Providing misleading initial quotes to secure a sale, only to increase the price at the point of booking, is unacceptable and undermines trust in the entire process. Customers should exercise caution when engaging with individuals who demonstrate such practices

We paid £5000 for a worktop installation from the Marble Group.
After a couple of months we noticed that water seemed to be draining through the gap between the worktop and splashback behind the tap.
We asked if there is some hidden sealant, or whether we should be concerned.
The response was to say that we must have removed the silicone and an implication that we were lying. I guess the silicone has somehow drained or been pulled through the gap - it's insulting, unprofessional and unnecessary to suggest to a customer that they removed it themselves.

At the time TMG quoted they said they have "An above and beyond customer service ethos" and offer a 10 year guarantee. They have said they will charge £180 to replace the missing silicone. It would take a couple of minutes of their time.

A company with an "above and beyond customer service ethos" would offer to redo the sealant for free when next in the area.

Came today to fit our quartz worksurface. They were polite, professional and did a superb job. Happy to answer all our questions so that we were confident in how to care for the quartz. No hesitation in recommending them to anyone.

Amazing service, from ordering, customer service, the guys came to measure and finally the fitting. Five star service all round, very professional service. They even travelled to the Isle of Wight.

Fantastic, professional company. We were badly let down by another company and then went to The Marble Group. Everything about this company is amazing, from the initial contact and help from Charlie in choosing the marble we needed, to the template and to the fantastic fitting of our quartz worktops by Sabino and Reef. They also covered our floor with protective covering. The whole process was quick, ultra professional and friendly. I can highly recommend them.

I had my quartz kitchen worktop fitted by The Marble Group back in October 2021. Unfortunately, the epoxy between the join of two sections had worked itself loose. I contacted TMG, and they said they would send someone to repair the joint the following week. The installation engineers (Brendon and Ethan) were very courteous and did a fantastic job. They used a newer pre-mixed epoxy product (no separate harder) for the repair. They expertly matched the primary colour of my worktop by mixing a light and dark epoxy. The product hardened very quickly, and they were soon on their way after a quick tidy up.

I can highly recommend TMG. They have been excellent not only throughout the original sales (Georgina), templating and installation process but also when I needed after sales support some 18 months later; and at no additional cost.

I am very pleased with the worktop and backsplash from the Marble Group. But it was their staff, from first enquiry and project management to templating and installation which made them a pleasure to deal with at every stage. During the renovation of our flat, I have dealt with a range of suppliers and Marble World has been the best.

Very happy with the service from The Marble Group. Competitive price, sales team were very responsive, ‘templater’ friendly and professional, fitting done to high standard, taking care to protect our floor and one minor bit of snagging resolved quickly. Would highly recommend this company.

Very efficient. Sounded a bit rough on the phone, so I was concerned as to how good a job they would do. But needn't of worried - they were very good indeed. They even spoke to the kitchen company to get them to make required alterations to the sink.
