Very bad customer service and really ignorant

I ordered 150 Toscanello cigars with an order value of £443.85 which stated Free Shipping (which had to be shipped from the US as it transpired).
After the order being held up by the US Postal Service for weeks I eventually received an update from the shippers that my order had reached the UK.
A few days later I got a notification through my door from Royal Mail that there was a Customs Charge to pay of £617.48 !
Tried to contact Tobaccoonline direct to the website office address and e-mail several times but no reply at all. The Royal Mail will now send my order back to ‘the sender’ as the 21 day holding time is now expired.
I’m very angry and disgusted that my valuable order has not been fulfilled and TobaccoOnline are not interested.
Not sure where to go with this but I need to warn anyone ordering through this company of my bad experience.
Tread very carefully or try a trusted company.

Ordered 27 Romeo & Juliet Churchill Reserves. Great great price, paid upfront, delivered to UK in 3 weeks and 4 days. Got tracking info on the order confirmation. Will definitely buy again from this site.

Who ever said this is a scam should delete the review. I paid was contacted confirmed order and I received the order today less than 10 days. Super fantastic service. I’m not sure how to upload a picture.

Ordered almost a month ago and after 3 weeks, the order was still in Chicago and now the order or shipping no. is not recognized by the website.
They offer after 50 days of non-delivery to re-order the product?.....not much good for Christmas.

Was a bit sceptical when I payed and ordered, nonetheless, I ordered, it took about three weeks, the tracking was fantastic, free shipping and no tax, delivered in perfect condition, considerably cheeper than anywhere else, will be ordering again. Very impressed with the business model.

Good prices, good communication, rapid and well packaged delivery. Very pleased, and will use again.

They were very quick and delivered an excellent service, they’re the only UK company supplying US tobacco these days. They ask for a bank transfer, in my experience they’re trustworthy.
I’ll definitely be using them again.

Why are their prices too low compared to other UK online prices ? Are the prices duty Free ? Do they deliver or just take the money and dont dispatch ?

It seems you can only place an order for about £250. Minimum order for pipe tobacco 1.1kg.

Seems like a wholesaler, purports to simply be an online retailer.

Have sourced elsewhere. Their customer service is very poor.

I paid with a bank card and received my beloved Phillies, and that's all that matters. Shipping time was reasonable. Can't complain.

Website is a bit difficult to navigate, and your orders actually come in from USA, but I got what I ordered, with no additional charges, in a very reasonable time. Communication was great and I'll definitely use again. Even threw in some extras as freebies, going to place another order now!

I cannot complain received the cigars I ordered a couple of days late but it was approaching Christmas.The cigars are remarkable I have some more on order. I have been communicating with a man called Paul who could not be more helpful at one point I thought I was communicating with a computer. Based on my experience I would recommend them good service good cigars. DAVID RABY..

I was interested in an offer that they had for 2 boxes of cigars for £167,but when I went to buy them the only way I could pay was by direct bank transfer,for that amount of money I would only pay by credit card and I told them that.They weren't interested and so I withdrew my interest in them.

I tried to e-mail the company for some answers as to weatherthere the prices quoted included the vat and tobacco duty, no reply so far, which has made me wonder if this company is a genuine trader.
good job I didn't place an order.
