I parked my vehicle in a designated disability space and showed my disabled badge. I visited the disability office located across from the parking lot at Brent Cross shopping center.
They observed me parking over there. I talked to a staff member at their disability office helped centre, and they didn’t bring up anything about needing to show another badge or obtaining a different badge from them for parking there or to move my car from that bay because I wasn’t allowed to park there. Upon returning to my car, one of their employees approached me and informed me that I would receive a ticket for parking in that spot. When I questioned why they hadn’t told me about this while I was in the office, they simply ignored me and left. I have now been issued a £60 parking ticket because they stated I required anadditional mobility badge to park in that space.
I made an appeal to them, but I understood they wouldn’t be concerned about my worries, so my appeal was denied.
Completely unacceptable. When will retailers understand that they are jeopardizing their own businesses by permittingthis group of THIEVES to take from their customers?

Ignorant, bullying, despicable.
I received a fine, too late to appeal, for stopping in a disabled bay with a disabled badge for less than 60 seconds while I looked for the correct hotel parking bay. There was no time on the demand, there was no clear signage at the site, they have refused to answer any questions despite two emails and a letter and have referred me to a debt collection agency for £170. I am now raising a complaint with their governing body and contacting the BBC's consumer affairs department. I am contacting the CEO BEN COOKE, to explain that I have at least 8 grounds for appeal and that he should be compensating me for stressing me out at Xmas and being such a appalling company.

Disgusting company. I had an appeal with them about a parking charge, they rejected my appeal and sent me a document through email which I cannot open. The phone number attached to them is an automated service, impossible to actually speak to someone, no idea how this company is allowed to operate like this.

I submitted an appeal, received no confirmation of you receiving the appeal and have since received a final notice reminder. Your telephone number says calls may be recorded but no option allows me to speak to anyone. How do I check whether you've received my appeal? Your website contact form also doesn't send a confirmation that you've received my enquiry. How do I contact you?!

These people are corrupt thrives trying to charge me ten quid for parking at a Tesco outlet having just arrived as an overseas visitor I spent about a hundred quid in tesco, notices were absent and said customers not charged but it was dark. Why would I pay ten quid to park 40mins! Not only that I put the car in a charging bay so a parking fee of ten quid on top of 11 quid to charge your car crazy. I will never visit that tesco again. Nor any of the shops in the lot. Shops tell is they are losing to online sales is it any wonder.
I appealed with proof of custom but it looks like appeal never even read my arguments and just give a stock NO as an answer then threaten you with higher fees if you complain these are holdover/gangster tactics

Just received a parking fine of £60 because the passenger side wheels were just on the yellow line on the chequered box around the disabled bay so classed as not parked correct within the bay.
the fact i had to try to get around another vehicle to get in because they wouldn't move.

Parked in Coventry shopping out of town - over ran by 11 minutes with 88 year old dad so had a blue badge and he has mobility issues and vertigo.....totally out of order - appealed it and they declined, paid the £60 as don't have the strength to appeal further.....I don't think they care, it is just an automated horror.... wouldn't trust them to walk my dog

Made an honest mistake by overstaying the 3 hours for disabled parking. Fell into the familiar pattern others reviewers say. First letter not received. Second letter received with larger fine. Appeal raised. letter supposedly asking for more information not received. Letter closing my appeal received. Paid £171.95. No they don't stop at this. Four months later they issue a court summons despite evidencing yet again to them the fine was paid, they issued a judgement. Apparently being in hospital seriously ill is not a defence for not answering the writ when it arrived. The next part is a total abuse of the legal system. There solicitors DCB legal refused to action correspondence or telephone calls saying they have no obligation to correspond with us. Instead they carried on with the heavy tactics sending bailiffs letters. They abused the court system, caused endless distress and a feeling of total helplessness. Sent signed for letters to UK parking, Dcb legal they just ignore you. Happy to say the abuse of the legal system has just cost them £2,000. Maths lesson UK parking correct your mistake would have cost you £14 to resolved. Your arrogance cost you £2,000. They rely on pressure tactics not the law so others don't be afraid to stand up to them.
Fined for doing my job
Went to do a delivery in west Molesley, couldn't park/reverse into their property due to cars they are working on so I had to park outside in the cul-de-sac, next to my delivery site.
Wasn't there for no more than 3 mins and turns out that's enough to warrant a ticket!!!!!
What happened to a 10 mins waiver stopping time? Unload and loading time? Company I work for have to foot the bill but seriously, getting fined for doing a job and not being a nuisance to anyone or anything in that particular area? Money robbing, scammy sods. Companies like UKPC give other a bad rep and ruin this country even more than it already is!

i appealed my parking fine of £60 as the car next to me had parked over the white line . so making me go over which was not intrusive as it was a kerb next to me not a path just a island . so not dangerous or obstructive. i wrote my appeal to uk pc , still to today no answer on my appeal. just a debt recovery firm zzps demanding £170 , this cannot be legal as stated when you appeal that you will receive a disition and you will be allowed to pay the original penalty charge .is this a con or legal practice . very distressing to say the least .
