This company is a SCAM ...buyer beware! Seems they do this to many consumers!! Bought 4 pairs...all same size...all too small...tried on, too small, packed back up all 4 perfect shape, as received. They refunxed after 7 weeks 3 of 4...claimed one pair worn when I asked why 3 vs 4 refunded. Claim worn..could not have worn too small. We'll ither reviews shiw this is the Game they play. So they are trying to keep money and product...wish I had looked up prior to buying. An F rating and Same Scam with many others reporting them!

RUN AWAY! This company is a scam! I ordered 2 pairs of shoes and returned one pair that didn't fit per customer service. Kept tracking info, but refund never came. Like other customers found, they don't answer the phone, return your email, and use AI to pretend to respond! Still no refund after 6 weeks! UPDATE: After numerous contacts in various ways, including website, emails, and even a call to another number, my full purchase price for the pair I returned was credited 10 weeks after purchase to my credit card on March 10th. So keep trying if you are still waiting. But better yet, don't order from them ever!

When the store was in my area, I couldn't have had a better experience. Since then, I had one order that wasn't shipped, and I had to remind them and a recent on that the shoelace broke in two weeks and the sole had issues in two months. Emailed back and forth with the pictures and they replied they can do nothing. Blamed it on how where I wear and such. Put them on, drive to work, sit at desk, go home, repeat. I can count on one hand I have taken time to write a review, and, in this case, it should have a zero rating. Won't get my business again.

Ever since your stores closed, it has become really difficult to choose shoes from your company. Ive been a long-time customer of ABEO, but now it's especially challenging, particularly when it comes to getting a refund for my returned order. The last representative I spoke with was hard to understand before Lorence, but Lorence explained everything clearly, including why I received two packages due to the duplicate order ABEO-155108. I apologize for being rude to Lorence, but he was very patient and did an excellent job. You should definitely keep Lawrence on your team.

I suspect this company is a sham. I ordered metatarsal support sneakers which were almost a size and a half too big. I decided return and opted for a refund. This was over 6 weeks ago. I inquired and was told the refund was processing. That was on Dec 9 2024. I have yet to see the money refunded. I am genuinely concerned. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. I am out $69 right now.

Ugh I wish I had read these reviews before I ordered. Cute pics online, great marketing, but none of their shoes fit or felt comfortable, and I really wonder about their R&D. Returning the shoes was a TOTAL drag. They didn't issue me enough shipping labels, wrote an email, got a nonsense AI response, had to call in multiple times to get more, sent them in, no response for weeks, wrote in, got an AI message, then eventually a partial refund, so I called in and finally got the full refund. The customer service when I called in has always been great but absolutely ridiculous how much time and effort.

Do not order from the walking company. They have deducted $110.20 from my account. I haven’t received anything from them, not even a confirmation of my order. I have sent 3 e-mails and called and waited for a long time. After holding a message comes saying to e-mail them and they disconnect you.

Slow processing. Advertise discounts don’t work and they make it very difficult to follow up and hold them to their word. Customer service is entirely AI generated and quite frankly not just inept but also condescending. The use of legal language will help to hold them accountable.

If I could rate zero I would, I bought a pair of shoes they came in a timely manner. I tried them on for two hours the heel slipped so I sent it back original box original shipping package, etc. and they refuse the refund. Said I could either forfeit my money and the shoes or take the shoes back, which don’t fit.

Return policy - deducting $10 for shipping on any returns. Takes long time to receive item. Only available option on the East Coast is online. Customer service hours are minimal. Not conducive to online shopping. Need to change some policies and be available to customers.

Wish I had realized what a terrible company this is. I ordered 3 different sets of boots after being ‘helped’ to get the right size. NONE of them fit, 2 pairs were laughably too small. But the worse is I sent them all back with their return forms and they STILL have not credited ME FOR THEM. HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS OF GOODS and no credit.

I purchased $211.64 boots. Returned the boots 11/19/24, they received the boots 11/20/24, and claimed my return was processed to my bank. As of today I still have not received my money. DO NOT BUY FROM THE WALKING COMPANY!!

Purchased two pairs of sandals. One did not fit correctly so I decided to return it. I processed the return as per their specific directions through Happy Returns. It was dropped at the appropriate place and packaged with the pre-printed return label. A month later and I'd heard nothing. I contacted The Walking Store and they claim that they have no record of my return. I contacted Happy Returns and they directed me back to The Walking Store. I AM NOW OUT $60 for this return!!! I am more than upset and don't find their response adequate or helpful in any way. As far as I'm concerned this group is not trustworthy and has no intention of processing return refunds. AVOID PURCHASING FROM THEM!!

Don’t bother! Ordered shoes, right box, wrong color. Thought it was a one time mistake. Nope! Second Order-same. Right box, wrong color. Never ordering from them again.👎

If there was a negative number of stars I would have chosen that!
I ordered a pair of boots using a discount coupon and at the very last moment of the purchase process, as I hit the order button, the price reverted back to the full price!
I immediately tried to cancel the order using the email link for that on their own website, when I did not receive any kind of confirmation (aside from an auto-generated acknowledgement), I called customer service and was assured the order was cancelled.
Three days later, still no refund and an email claiming the order was on its way, and it was too late to cancel! The date the shipping label was created was 3 days after I cancelled this order!
Now I am being told that there will be a $10 fee for handling the refund/return. This is very poor customer service. Truly disgusted with this horrible customer service.

This company is horrible to deal with very slow delivery. When you return items you better keep track of your tracking numbers! They claim they didn’t receive 3 pair of shoes I returned! I do have the tracking info. Looks like it will be a fight to get my refunds!
When you do get a return processed - Their return department takes several weeks - mine took a month to issue return now wondering if I will actually get the refund ever! I will never purchase anything from this company again!

Months later and no call back from an employee who was supposed to call back. Many calls were made. I do not recommend doing any business with this company anymore. They have changed. Different since online. Poor.

I purchased a pair of sandals for $125.00. Two months later on my 4th wearing the strap broke. I contacted them to correct the situation. Here is the consistent response I got from them “I’m very sorry for the delay in addressing your concern about the defective shoes from Order #WK1526728…I will investigate the status of your return and ensure that it is handled correctly. (Aug29). Still no response from them. The response came from Lawrence Customer Experience team. I would discourage customers from using The Walking Company. No follow through. I went ahead and purchased shoes from Macy’s because they stand behind their products.

The company was very responsible and mature about exchanges and returns. I bought two shoes from the company because I was unsure of what size I should get and ended up returning one. Customer service was very attentive and considerate in terms of responding to my problems with it. They apologized and offered solutions in a way that I was surprised about.

Their new fit to size really helped me find the right size. When I tried on the shoes they fit really well, and I love them. Very comfy and no need to break in. I really got great everyday work shoes from walking co.
