Our Savoy mattress topper is made with Grade 1 feather and down, which is reflected in the price. We also use a high quality casing to ensure the feather and down cannot escape.
Feather and down toppers are designed to add a layer of softness and comfort to a bed, rather than provide support.
I got the wrong bedlinen
I got the wrong bedlinen. at the homepage for double is written 140x200. I ordered this double linen set and got 203x203?

Thank you for your review. As my colleague mentioned via email, we can see that you purchased our 300tc Double Bedlinen Set which is made for a bed that is 135/190cm - a standard UK double bed. The fitted sheet is made for a UK double bed but the duvet cover is not the same size as the bed. Our double duvet covers are 203/203cm. The sizes shown on the size chart and product details page refer to the bed sizes rather than the duvet cover size.

Crunchy pillows, late refund
Bought a pair of feather pillows because I read that they were used at a top hotel and were incredible. Not my experience unfortunately. The feathers were coarse and hard and the pillow made crunching sounds whenever I moved my head (I think it was the fabric used to cover the feathers), which I couldn’t live with. Much better pillows at John Lewis.
I returned the pillows on the assumption that I would receive my refund in 7 - 10 working days as per their terms. Called on 10th day as no refund received. Was told it was only then being processed and would take up to 5 more working days. A bank transfer is instant these days. Not impressed.

Thank you for your review. As explained by our colleague, our warehouse was closed from 24 December to 2 January, so returns could not be received during that period. We received your return on 2 January and processed your refund on 14 January, which is within the 7–10 working days outlined in our Terms and Conditions.
Please note that refunds are issued back to the original payment method via our website. The time it takes for funds to appear in your account is determined by your bank and is outside our control.
Regarding the pillow, the firmer feel of the fabric is due to the high-quality, high-thread-count casing used to prevent feather and down leakage. This is our best-selling pillow, and this feedback is very unusual.
While we are always happy to help, we do not tolerate rude or aggressive language toward our staff, who are doing their best to assist.

Be careful to measure, customer service is lacking
I was so excited to splurge and buy some excellent bedding. I stayed at a hotel in Paris and fell in love with my pillow and sheets. So when I got home, I decided to buy the same. The quality is excellent, but the webiste and customer service aren't. I placed my order and thought I'd ensured I'd purchased the correct size of everything (king size). Not once did the website flag anything suggesting that I double- or triple-check the king-size bed measurements, even though my order was shipping to the US. I had no idea that a king-size bed in the UK is smaller than one in the US. Therefore, my fitted bottom sheet does not fit my bed. When I reached out, it was at this point that this was explained to me. I thought, oh well, I'll buy another fitted sheet as they were on sale, but then shipping was going to be 3X the cost of the fitted sheet. I emailed the representative regarding this and never heard another word. I would have thought, especially since I bought the sheet, that they would have worked with me to come up with some sort of solution. This was very disappointing from a customer service perspective.

Thank you for taking the time to leave this review. As we are a UK based company, all our product names refer to UK bed sizes rather than US sizes. We do know this can be confusing because there is some overlap of size names between the two countries; this is why we include the dimensions of our products on all our product pages and on our buying guide. We often help US customers over the phone or via email prior to purchase to make sure they get the best size for beds that aren't UK standard sizes.
We do not have a warehouse in the US, which means all our products are shipped from the UK. As such, our shipping charges are based on the cost couriers charge us for shipping to countries outside of the UK.
My colleague did come back to you the day after your most recent email to let you know that, as the product you ordered is what was sent out to you, we would unfortunately not be able to send a free replacement.

Sateen or not??
I have used this Company for years for all my linens and have been happy enough to recommend them to friends and family who have also ordered from Tielle. I always order the 300tc Hotel Classic bedlinen. I ordered two fitted sheets in the newly available Emperor size and am very disappointed to find they now call it Sateen. When I called the Company to complain they said it's always been sateen. I have older stock to prove it hasn't. Why change something perfect. Such a shame.

I’m sorry to hear you were unhappy with the sheets, but our 300 thread count linen has always been sateen weave – the only percale weave we sell is our 200 thread count. We have recently rebranded and, as part of this, decided to update our packaging to make some features clearer to customers; this included adding in the reference to sateen weave.

Exceptional products and positive values
I travel a lot, and there is nothing better than the best of hotel beds - and I now have this at home. The linen from Tielle surpasses anything you will get in the vast majority of shops, and I’m not sure about the service comments - the company is really good. Everything they sell is top quality, I’ve bought the bedding, towels, pillows, toppers and dressing gowns - maybe. Only the towels are available the. same elsewhere. A note on the bedding is that their sateen finish. Is not like other sateens, but a hybrid ultra-soft weave.
I think they are a hidden gem and wish more British companies spent less on marketing and more on the product as Tielle clearly does.
Hope they keep their values and don’t change, I couldn’t be happier.
