Absolutely terrible landlords - avoid at all costs
I am extremely disappointed with the level of service and unresolved issues at Botanical Mews development, in a property where Vastint is the landlord. For the high rent and premium fees, you would expect a well-maintained building and professional service. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience.
On September 17th, I received explicit approval from management for a second set of keys for my girlfriend, provided it was returned within 24 hours. However, when I attempted to collect the keys on October 29th, the concierge flatly refused to release them. Even after showing the original email approval and getting the permission reconfirmed that day, he still refused to help. This led to a frustrating waste of time and caused significant unnecessary stress.
To make matters worse, the concierge responded in a confrontational and dismissive manner when I tried to explain that this issue had already been cleared by the landlord. It’s deeply disappointing to experience such unprofessional behavior in a supposedly high-end property.
The landlords were unresponsive when I contacted them to resolve the issue.
Additionally, there are several ongoing unresolved issues in the building that Vastint has yet to address. The car park gate has been malfunctioning for weeks, adding to the inconvenience for residents. Another issue is the fire control panel at the main entrance, which constantly emits a loud beeping sound, directly outside my apartment. This issue has been going on for some time.
There is also an active rodent problem, which has not yet been dealt with, as well as garbage overflow.
For a property of this standard, I would expect much better attention to maintenance and a more professional approach from the concierge team. Unfortunately, Vastint has not lived up to the expectations set by the high costs associated with living here.
