I've used a number of different online selling platforms for my handmade jewellery business. The British Craft House stands out for a number of reasons. Firstly, every single seller is carefully vetted to ensure that all our products are handmade in the UK, secondly it's very straight forward to get started, thirdly the support from the founder is brilliant, she answers all questions promptly and has built an incredibly supportive group of small business owners. Easily the best I've used.

The most supportive and helpful selling platform! No question or query is too much. And they work tirelessly to spread the word and triumph small businesses. So glad I joined them!

I’ve been a seller on The British Craft House for several years, and I can honestly say it’s been the best decision for my small business. The site is so easy to use — whether you’re listing products or shopping for beautiful handmade items.

The support from Dottie and the Seller Hub community is incredible; everyone is so friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to help. Like anything new, it takes a little time to learn your way around, but once you do, it all feels natural.

I’ve tried other online platforms in the past, but none come close to The British Craft House for ease of use, supportive community, and genuine sales. I absolutely love being part of it!

I purchased a Hygge mug as a gift from Absolutely Clay Pottery last week - thank you, it's perfect! So carefully packed for posting. Loved the gift wrap with the clay heart too - the joy of buying from a small business! 🥰 Highly recommended.

Edit: Quick response from Dottie after leaving my review. She contacted the seller and then I got a quick response from Jackie. Due to their responses I've updated from 1 to 3 stars. Missing stars due to it being unclear on website as to how long it takes for items to be dispatched so it has caused a bit of stress. However, they do have some lovely items on the website and I would purchase from them again (but not leave the timings so close next time!)

Ordered a necklace on 13/08/24 at 11:30am. Delivery said Royal Mail tracked 24hrs and the item said in stock which is why I purchased from this company as i needed something before Saturday. 3 days later and still not dispatched, I emailed the company yesterday to ask when it would be dispatched and they haven't bothered to respond. If you're a small company that takes a while to dispatch that's absolutely fine but then say on your website "usually dispatched in 1-2weeks" or however long you need. Manage customer expectations otherwise you end up with people feeling like they've been scammed like me!

I bought the most beautiful leather backpack from Sulana Leather. Words cannot describe how gorgeous it is. Beautifully crafted from the finest leather. I am just delighted. You cannot go wrong with Sulana Leather.

Love this website, so many hand crafts and cards to shop for.

A really lovely selection of items to choose from - and all made in the UK - brilliant!
It was easy to order what I wanted and it was delivered promptly with a lovely note from the maker - I felt so important!
The website is easy to navigate and easy to find what you didn't know you wanted, but is just perfect!

Lovely original crafts. I’ve bought lots of jewellery for myself and friends from this website and have always been very happy with the speed of delivery and the items I have bought.

I've used the British Craft House now on several occasions, often for gifts, more often for myself. The products have always been gorgeous and of very high quality. The only time I did have a slight issue, due to unforeseen circumstances, it was dealt with swiftly and very pleasantly. I can honestly highly recommend the British Craft House

A fabulous selection of crafts by British makers. A great place to look for gifts as there is something for everyone here. The only danger being you are too tempted!

I've recently purchased some make up remover pads and a pretty drawstring bag to parcel a present. Good communication from the seller and swift delivery. Also, I like that it's always possible to find something different amongst the many sellers.
