pattern — damaged goods being delivered and then customers being offered a small partial refund once they complain. I chose to ignore those warnings, hoping my experience would be different. It wasn’t. It genuinely feels like part of their business model is to deliver items in worse condition than advertised and then offer a token discount to make customers accept it.

The whole experience was stressful, inconvenient, and avoidable. I would strongly advise anyone considering buying from Appliance Depot to think very carefully and read the reviews before parting with their money.

If this review helps someone avoid the hassle I went through, then at least something positive has come out of it.

Frank was great, earlier than expected and rang me to let me know that he was on his way. Brought both appliances into the kitchen for me. Very polite and friendly

Purchased a Smeg range cooker and a Bosch American style fridge freezer from them.
The cooker was discounted to a good price considering the very minor damage to the enamel paint that was easily repaired.
The fridge freezer was basically brand new an unmarked in its full from factory packaging, and after the discount offer they had running it was a good price.
After installing the fridge freezer and waiting 24hr before turning it on, it was quickly identified as faulty (after 4hrs the fridge was minus 4 and no matter what you did it sat at this temp). After contacting TAD with this issue the fridge freezer was very quickly replaced with the same model etc.
This was a hassle but you could get just the same when buying from Currys etc.

Frank was absolutely brilliant, he called me and was patient enough for one on my team to turn up. Even when my guy didn’t show up, Frank helped out to get my items securely placed and delivered like a professional!! Thank you Frank !!

My experience was straight forward. The carrier from Annan in Scotland was a very nice guy and he was helpful too.
It is worth mentioning however, that although the transport of my item went without any hitch, it does add substantially to the cost of the item.
This obviously adds to the original cost and detracts from the saving made in buying from the ‘depot’
Consideration must also take into account, the fact that you have to deal with the disposal of the old item and the unpacking on the doorstep of the new ! If you live alone like me, this too detracts from the saving made !
However, all in all, I am happy with the item and I did save a little
