I cannot understand the negative reviews on this website. I had my Tomtom via 62 repaired (it needed a new battery) and I have nothing but praise for the company. After my initial e-mail enquiry they telephoned me to explain how they operated. After I sent them the device for repair they e-mailed me to say they had received the device. I had been told the repair would take about ten working days. Eight working days later I received an e-mail explaining what had been wrong the device, an invoice and a note to say the device was ready for dispatch. I paid through Paypal and the device was dispatched later the same day. It arrived the next working day. When I checked the device it was undamaged and working properly.

Absolutely awful customer service - do not use.

They have now had my Garmin Edge for screen replacement since September 2024. It still hasn’t been returned to me. It’s now June 2025.

In the meantime, despite me following up numerous times by phone, email and text, I got zero response for months on end. No updates, no apology. Nothing.

I have no idea when, or even if, I’ll ever get my Garmin back, fixed or not.

Deeply frustrating. It feels like a big mistake to put my trust in these people.

Terrible communication, an awful experience.

Very pleased with the efficient service and very reasonable repair price, for my old 2014 TomTom SatNav. The onscreen keyboard now works perfectly.

I had a Garmin Fenix 6 watch that stopped working that was very old. Garmin wanted £160 for a similar replacement and I reached out to Satnav specialist to replace the battery. Easy to do, cost me £40 including special delivery. The employee Marian contacted me with watch issues and I replied, she responded very quickly, like within an hour. Also sent me detailed photos of the watch, definitely very professional from my personal experience I have the watch back it is working fine, saved me having to spend a couple of hundred on a Garmin Fenix 7. Only reason I am giving it 4 stars is the ad said similar to most customers get their items returned within 2-5 days, but it can take up to 15 working days. I did have the watch back within 10 working days, but it took the edge of it. Overall, yes they I will use them again if the need arises. Thank you

Excellent communication, I was a bit wary after previous negative reviews however my experience was very positive and Marian kept me updated with the repair at all times.
Would use again.
Garmin approach S6

Unfortunately I have had to update my positive review from the 22nd April 2025 to a negative one.
I had been told from the outset that if my unit couldn't be repaired then it would be returned for the price of postage however despite many requests by email, Marian failed to provide me with details of return postage for my Garmin S6.
My unit and charging clip have not been returned as promised and I don't appear to be the only one this has happened to.

Had problems with the mount charging port of a Trucker 6000. Could not find a new mount anywhere, so took a chance, paid 30 quid.
Sent the mount last week Saturday, and got it back the Wednesday the following week.
Plugged it in and hey presto it worked perfectly.
I have another mount with the same problems. Will send it in for repair after Easter.

Had a battery replaced in my NextBase dash cam which had a failed battery that no longer held charge. Decided to take a chance given some of the other reviews. Sent it off and got back emailed comminication that they had received it, then that they were looking at it, then that it had been repaired and posted back. Plugged it in and it works great, so no complaints from me.

Sent in my Garmin 1000 2023 after charging port broke. Was replaced and battery.
They remarked how good it was inside.
Battery failed again last summer, sent back.
They now say condition inside is poor, strange only used once on DRY day. It has never been out in the wet.
Miriam told me they have to replace inners due to corrosion!!
I have emailed left messages many many times, nothing.
Do not trust these people.

Needed a replacement battery for my beloved Garmin Dēzl 580 LMT-D. Happy to report the replacement battery arrived in good time and well packaged. Initially it wouldn't work, but it turned out I didn't install it properly. Glad I've been able to extend the life of a unit that would previously only work when wired up. Many Thanks!

Don’t use! Back in October I sent my Garmin watch to get a new battery. After couple of weeks, emailed to get update. No response. Waited another week and telephoned - apparently it was a tricky job (well don't offer it as a service then) but that my watch would soon be dispatched. After another couple of weeks texted and emailed but got no response. Eventually got a refund via PayPal but no watch.

TOMTOM RIDER 40 very professional with communicating repair costs also at what stage the repair was at! Very quick and economical repair. Very satisfied. Thank you.

My go500 was as dead as a doornail and wouldn't stay powered up.
Sent here for replacement battery and was back in 8 days fully up and running.
They kept me notified as to progress via e mails all along the way.
Very good service at a reasonable price

Horrific customer service. Marian is full of hot air. Only used once before to have battery supplied and fitted on Tom Tom and it was quick turnaround. Returned to them as the battery failed within 6 months. Sent back to this cowboy outfit around 4 weeks ago and now they won’t communicate. Initially Marian telling me she would send pictures. Total nonsense and I am now going to report to police Scotland and have them charged with theft.i also have a friend who lives close by who is going to pop in and get my Tom Tom. This is theft.!!

Outstanding value, amazing service and information. PLEASE support this company. I started to look at TOMTOM but then came across that they charge €105 euros (not even sure if this includes P&P!.

I got email updates throughout regarding status and recorded / next day delivery included return. (sent Thursday using same delivery type includes insurance £9.45 returned Saturday. Yes I did pay priority repair but all cost 44 pound from the plus my sending cost.)

TomTom wanted to sell me another device probably with a reduction if sending my old one (go 5200) BUT BEWARE latest models after 2yrs need pay subscription for speed camera and something else.

My old device has got lifetime updates - guess why they want to exchange?

Anyway this company is awesome and very reasonably priced. Please support them.

I will also post this elsewhere as I cannot praise them enough.

Complete scam sent my watch off for repair couple of emails from them saying that it was in for repair then nothing 2 months down the line and still no watch they don't answer emails,phone or voicemail avoid like the plague they just take your money and device complete scam you have been warned

Dreadful. I sent my Garmin Edge to them on 11th August and we are now two months down the line and, apart from a couple of placating emails to say they were working on it, radio silence.

This 'company' have essentially made off with my Garmin which I needed for a charity event.

I have given them plenty of chances, emailed them several times looking for updates but it's now a further three weeks since I heard from Marian.

Avoid like the plague.

Really poor service for me from this company. I sent in my Garm 530 on 14th July 2024. On 16th August I was emailed back with pictures so battery replacement was fine and everything was working fine but it would be an extra £40 to fix the cracked screen. I said no its OK i can live with the cracked screen. Then on 27th August I was emailed to say there was a problem with the display connector, that they didnt have a display connector. I emailed them multiple times asking for my broken Garmin to be returned or to get a refund and heard nothing back.

Really poor service, I planned to sell it for parts on Ebay to at least get some money back it.
They have basically stolen my Garmin and wont reply to any requests to send it back.

Wish I had sent it somewhere else, do yourself a favour and avoid them, waste of £40

With some apprehension, paid my money and sent off my broken TomTom. Brilliant service. Great comms, fixed sat nav and returned the device within a few days. I just wish I had another broken sat nav to send them. Well done SatNav Specialist.

Used this company to replace the battery in my Garmin Edge 810. I needed to replace it as only getting about 4 hours use from the device. They did a good job of replacing the battery and they turned it round in 7 days. Sadly the new battery only lasts 4 hours as well. When asked what capacity battery was used and how long it should last per charge, they said they didn't know. You would think that they would know. If 4 hours is enough for you, the service is good. If you need any longer out of your Garmin I would say don't bother. I was expecting at least a 10 hour charge, so was left disappointed.
