Can not fault this company, super quick and happy to help with any queries. I was dealing with Greg and he has been brilliant and very helpful. Also Matthew dealt with our move in appointment and again can not fault extremely helpful.

Mike in UK Rooms For Rent always provided speedy responses to my emails. When working on the front line I really appreciated their speedy and efficient service. On one occasion the boiler broke in the house. I rang Mike during my lunch break and he sent someone out to fix it that evening. There was also an emergency out of hours service that I used. Used these guys to sort out a university house for second year. Great customer service right from the start, easy to communicate with and always quick to respond to any emails or queries we had during the process. Group of top class guys that are very polite and easy to talk to. Would definitely recommend them.

Unfortunately didn't end up with a room from them (not the company or staff members fault) but the customer service was stella from the start. Unlike other companies, they also returned my holding deposit almost immediately, allowing me to continue looking without delay. 10/10, will consider again.

UK Rooms For Rent Ltd have been my letting agents for a number of years now. I have been very impressed with their service, and as time has progressed I have moved all my portfolio over to them for full management. Mike Boardman has been a pleasure to work with and has dealt with every issue that has arisen in a professional and speedy manner. I am a big fan of all the team at UKRR and would recommend them highly to other investors.

I lived in one of their houses in Salford, the house itself wasn’t that bad but the price they charged was way too high. The quality of their service was terrible, whenever we had an issue they took ages to respond and the system they used (I can’t remember the name of the app) was completely useless no issues were dealt with. We had mice, damp and a leak from one of the showers. None of these issues were sorted for over 2 weeks after each was raised with the agents. The account manager who I won’t name was always reasonably friendly in person and whenever you could get hold of him on the phone but over email was short and sometimes rude.
If you do want a good agent in Salford look at Thorpe and co. They were easily the best landlords I’ve dealt with in my four years at the uni of Salford and couldn’t recommend highly enough.

We moved into a property in August and there have been quite a few issues. Oven broken, bottom step fell through... Electric fire broke and more recently our boiler broke. And although I have been frustrated at the issues; Mike Boardman who manages our property always manages to get the repairs done quickly; which when your landlord is not UK based cannot be an easy feat. Especially when I am flapping because my child suffers with her chest in cold weather. When our boiler broke he arranged for us to stay in a hotel; including our pets to ensure we was warm and had hot water until it was fixed. Extremely grateful for all the help.

So when I first contacted this company, the person helping me was very helpful and tried to get me into the house I wanted but unfortunately there were some issues with the landlord taking me in because I have a service dog for a disability. However, I spoke to the manager who was very adamant about assisting me in finding a place to live that was within my budget and easy for my SD, and they did! The process was very quick and all of the employees were very helpful and friendly. The company is more than happy to assist disabled folks and internationals as well. Grateful to have found this business as so many others in the area provided little to no help for me since I have a SD.

Very happy with the speed of the move in from viewing only a week earlier. Property was everything I wanted, the agent (Matthew) was always on time, polite and informative. Would recommend to my friends.

Everything was perfect I think they have to improve the time is needed to rent a room but as an excuse for my wanting probably is that was my first time renting a room in UK.

Very bad..there was no electricity once my cousin started staying in their accommodation.made many calls and messages,there was no replay and exactly at 17.00 they closed their office.and there was no answer to their emergency number as well!!!!!. Interestingly very keen on their paper works.worst ever service...

When I was first looking or a room in Lancaster a lot of the listings on Uk Rooms for Rent were already taken however they told me about a property not yet listed but was being refurbished. When I moved in it was around 90% complete. I have been dealing with Mike Boardman since I moved in with regards to any issues I've had/getting the house fully finished and the service has been excellent. Always a quick response to my issues and it's always resolved in a couple hours/that working day. My experience with UK Rooms for Rent has been brilliant and since moving in I have 0 complaints.

Unorganised, they handled the viewings separately. One cancelled theirs an hour before but no update on the others. After I went to view turns out they were cancelled too.

We have found UK rooms form rent disorganised an money grabbing to an absurd degree.
After an agreement to transfer a holding deposit to a different property was made they reneged on the agreement and withheld the deposit when THEY double booked the room and could not fulfil the contract.

Throughout 2019/20 I rented a student property with UK Rooms for Rent and the agency could not have been more helpful if they tried. They are well organised and always on top of liaising with their tenants, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. Particular thanks to Mike for making my first year renting as easy as possible and for being an obliging property manager.

The process of renting from this agency was one of the most pain free experiences I have had renting. Everything was online which sped up the whole process. The communication was good and they helped us with the tight time frame we had.

Many thanks to Peter and Matthew who got me through such a stressful process. As an international student, I had to go through 3rd party agencies to apply for a guarantor and even though I have faced many inconveniences during that application, Matthew was always ready to help and answer my questions. One of the better agencies I have used.

With the current regulations surrounding COVID, I was a bit worried about doing viewings but UKRR offered a safe and helpful guide for the viewings. Matthew Cooke was very informative and helpful when it came to getting around the viewings.

Mike Boardman and Peter Baker at UKRR are part of the great team who manage my rental property. They do a fantastic job and look after both tenants and landlords really well
