Thank you for taking the time to leave a review, and we’re really sorry for how this order turned out.

You’re absolutely right to expect a reliable next-day service. In this case, the order was shipped directly from our manufacturer and unfortunately went out a day later than planned. We then discovered it had been sent to an incorrect address, which is why the tracking details didn’t work as expected initially, we completely understand how frustrating that must have been.

As soon as we identified the issue, we acted quickly to resolve it by sending out a replacement to the correct address. We also refunded your delivery charge in full, and arranged a strong discount for you on the controller you were considering as a gesture of goodwill.

We did our best to keep you updated throughout, but we appreciate that the overall experience didn’t meet expectations, and for that we sincerely apologise. This isn’t the standard we aim to deliver, especially for customers considering higher-value purchases.

We’re sorry to hear that you remain dissatisfied, however we do feel it’s important to clarify the situation to ensure an accurate reflection of events.

From the outset, we spent a considerable amount of time assisting you with troubleshooting, both over the phone and via email. This included detailed step-by-step diagnostics to isolate the issue, followed by further support once the unit was returned. These steps are specifically designed to determine whether a fault is present before any return is processed.

When your Pioneer DJM-250MK2 was returned to us, it was thoroughly tested in-store alongside our display unit under identical conditions. We were unable to reproduce the issue described, and both mixers performed within normal operating parameters. As demonstrated during testing, a very low level of noise can be present when gain is pushed to extreme levels on analogue equipment, which is expected behaviour and not indicative of a fault.

The unit was returned to us in a condition that was not saleable as brand new. Under normal circumstances, this would require the item to be sold as B-stock at a reduced price, and a deduction would be applied accordingly.

However, as a gesture of goodwill, particularly given that you retained the remainder of the bundle (turntables and cartridges) we made the decision to proceed with a full refund of the exact amount you paid for the mixer. The unit will now be sold by us as B-stock at a loss.

To be absolutely clear, the refund issued reflects 100% of the price paid for the mixer within your original purchase. It would not be appropriate or standard practice to refund a higher standalone retail value than what was originally paid as part of a discounted bundle.

Regarding return postage: our policy, in line with standard retail practice, is that shipping costs are not reimbursed where no fault is found. As our testing confirmed the unit to be functioning correctly, we were unable to cover this cost.

We note your comments regarding your replacement mixer, the Allen & Heath Xone:24C, and we’re pleased to hear you are satisfied with your current setup. However, based on our testing and direct comparison with identical units, we remain confident that the mixer supplied was operating as intended.

While we regret that you feel this experience was unsatisfactory, we are confident that we acted fairly, provided extensive support throughout, and ultimately issued a full refund as a gesture of goodwill despite the condition of the returned item.
