I had the pleasure of working with Mark McAloney as my mortgage broker, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. Mark helped me find a fantastic deal that was tailored perfectly to my needs. His dedication and expertise were evident throughout the entire process, and he made every step straightforward and stress-free. He was always available to answer my questions and provided guidance with a level of professionalism that made me feel supported from start to finish. I highly recommend Mark to anyone looking for a trustworthy and knowledgeable mortgage broker.

While Mark's service is absolutely 5 star, however, I had to give TORC24 an overall rating of only 4 stars as I did not have very good experience with admin staff who deal with phone calls and emails sent to info address of TORC24 were not dealt with at all or in a timely manner.

The TORC24 team has been a joy to work with! Such a great experience. They all gave great advice, were very efficient, knowledgeable and responded to any query I had in record time. A special thanks to Emma Vince and Aaron Barnes. TORC24 is lucky to have you!!

Everyone at Torc24 was great but Emma Vince was outstanding! The underwriting process was a
stressful however her knowledge and understanding got us to our dream home, so friendly and answered every question we had, highly recommend cannot thank her enough

The whole process was long, but kept informed every step of the way, once we put our reservation fee down and dealt with Alex to arrange our mortgage it took less than a week for an offer. Thank you so much Alex and Emma for the best news we could ever have in our lives and we will be extremely happy beyond our wildest dreams when we get our new home keys. Keep up the good work.

Torc24 was our broker for purchasing our first home. Alexander Graham was our main point of contact. From the first phone call to the last email in a span of several months, Alex and the team went out of their way, to help us understand every aspect of buying a house. We had researched it but there were many unanswered questions and the internet does not always give you clear answers. Alex was available when we needed it, there was no pushing for commitment in buying or keeping Torc24 as a broker.
All correspondence was very clear and if we did not understand something, it would be explained in simpler terms. Finding a first-time mortgage on your own is not easy, especially with all the paperwork and running around involved. We were given a list of everything that was needed from bank statements to income statements, outgoings etc and if something was missing, Alexander would give us a quick call and double check and inform us. Not a single time, over the span of nearly 4 months, did we feel pushed to speed up the process. My wife and I already have decided that, when the time comes to remortgage or find a new place, we will come back. We cannot fault this company. The reason we left our review for so long, was to see if anything would come afterwards - like a hidden fee or extra paperwork to sign etc... None of that happened. They are as advertised. Reliable, available and helpful.

Great experience from Torc24

Emma & Nicole helped us get our first mortgage. Both ere very helpful and supportive in getting the deal done. Now in our new house very happy.

I have waited until I have completed on the home I was told I couldn’t have by this company, I am now moved in!
I used Torc24 on advice as I was buying a shared ownership and it was the recommended company of the seller. Initially I thought the company was fairly good. However, after a week or so I started to be bounced around different staff members and there was zero continuity and to put it politely it was a shambles.

I was wrongly told that a mortgage could not be secured for me. I asked if I got an independent advisor could I come back to them for my shared ownership, I was told no that they had ‘tried everyone’.
Regardless I went to an independent advisor and within 3 hours I had a mortgage with the company Torc 24 had claimed they already went to. This despite there being no footprint of the company on my credit file and them saying they had had no prior applications for me.

Despite me successfully getting a mortgage Torc24 were still less than helpful and I made a complaint to Legal and General, the sellers. Once I did this L&G took over and closely monitored everything from that point on else I would likely not be in my home now.
I couldn’t understand why all of this was happening as in general the TRUSTPILOT reviews were very good. I suggest people look at all sites as there is a very different picture, especially on google reviews where people have a very similar experience to me. Review sites where they cannot barter for better reviews definitely show a stark difference to Trustpilot.

I had a very good income, a very sizeable deposit and a CCJ due to expire in 14 days, with no adverse record for the many years preceding.
If you are declined for a mortgage with this company I would urge you to get a second opinion. In two months they came up with nothing and someone did in a few hours what they couldn’t in a few months. Appalling service from start to finish.

We recently secured a mortgage for our first home with the outstanding assistance of our broker, and we couldn't be more satisfied with the experience. I do not recommend! Terrible service, takes forever to do an AIP. They are a complete waste of your time and space. Qualified us for ridiculously low amount , we however got way more higher amount from other broker and bank.

The positive reviews in my opinion are suspicious.

We were lucky to have Bianca Patel as our advisor who provided brilliant support and guidance from the beginning. Bianca was really patient, went out of her way to help and answered all our questions. She was super responsive and very knowledgeable. We used TORC24 for our new-build house purchase. Their systems and procedures are very unprofessional - for example advisors going on leave for over a week without letting us know or any out-of-office message; TORC24 switching us to new advisor and then also demanding a 12 hour turnaround time from us to provide all new documents, ID checks, extra neetings etc; not telling us all the third parties they were sharing our data with; poor and inaccurate mortgage advice. Unfortunately I cannot recommend.
