Meeting One
Only had the one meeting so far but that went well he seemed to answer a lot of the questions I required, looked quite promising. We'll see how it goes moving forward.

Pension plan
I wasn't sure how soon I needed to get a pension plan in place or what I needed to do in order to get a plan. The lady I spoke with was very informative and answered all my questions. Turned out it was too early for me to make a plan now but intend phoning back nearer the time. As I work office hours the lady took the time to phone me back in the evening when it was more convenient for me.

Reassured me I'm dealing with a trusted company
The consultant asked me some questions which demonstrated their knowledge.
They talked about previous global financial incidents that have affected the investment market (Covid, Ukraine war etc) demonstrating why it's important to keep a vigil eye on everything and not to sit back and ignore things.
Finally, they highlighted the importance of being vetted by their industry in comparison to websites like 'trustpilot' which I found very helpful in reassuring me they are a trusted, secure company to work with.

Great service
I was matched with a local adviser Alex Oneal. I wanted a pension released into drawdown but as it was an old pension it was a complicated affair. Alex did an excellent job of releasing my pension and setting up a wrapper which i am delighted with. A thoroughly professional and excellent service, i cant rate highly enough.

the independant advisor still has…
the independant advisor still has preferred partners that they are highly likely will push me towards, and then transfer my pension funds towards them so thay can get 0.8% of the fund every year. This is staggeringly expensive 1 hour a year advice!!
