How do you tell if Moritz is a legit trader? With experience, when you have done the holy grail & trading course hunting circles.

You will only find a handful of real traders who r in mentor mode every few years. Moritz is one of them. They r v.hard to come by. As with finding a bf/gf, watch his interviews/ podcast to see if his style appeals to you before subscribing.

This course is dirt cheap. If you r trading a 50k a/c, with 1% risk/trade, it is <500usd.. this course merely costs 1R. If it seems expensive to you.. you r undercapitalised & better off NOT learning trading. Use your time & $ wisely in other endeavours!

I've been part of Tradeciety for two years now and both Moritz and Rolf are top level couches with a wealth of experience in forex trading behind them. If you are looking for top level guidance on trade management, Psychology, and designing a complete method of trading professionally, Tradeciety are tier 1.

I joined Tradeciety in early 2021 and I am very grateful for the decision I made this year. Before I joined the community I was completely lost with my trading and now I know what I need to do to take my trading to the next level.

These two traders help me in every area of trading. Swing trading and day trading strategies, how to develop a new strategy, how to write a trading plan and business plan, review and backtesting process, they recommend very good books and psychology courses that improve my personal life and trading.

They also always take time to help me with questions about trading. They have a very good understanding of trading psychology which has helped me survive in this business. And in my opinion, trading psychology is the key to success and taking responsibility for myself. Rolf and Moritz help me to go this way.

I have several decades experience in trading and Tradeciety provides by far the best training and mentoring I have seen. Outstanding and life changing!

I never regret that. visited a lot of other communities before but this one put me to another level. not only technically also mentaly, which is the importantest thing in trading. I have been with these guys for roughly 2.5 years. The majority of what I have learned is down to them. They don't blow smoke up your rear end, there's no get rich quick scheme (to my mind it doesn't exist), but if you truly want to learn to be a successful forex trader and are prepared to do the hard yards, then I personally haven't come across anywhere better. There is a lot of educational content, regular webinars, direct access to both mentors on slack, plus access to the wider community. I have been through a number of strategies with Moritz, that mainly rely on similar principles, and have now adapted this knowledge into my own trading strategy which is working for me. Without the resources that Tradeciety have offered I wouldn't be anywhere near as close to where I currently am on my journey as a trader.

I have been a member since July-August 2020. Since I have taken many of the courses Tradeciety's membership offers and I truly believe that I am a much better trader and a much better person today.

I did the trading psychology course twice, once on my own and once online, live with other community members, the journaling course, the develop your own strategy course, and the various trading courses on the trading strategies they, the owners, are using and how to apply them in the markets.

I am very grateful to be part of the Tradeciety community and I would like to thank them for giving me the tools to become better. The community is very helpful and we try to help each other as much as possible to grow together as a trading group and to individually develop in our own chosen area of trading activity.

Personal opinion, I am super happy with Tradeciety and I look forward to whatever the future will bring to us.

Very helpful trading course and private mentoring by Rolf and Moritz. This trading course changed the way I used to approach the markets. Moritz's strategies do work, and a complete beginner like me found myself on an entirely different level of understanding of the trading markets.

I can highly recommend their classes.

i am not a member but having a good reviews really helps as i have been part of communities that are monthly subscription who have a good track record and 4.8 star reviews and they can back them selves to me this looks like a scam only because if they have so many people passing ftmo or a become great traders there reviews will would be higher and they would reply to the people giving bad reviews and good reviews please don't be fooled

Usually I never write about any product experience, however as I saw so many completely untrue ratings for tradeciety.com, I wanted to give a quick statement after several years being a student:

1) It is not a scam but a serious acadamy run by two very experienced traders in my eyes!

2) Very fair pricing model compared with other online academies. Max. price for individual mentoring is currently 900.- USD / year. (Other academies will charge up to 10k USD). I started with a "testing" month for 70,- USD.

3) They provide trading strategies best applicable for the Forex market, which I could not find in the web for free. Several swing- and daytrading strategies are in scope, so one can pick out a strategy that fits to the personal lifestyle. From time to time they are developing further strategies.

4) Live Zoom sessions for trade preparation and reviews of recent market trades are provided as recording every week. Also the students can post their trades and will get a review.

5) Much more content such as Trading basics, Trading plan reviews, Journaling, Lifestyle design, Trading psychology, Book recommendations...

Lastly, even by the support of a trading academy, trading is still very very hard to learn. Tradeciety is honest with that fact. Beyond that they never show their profits in money or promise you any Lambos!

This is crazy I paid for a course that was $119 on sale but they charged me $350 what a scam DONT BUY NOTHING FROM HERE!

They are happy to take your money but when it comes to supporting you for their products you can forget it and you can kiss your money goodbye.

The PatternAlpha product is kind of OK there may be something in it in the future but the auditory alerts don't work - so unless you like staring at it all day you will miss the signals - I do not find it that helpful at the end of the day my own signals using Moving Averages seem better - they also will not give any clues how it works which does not help in understanding it - and forget getting any sort of communication out of them - their website is also badly coded which is not too inspiring.

sometimes i wonder if those two guys behind tradeciety really trade or just sell their crap courses...

I was a former member of tradeciety, I bought the course they call the RARE stock trading for 457 USD. I say former because I ended up requesting a full refund after a few weeks of being a member because of how little value I was getting.

I feel in the need to write this long review because the course cost quite some amount of money so you expect to get something good out of it and I want to warn other students about what you are really getting for their money.

