United Carpets & Beds - Stockton-on-Tees Reviews 

The new floors and carpets were spot on. Due to delays because of circumstances out of my control I received a reduction in the overall price.
They are friendly and answered any queries I had.

After purchasing 3 lots of carpets from the store and was very impressed we decided we would then order a bed and mattress which wasn’t a great experience. We were made aware that the bed could take up to 3 weeks which we accepted. After 2 weeks I received a voice voicemail after missing a call asking me to ring back to arrange a date for collection which I did. A date was arranged for 10th September. I arranged time off work as they didn’t give me a morning or afternoon slot. On the day of delivery I rang central office to ask if they had any idea of a time slot to which they said they had no record of the bed and mattress being delivered and they were waiting for me to ring them to arrange! This wasn’t the case. I had the date given to me and was expecting it that day. The girl I spoke to said she couldn’t do anything about it and I must have spoken to her colleague who hasn’t logged the call she offered me another date of a week later which wasn’t acceptable as I could not take any more time off work. In the end I rang the shop in Stockton to help which they did and went out their way to get me the items sooner. They arranged for central office to drop the bed at Stockton on the Monday night and the guys in Stockton would come and make the bed up for me.
Then after unwrapping the bed they had the wrong headboard which I then had to wait another day for them to arrange to bring the correct one. I want best pleased. All in all this would put me off buying from you again although I must say the team in portrack were amazing and helped as best they could to put things right. The phone call I had with head office I got the impression they didn’t care and didn’t seem to want to help much with the situation!

From the second I walked into the shop the lads knew exactly what I wanted, I was previously quoted the same carpet for 6x the price I was given at United. I couldn’t believe it, I was slightly apprehensive to see what the job would turn out like given the price difference, but I was blown away everything from service to fitting!

Really happy with the customer service friendly, welcoming when walking in. Choosen a carpet good price happy to take a dispoit paid balance when Rearranged the fitting of the carpet on a convenient date. pleased customer thank you Stockton on tees Branch

The service was excellent throughout my visit greeted with a smile i wasn't rushed if I needed help they were there. They helped me with payment plans that suited my pocket Both members of staff were great brilliant service.

Great service. Andy who completed the sale was really knowledgeable and explained everything. The carpet fitters were organised and worked tidily. Great service all round. Price was a bargain!

The staff were really friendly and knowledgeable....we also had a good laugh with them during the sale.

Carpet lovely, was told i would be fitted with a door bar to en suite but wasn't also joiner never turned up to plane door. Would never recommend your company as don't get what's promised

Very helpful & pleasant gave us a few choices in the measurements we needed and they were very good price wise , all in all very satisfied with the products that were purchased

Really happy with this company very prompt and professional service. I was let down by Franks factory flooring and fortunately United Carpets came to the rescue. Will be using them again.

Even though we didn't buy, Andy and Mark were absolutely amazing. They were welcoming, friendly, and not pushy. They were very knowledgeable. The advice and guidance was second to none. They did not want us to rush in and buy a product until we had decided what we really wanted as we couldn't decide. Thank you so much ☺️

Excellent customer service from Andy, Mark & Dave.
When entering the Stockton branch we were greeted with a very warm welcome from these lovely guys.
They were so knowledgeable and guided me through the type of flooring I would need for our kitchen & hall.
Dave came to our home & measured the kitchen & also brought samples of flooring I had already chosen so I could see what they would look like in the kitchen & hall, again very knowledgeable.
I would highly recommend United carpets a fabulous company thank you so much!

Great team in the store straight to the point just how a like it

Mark was great he advised on what would be best to put down in a busy office. It came at great price and the fitting team were great also i highly recommend united carpets.

Carpet fitter was rude - he rang with 20 minutes notice after I was told he would let me know the day before. Fitted carpets that were the roll end (didn’t pay £2,700 for a roll end and fitter should have known they were all roll ends ) and each room had marks on which Dave came out twice to look at. Dave and Andy have been really good. They then sent Renew out to look at the marks and then now they are replacing all the carpets on Friday. It was easy for the fitter the first time as rooms were empty with no doors on as we are not living in the house at the moment but since getting the carpets fitted we have started to move things in therefore the fitter will have to move things. Also when they fitted them they marked all my walls and paintwork meaning I’ve had to pay a decorator to touch them all up.
Not a good experience but hopefully they are ok on Friday.
