Just found out the watch my now deseased wife bought for me from this scum was a counterfeit.

received my tag watch within 2 days of ordering. Over £300 cheaper than anywhere else. Highly recomended

My so needed a specific model of watch - Watch Giant prices was already competative - called and spoke to them to confirm watch was a genuine make and not a copy - they were happy to provide evidence of watch originality - kept to their promise and bettered a competitors price immedatly no hassle - Watch arrived next day as promised - Excellant

I purchased a Tissot watch from these people just short of 2 years ago, stopped working and as I couldn't get any response from their telephone number I sent it to Tissot for work under the guarantee only to be told it's a counterfeit. The website is no longer available and Tissot tell me they have been trying to get them closed down. So annoyed and disappointed because all of their paperwork says genuine timepieces.

Fast delivery. The item was as described but i found the watch'es box a little old . great value compared to high street though.

Watch broke within a couple of month. No reply to email or answering of the phone. I've since read that they sell fakes :(

I ordered a watch over 2 weeks ago and still have not received it yet you have took the money I have tried to contact on numerous occasions and the contact number doesn't exist and no one has replied to my e-mails I don't know what is going on but I am going the police and trading standards about this website. I am £334 out of pocket this close to christmas and am absolutely outraged by this.

I was a bit apprehensive about buying an expensive watch on line. But i was reassured by staff. Packaging, delivery and most important the watch was great and arrived next day. Hope my son likes it when he gets it for Xmas.Thank you

Had issue with Tissot bought from them and contacted them. Asked to send the watch back for repair. After waiting months they sent me back a different broken watch, sent it back again and they apologised and then sent me back the same broken watch. Complained again and sent watch back - they will not respond to email, phone or letter, gone through small claims but they have now moved location and changed name to The-timebandits got that right total bandits.
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. I am now out of pocket £345 and don't even have a broken watch.
If anyone has a current address please let us know so we can chase the debt.

I placed an order on Friday evening, and received my watch on Tuesday via Royal Mail. The watch is as ordered, so overall I am very pleased with the service. My only issue was when I tried to ring them on the Monday to ensure they had my order, there was no answer. Watch is working okay so obviously cannot comment on the validity of the warranty.

I ordered off here once before with no problem so decided to order again 2 weeks ago. I got the email with the confirmation. 3 days went by and I still hadn't had the watch and it said it would be delivered the next day. I rang the number given, no answer. Emailed the info@watchgiant.com, no answer. Another 3 days went by and I thought ok this is a joke now where is my watch they have taken £200 out my account and they are ignoring me. So the last 2 weeks all I have done is email and ring with no answer or response yet my money's gone from my account! Absolutely disgraceful business needs shutting down! I don't know how I can get a refund as they don't answer the phone or reply to email!!!!

I bought a watch April 28th for my boyfriend as it was his birthday! The watch was an Armani one. They took the money pretty much the next day however I still haven't received anything!!! The company is an absolute joke. These people should be reported to the trading standards and closed down!!

Similar to another review. I purchased a Tissot watch in April 2013 with a " 2 Year Warranty " After 12 months I had an issue with the watch, so I was asked to return it.
I was told that the watch could not be repaired as they do not stock that one anymore, although a local watch repairer had told me it could be repaired.
I was originally offered a replacement, with no warranty but that has failed to appear.
So i have spent £300 on a watch I no longer have, and am now out of pocket and have had to source a new watch elsewhere.
They do not respond to emails and NEVER answer the telephone.

Enquired about a repair under warranty but was told the watch was not covered for this type of fault. A local Tissot dealer said it was and could repair but warranty card was not an official one. Tried to get further response from The Watch Giant but no contact since the original knock back.

It transpires that The Watch Giant do not issue accredited (Tissot) warranties. In other words if they do not believe the watch is faulty you cannot have it repaired by another dealership.

Truly understanding people with amazing customer service and people that really understand you and go out their way for you. Thank you guys for everything you have done for me and I would recommend anyone to purchase from this website. It is genuine and the watches are 100% perfect. Through the issues I had the people here helped me solve it and went out their way for me completely

I purchased a watch for my partner, only for it to break within 2 months. I sent this back as it had 2 year warranty. After waiting 2 months & heard nothing I called for them to tell me that all the paperwork & the faulty watch had been thrown out. :-(
They did not have the same watch in stock & said I would have to wait 4 weeks for a new one. I opted for another watch to be sent, as had waited long enough as it is.
I am awaiting delivery of the new watch.