The people that run tradeciety I think they are much better at marketing than trading. At first everything looks so good for us students and wannabe traders. This is taken from their website

"The Tradeciety stocks trading course is a step-by-step online course that shows you how to become a professional and profitable trader."

And then you even get to this:

"I will teach you how to recognize trends early on, then wait for a correction in price, get in with the cheapest price possible"

So this looks awesome right?, a community of traders getting together, a bulletproof method of trading with such a positive results, a trading watchlist, all you need to be a professional trader right as they say?. Well let me tell you the reality and why I think these guys are into the marketing businesss and getting as much and quick money as possible selling their quick to make low effort courses.

So this is the reality :

- The RARE stocks trading course: From their explanation you seem to get such a complete trading training. However it's a total of 31 videos and the total length of all the videos together is like a standard long film. The videos are Moritz on tradingview explaining some concepts, there is no detailed course outline or any kind of script, or formal presentation or tests. Just the guy in tradingview showing stuff.

The course is divided on:

- Classic charting principles: These are a few minutes videos where they show you some classic charting figures in tradingview. Trust me you will be better off learning them for free on stockcharts.com or a book. In stockcharts.com they are much better explained, and with more information.

- Critical price action knowledge: More of Moritz on tradingview.

- Breakout trades: How to trade a breakout, this is Moritz on tradingview showing trade ideas in the weekly and day graphs and the RRR of 3 to 1 he always says that you need. This is all done over stocks where you can see what happens after. As you can imagine that works quite well. There is no live trading or anything, or going over past real trades to see how you should react.

- Retest trades: Definition of retest.

Over the course the teacher explains how good is their proprietary method and how good results he and other students have gotten. But there is never like any formal explanation or any method explained, the whole course is just Moritz in Tradingview for 2 hours as if he is some kind of famous trading guru giving you a master class.

Some parts of the course actually follows quite closely the book of Martin J. Pring, Technical Analysis Explained. However it seems to be a dumbed down summary of the book. The book costs 50 bucks and is better explained. Mr. Pring is actually an experienced professional.

I mean their course is not too bad and you can get something out of it, but it seriously looks that it was done over one weekend and to charge 500 USD for that it's way too much. You can get so much better courses than that on udemy for a fraction of the money. Look at Corey Halliday or Hari Swaminathan

Before joining I also thought that it was also a lot of money for a course but I said well I also pay to get access to an exclusive community of traders and a watchlist, THAT is worth the price. So let's describe these two items.

- The exclusive community of traders is a forum that with their marketing gimmicks they make it look like a community of hundreds of daily active members, where you an other traders are mentored. The idea is great, the bad news are that the forum is basically dead. There is no community. If you think about It, it actually makes sense, how many people are willing to pay that much money to access their services?. Obviously not a lot, and unless the few members they have are not writing everyday then there is basically not enough users to have an alive community.

OK, so course is quite average, and for sure not worth the price, community is dead, but wait we still have the watchlist, after all a great watchlist can pay the service itself. They advertise the watchlist as a curated list of hand picked stocks. Again another good marketing slogan to recruit students. Well if what I said before is bad the watchclist is the worst part of what they offer. This is what you get:

- The watchlist is a video of 5 to 10 min going over around 5 to 10 stocks that is posted every week, so you just get one minute analysis per stock. This one minute is what they call a deep analysis. The stocks seriously seem to be chosen randomly from any world market, sector or market cap, they are chosen simply because they match any price pattern. You are better off scanning for those price patterns yourself using automatic scanners. Believe me with this, you can choose better stocks yourself looking at famous companies or using, Barrons, swingtraderbot, Finviz.com or Reddit than their randoseemingly picked stocks. To prove this, if you look at the past performance of their watchlist you get such an amount of stop losses reached that is insane. For me I found it impossible to trade on the stocks they showed with their one minute analysis.

So why do I think these guys are marketers rather than pro traders to learn from and in fact they are in the business of selling you very expensive and very quick to make training courses?.

- They make such a good and insane slogans (cheapest price possible really??), good looking website with slogans that appeals exactly to what a beginner trader needs. However behind what they are selling they simply don't have the substance. I seriously think the course I bought was done over a weekend.

- Rolf is nowadays doing a lot free videos on YouTube, I actually think they are good but always with the goal that if you want to get more and the special hidden stuff they you should pay for their course. After you pay you see that there is no special hidden stuff.

- They always sell their courses at a huge discount from 2000 USD to a few hundreds bucks. It's the same as seeing one of these luxurious knock off watches with a big discount price so they make it look like you get a bargain.

- They are always offering new kinds of new training sessions for a lot of money. I just saw that now they are selling a Singapore workshop for 1497 USD. Before that they were selling live webinar sessions for hundreds of dollars. They have just so many courses that they look like a for profit university but instead of being run by two experienced professionals is run by two sophomore students.

I am not saying they are talking non sense, but in reality they are marketers posing as real pro traders that are just in the business of selling you overpriced training with no real substance behind it.

Additionally another point I didn't like is the trouble that Tradeciety put me trought in order to get a full refund. They tried to bargain about how much refund should I get saying that half was enough since I already used their service for months (in reality it was 6 weeks), I wouldn't call that "for months". That haggle over the price didn't look too professional from them. Finally thanks to PayPal and their excellent service they were able to get all my money from them. Also as soon as I complained about getting a refund they automatically disabled my account.

They don't have too many reviews so hope this helps people that are considering them to stay away.
