Finally...
Finally on the 4th attempt we now have our carpet fitted.
1st attempt the carpet was cut 1/2 a metre too short
2nd attempt large lines going across the one end
3rd attempt lines going across the whole carpet
4th attempt so far so good
All of the above were not down to united carpets this is all to do with the carpet manufacturer.
The only good thing that has come out of this fiasco was Matt the carpet fitter you can't fault him on his work.

JUsed to rely on United, but after this experience, never again. Was quoted a price, went back the next day, and suddenly it was 20% higher. Staff just shrugged it off saying they ‘forgot.’ Completely unacceptable service
*Edit* yes it was a roll end and the staff agreed to match the roll end price if it sold. I would rather use the worlds worst 2nd hand flooring than support your company again

After speaking to the store I understand that when you first visited the store you had been quoted for a roll end you liked, however upon visiting again the roll end had since been purchased and therefore had to choose a different product.

In store service was second to none. Staff went above and beyond to assist me even arranging for carpet fitters to dismantle my existing bed ready for delivery of new one the following day. It would have been a 5* review had it not been for third party issues on taking delivery and putting together of new bed which has now got to be exchanged.

Stairs and landing fitting1
The staff in the store were very helpful and friendly. We had to change the door grippers on the order prior to the fitting and this was not a problem. The fitter arrived at the time stated and discussed any issues with the process prior to the fitting.He was quick and did a quality job, was very friendly and helpful.

Excellent Service & Great Experience
I recently purchased flooring from United Carpets and was really impressed from start to finish. The team were friendly, helpful, and very informative — nothing was too much trouble. I had a small issue after installation, but it was dealt with quickly and professionally. The finance process was also quick and easy, making everything stress-free. I’m delighted with the result and would definitely recommend United Carpets to anyone looking for great products and outstanding service!

Expensive underlay but poor quality, lots of hard bits in the mix that you can feel when walking on it.
Not worth paying for underlay to get the fitting.