I ordered a watch from Thewatchgiant, it clearly showed the item was in stock, 2 weeks later I had not received it!

I spent a whole day trying to call them and even sent several emails which went unanswered!

I eventually got through ro be told that the system shows a refund was given (no refund was applied to my card, nor was I contacted regarding this) the woman I spoke to told me they could no longer get the watch I ordered even though it showed on the site it was in stock, which should mean they already have this in their possession!

The woman became rude when I was asking questions about how this happened and why I wasnt contacted and also where my refund was and hung up on me!!

I would like to catagorically state that I was not rude, did not swear or shout, simply asked questions!

I am now hundreds of pounds out of pocket, have no gift for my partner as planned and to top it all off they will now not answer my calls and I have NOT had my refund!!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, THEY HAVE NO WATCHES IN STOCK AND SIMPLY CON YOU AND KEEP YOUR MONEY!!

I will now be contacting a solicitor to take legal action against them!

Rating of 2.5 would probably be more fair

I bought a mid-priced watch with them about a year ago. The order was fulfilled after over 3 weeks, but I didn't really complain about it since the price was really good. The product was genuine, as described, carefully packed etc.
However, after a few months I got irritated with the clasp that was malfunctioning. The contact was really difficult - had to email them 3 times before I got any reply, then I got asked for order number and after a few weeks and a few more emails from my side I finally got a reply saying that the warranty doesn't cover the clasp. After contacting Tissot directly the clasp was swiftly replaced and everything was handled very professionally.
All in all, nothing terribly bad, just a lot of neglect in customer service, but from now on I'll definitely pay the full price in local shop or buy through Amazon instead of this website.

Initially the service was good, and my watches, yes watches were sent out. On my order it was stated they would be sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery, however they were only sent by 'signed for' and this is where the troubles started. The postman deciding it was not valuable, signed for the delivery himself and apparently placed them randomly down the side of my house. 48 hours later, having not deceived the items, I complained and they stated that as I had signed for them, which I hadn't, as I was at the opposite side of the country at the time, and I could prove that, they had fulfilled their obligation and did not want to know. They told me to complain to the Royal Mail if I didn't like it, I even sent them proof of my signatures and location, but they still didn't want to know. After many complaints and visits to the Royal Mail depot locally the postman admitted that he had signed for the item himself, and told me the location where he had left the package. Obviously by this time the parcel as missing, and as there was an admission, I was informed by the Royal Mail that they would cover the cost of the parcel and that the sender would need to raise a claim. I informed the watch giant of this and they told me they did it the very same day. When I enquirer when I would get my refund, they told me not until the Royal Mail pay up, why? When this is no fault of my own? Some 8 weeks later, numerous emails and telephone calls, oh, and thats another thing, the people who make the decisions only seem to work tues- thurs, and only from around 1-3pm, and a conversation with a very rude man at their offices, I am now going through the court system to reclaim the £482 that was originally spent. It appears getting refunds and repairs etc rectified from this company a nigh on impossible, and I would not deal with again. The fact that it appears they also supply cheap, fake goods, as well as damaged goods, I am glad that my products did not arrive and that I have alternative options to take.

I hope others take note of this review and see the company for what they really are......

I really wanted this Armani watch but it was £300 plus everywhere, apart from Watch Giant. I had serious reservations as it was almost half price, but after speaking to an advisor on the phone and being assured they only sell genuine watches, as well as closely reading everything on their website, I decided to take a punt and order it.
Initally I was very pleased as it arrived the next day and when I opened it looked genuine. There were a couple of minor scratches on the strap, and the box was broken, but because of the price I decided to ignore this (if this was a gift for someone this would be unacceptable as the box was totally broken and looked cheap and fake).
After wearing the watch the first day I realised that the date does not change (Armani 2434). I ignored this and thought nothing of it, so I changed it and got on with my day. However, the next day the date failed to change again. Therefore I have come to the conclusion that this is either faultly or a fake, and I am very disappointed. I would absolutely send this back, but I know for a fact they will claim that the box was not broken in the first place and deny me a refund.
In conclusion, I would avoid this dodgy website and pay a little extra for a more reputable source. I have bought an Armani watch before from the WatchShop and the difference in quality is clear, along with the Certificate of Authenticity (something else the watch from WatchGiant lacked).
Pros: Cheap. Arrived the next day. Appears Genuine.
Cons: Broken/Fake Box. Scratches on the Strap. Date function does not work.
