This program is the best of its kind out there and perhaps the only program where you get to learn from actual quants, have looked thru basically all the resources out there for quant interview prep and this is by far the best one you can get. The practice questions are really up to date, project and resume reviews very helpful and if you come from outside the industry this is a great option overall, program is a little pricey but the ROi is there if you make use of the resources and actually put in the work tho it can be a decent amount of work, you also get to collaborate w the wsq community which has some pretty smart folks breaking into quant or on quant which makes it fun. Everyone is very helpful and supportive and the quant mentors are great

The content for Python is top-notch; my mentor was responsive and excellent. I happened to find my next job externally, but WSQ greatly helped me get across the finish line with them. HIGHLY recommended for people who have SOME of the qualifications for Buy-Side Quant Finance but need to fill in some gaps (Quant Concepts, Financial Markets, Python, Resume, LinkedIn, Interview Skills, Job Sourcing) to get to their goal.

I was trying to transition from academia to quant finance and I found wallstreetquants. I had no prior experience, so the courses really helped me gain some basics of what a quant would do at work. The list of interview problems was very helpful for me to train myself. Most of the problems could be found online if you dig into it, but such a compiled list saved me lots of time. Of course, only working on those problems was not enough - I also went through some textbooks mentioned there for each subject. I landed a buy-side quant role a few months after attending the course.
The mentor I was paired with was clearly an experienced buy-side quant who knew the industry well. He helped me with my resume at that time, and has still been available for me to ask career related questions after more than a year. It's especially helpful for a junior quant like myself to have someone senior to talk to when feeling lost. I'm very grateful to have such a great mentor.

I really enjoyed the course! The interview training section was my favorite part. Knowing the categories and the systematic way of approaching them has helped me feel more confident. What I valued most was the guidance that I received from my assigned mentor. Receiving a detailed response in less than 24 hours helped me navigate the course, personal projects, resume, and job application process! Solid 10/10.

Everything about this course was absolutely great! Course includes various concepts and allows you to put them into practice through projects, which is a key factor that employers looked at when I was applying. Furthermore, the question prep also helped me pass several rounds of interviews. Resume revamp was great too! At the end of the day, got a quant offer and loved every step of the quant career advising course that WSQ has to offer. Would be cool to officially set up trading one's strategies, but I loved the whole experience, and I'm grateful for having gone through the completed course.

Experts were really helpful, during the time of doubts and their way of presenting various strategies helped me in creating a better understanding about their origin, which proved useful during various interviews.

The structure of the program is perfect, Quant course, then interview preparation. I was really tense about my placements, but The course, mentors, and the community made me feel confident now. The price is worth it.

The course is designed to make you actually understand the basics of how to do well in quant finance instead of just cramming for interviews. WSQ was extremely helpful in the sense that it creates a space for proactive learners to talk to one another. Whenever I have a question, I could almost always find an answer in the Discord channel or can directly ask the mentors. I personally need more personalized learning experience, and WSQ did a great job offering that. Other members in the community are also super willing to help each other out. Such a supportive community is what distinguish WSQ from other services.

The course project was a topic of discussion in every single interview I had for quant trading roles at IBs and prop firms. Projects on most resumes tend to be pretty basic but with the support of my mentor, I was able to implement a sophisticated equities statistical arbitrage strategy that stood out. The quant funds I applied to were all highly interested in my project and backtest results and this was key to landing my current role.

The quant finance literature is extremely vast and the instructors have clearly used their experience to sample the most useful portfolio management ideas. These are communicated coherently and helped me demonstrate depth in my understanding throughout my quant interviews. This bootcamp gave me the language to comfortably and precisely communicate my alpha-generating ideas with PMs and traders throughout the interview process.

The quant instructors are very proactive in answering questions related to timing applications, choosing locations for roles, brainteasers and behavioral questions. The question bank was very exhaustive and almost every question in my technical interviews was covered. The discord channel is also extremely helpful in providing solutions hard to find elsewhere.

Finally, one weakness of mine coming into the bootcamp was coding, as I came from a non-technical major. However, with the close involvement of my quant mentor, I was able to finally actually learn proper coding.

This bootcamp can yield higher bang for your buck than a master’s program if you can maintain a proactive approach to learning and stay in touch with the community. I would definitely recommend it.

WallStreetQuants has been a huge help with preparing myself for getting into the industry and connecting me with quants in different firms. It’s seems pricey, but if it gets you on a quant salary it more than pays for itself

The bootcamp is taught extremely well (fun), and it exceeded all of my expectations. It was an important piece in enabling me to land my current role, which I'm very happy with.

It is an excellent course to get going in quantitative finance. This course gave me the tools to return to school and study quant finance. i have ran my own models and actually traded them in the markets. it was a game-changer!

I would def recommend it to anyone looking to get into the industry!

I took 4 data science and finance focused courses last year, mostly from universities and this one actually had a better curriculum than that of one of the more prestigious universities with a reputation for finance.

The curriculum made it easy to fully immerse oneself and see trading through the eyes of a practicing quant. The portfolio optimization techniques and strategies were packaged into relevant and practical exercises making for an engaging experience. The notebooks and provided data sources for ohlc were a nice way to dive right in with a variety of datasets. Advanced concepts were explained well and always tied to practical applications.

All in all, it was a great course and I would highly recommend it for those looking to get into quantitative trading.

The content in the course is useless for interviews, and there's frankly so much better content available online. The question bank is not even recent, and I've been able to find all of these questions elsewhere online. Very disappointed.

The other reviews I see here are not reliable. Definitely not worth the price tag.

I come from a software engineering / tech background and saw a lot of colleagues transition from tech to finance. I wanted to explore this option.

I had no experience in finance and was debating applying for a masters but decided to join WSQ as it was the only quant bootcamp I saw taught by active quants in the industry.

The course material and coaching was nothing short of phenomenal.

I started my software engineering journey through a coding bootcamp and the material in the wall street quants was better than some of the best coding bootcamps I've enrolled in.

If you're looking to land a job as a quant or get into the industry - the wall street quants is probably the only worthwhile investment to help you do so.
