Great carpet and excellent carpet fitter. Saved hundreds on buying an offcut. We looked afterwards and what cost us £320 would have been over a thousand

Brilliant company, used them several times now. Always great prices, staff are brilliant, fitters are always on time and some times arrange to come early, always clean and tidy. Cant fault them in anyway.

I was happy with the carpet, the price and the workmanship

Sales person, Stephen, was really helpful, knowledgeable and keen to offer assistance and support.

Assistant was welcoming, attentive and listened to what I wanted. He was pleasant and polite and efficient.

Good priced carpet, and well fitted. A smaller time window for fitting would have been nice, but not that big a deal.

There was a problem but it was resolved to my complete satisfaction by the store.

Fantastic advice and carpet selection. Team came to measure up followed by an arranged fitting to suit our commitments. The fitter was absolutely brilliant! Professional, worked so hard to have the carpets fitted perfectly. We had a living room carpet followed by a staircase and landing. The results have literally transformed our home!
Great price, and we were able to support local business.
If we need more carpets (in bedrooms) we will use this company again without a second thought!

Assistant Stephen was friendly & helpful in store. We chose the carpet & underlay and he came out to measure up the next day. We booked a day for fitting and the whole process ran smoothly. Happy with the service and the goods.

Very helpful in the shop and when ordering. The only criticism is that our order was left off the delivery so it was delayed. However, the shop was very quick to call and inform me of the issue and make a new delivery date. Very pleased with the finished product.

100% attentive and so helpful, nothing was too much for them, the fitters who came were also very good and respectful of the property (always make tradesmen a brew and feed biscuits) have used before, now, and will again. Great job.

The guys in the store at United Carpets in Sleaford are second to none. Nothing was to much trouble. They even stored our carpets and flooring whilst building works were being completed until we were ready to install.

From my experiance, coming out and measuring up to make sure all was correct, to final fitting they were on the ball, helpfull and a pleasure to use.

Adam the fitter I was sent was very competent and cares about his work as if it was his own house.

I would 100% use them again and cannot recomend highly enough the service they provided.

Excellent staff , very polite and kept us up to date on all information regarding our carpet and floor fitting. Would highly recommend united carpets to anyone wanting high quality flooring for a good price and fitted with a high quality of attention to detail.

Everything went smoothly from start to finish. From the quotes to laying the carpet. Friendly staff. Wonderful service.

We required carpet for 2 bedrooms and our stairs and landing. Having used United Carpets before we went to the Sleaford branch for a quotation. We chose 'Ashton' carpet at £8.99 per sq m and took advantage of the free fitting deal by buying underlay. We was surprised that the underlay was priced at £9.99 per sq m.
We were served by Simon. I had taken my own measurements.
Bed 1 was 3.9m x 4.1m
Bed 2 was 3.2m x 3.3m
Landing was 2.3mx 1.3m
Stairs were 0.8m x 6m being 11no risers and 11no treads at 0.25m + a little for waste.
I was completely baffled when Simon worked out the Sq metreage required and lengthy discussions ensued.
Simon had suggested that
Bed 1 required 4.2m x 4m (fine)
Bed 2 required 3.3m by 4m ??
Stairs and landing 4.4m x 4m ????
He couldn't see that he had well over estimated and was insistant that he was correct. My wife and I sat in the car for over half an hour going over his calculations trying to make sense.
We eventually went back into store totally confused and somehow ended up ordering the carpets, still not happy but accepted wavering the additional stair fitting charge., and ended up paying £1000 all in.
Come fitting day, the fitters arrived and done a very good job however we were left with so much unwanted carpet, estimated to be over 10sqm, vertually another rooms worth except we weren't left with the equivalent in underlay, none was left.. Given that we paid £19 per sq m we overpaid £200 more or less for carpet and underlay that wasn't required.. We felt cheated, it seems to us that it's just a way of bolstering up figures for salespeople to meet targets or increase their commissions.. So overall we were not happy with the feeling of being done.. The carpet and fitting was and is good.
