Unfortunately, Tile Trader has been bought out by Tile Giant, who haven't even bothered to update the Tile Trader website so you can fill your basket with products but then cannot actually checkout. Customer Service don't answer emails and I was gruffly told about the new ownership by someone when I tried calling. I asked if Tile Giant sold the same products and he said no.

I looked up Tile Giant's website and found the same products on there, but they're literally double the price, now.

A good company should be trustworthy. You should expect communications, confirmations and receipts when you buy from them. You should expect updates and information on how your order is progressing and should you have to cancel your order you should expect a prompt refund of your money. You get none of that with this business. No communications, no shipping or delivery forecast. You have to endlessly chase them up, they never ring you back. When the item doesn’t arrive, they wait for you to call and fail to follow up so you have to call them again and again. So when you finally have to cancel the order you get a “I’ll get it refunded right away”…… only they don’t. They take your money on sage pay and so its literally only 7 clicks of the mouse to refund you. In all this is NOT a good company. I strongly recommend to avoid them, pay more if you have too, in the long run it will be worth it.

My free next day delivery turned out to be a fortnight with various issues; no confirmation of order emailed to me, called and was promised a date, they didn’t send them (was told they had been lost by courier), then promised another date which wasn’t fulfilled. When I finally received the tiles they were of good qualify, look great and were a good price but the ‘casual’ customer service along with the failed delivery dates and promises compromised the experience.

I have had a really good experience with TileTrader, the customer service is excellent the tiles arrived within five days of ordering, I also had some returns which after ringing to let them know they were picked up the same day! And after shopping around they were definitely the cheapest. Yes definitely 5* from me, very good customer service. 😊😊😊😊😊

Great prices no doubt but the worse delivery and customer service i think i have ever experienced. Been almost 2 weeks and still have not got my order. Was suppose to be next day delivery, didnt arrive so i left a couple days and called on a Monday, was told and gauranteed it would be with my on Wednesday, didnt come, called again and they apologised and advised they didnt realise it was a BT postcode?? It took you a week to realise this? Then i was told the courier would call me and would be with me by today, low and behold nothing has arrived. I called them and was advised my details were passed to guy who handles website and he would call me back, no call has came and now when i call no one answers. Abhorrent service. And i still dont know where my products are or when they will be here.

Grade A* Tiletrader was great I recently purchased 4m2 of split face tiles from them but i made a mistake with the order (mainly picking the wrong colour) so i called them to see if there was anyway i could swap the tiles for the correct colour expecting to pay for my mistake but they told me it wasn’t an issue they had the colour in stock that i wanted and they would come and collect the wrong tile and delivery the correct ones free of charge i was so greatful and its not often that happens they was so helpful and swapped over with in 2 days of the original delivery day top company i would highly recommend and will definitely be using them in the future for other projects i have lined up

Excellent service and excellent quality of products at a reasonable price comparable against similar online firms . The goods were delivered next morning and the delivery driver called 1 hour prior to inform us of the time estimated for delivery. Thoroughly impressed!!
