Read this before buying a Roca toilet
I had a Roca Inspire Inwash toilet installed just over 2 years ago. Recently we noticed damp patches in the ceiling below which we eventually traced to a crack in a pipe that connects the close coupled cistern to the bowl. It could only be a manufacturing fault on the pipe. I contacted Roca who told me they only offer 12 months warranty on their products. For a toilet costing thousands this is more than disappointing. The part did not appear on the exploded diagram of the toilet so I could not order a replacement from a dealer. Only when I sent a photo of the part did they explain they have more detailed parts breakdowns in house and they gave me the part number. They would not sell me one, or even send me one gratis (RRP c£10) so I spent the next week trying to get one ordered which increased my frustration. Roca.es listed the part but I could not order it from there as it required an address postcode when didn't accept UK codes.
A thoroughly frustrating experience which has cost me a lot of money and inconvenience.

An indifferent customer service and low-quality product
I own a bathroom vanity cabinet that was installed by my builder. The cabinet door is delaminating and the chipboard has blown owing to poor manufacturing of the door due to unsatisfactory sealing of the plastic coat veneer.
Customer service response to my inquiry for assistance was to claim the product was out of warranty and offered no solution.
We needed to replace some screw covers…
We needed to replace some screw covers on our WC. I sent an email to customer services and within 48 hours the little grey covers were sent to me and the problem was solved. They didn't actually stock or sell these covers as a spare part but managed to find some and sent them to me.

My call was answered professionally with the "attitude" of being helpful. Having been put through to the correct department, my call was answered by Alice Talbot, what a revelation from some other companies!! Alice was so helpful. Although we conversed after my initial conversation, via email, it was as if she were in my house, guiding me.

Poor quality fixings
Poor quality fixings, we have a Roca Giralda soft close toilet seat and the lid is held on by two small self tapping screws that have broken twice, how they expect two small screws to hold the lid securely is beyond me, of course because we’ve had it over two years they don’t want to know but it’s a very poor way of fixing the lid which will sometimes be sat on and the replacement price is about £169, ridiculous amount
Rapid, no quibble resolution
Rapid, no quibble replacement of missing/damaged components on Roca Debba WC.
Two plastic components either missing or damaged. Contacted Roca direct rather than the supplier. On production of receipt they despatched replacements. I'd rather there was no issue, but when there is, there is nothing better than an excellent response, replacement parts received within 3 days.

Alice was very helpful and resolved the issue with our basin waste washer by sending us a whole waste as a goodwill gesture, which we much appreciate.
It is a pity though that Roca don't supply washers alone as the generic ones you can get from other suppliers don't fit correctly. It seems very wasteful (excuse the pun!) that you have to buy a whole new waste for a small rubber ring.
Roca debba toilet seats
Roca debba toilet seats. Absolutely awful. There's a common theme of them all cracking and absolutely not fit for purpose. We've had 2 bellway newbuilds in 7 years. All 6 seats have cracked in the same place!! 3 in our first home and the 3 in our current. I'm 95kg and my wife 50kg. Hardly overweight. My.mother in law also has just purchased a new build in March and low and behold, 1 of her seats has cracked. She's only about 50kg. It's a disgrace Roca won't replace them anymore as they're expensive rubbish!
Customer Service As It Should Be
Recently the Roca toilet seat with soft closing failed. As this was fitted back in 2012 I had to contact Roca to confirm the part number for replacement hinges to ensure I purchased the correct parts. Having purchased the parts and proceeding to fit them I discovered the seat mounting was fractured. On contacting Elliot again at Roca to ascertain the correct replacement seat number he came back to me and advised Roca would supply a replacement free of charge.
I have now fitted the seat and have a completely new set up thanks to an organisation that recognises the value of "Customer Service". Thank you Elliot!
Bath tub rusted through in just 5 years!
After just 5 years in our new build Taylor Wimpey home, fitted with Roca baths, we have a bath tub that has rusted through from underneath!
Roca blame incorrect fitting, but it can't possibly be that. Very poor attitude to what is clearly a failure of the protective coating on the underside of the bath tub.

Roca toilet leaks!
It is impossible to make Roca toilet leakless. It does not help, if the seal or the cardridge and the seal is changed. At least every second flush it leaks. Do not buy such harm for You!
