We booked 3 tours to coincide with stops on our cruise with NCL. The meeting arrangements were straightforward and the guides on time. Each of our guides - Nicole, Tansu and Iryna were knowledgeable, spoke perfect English and very good company. We had booked group tours but we ended up having them just to ourselves so excellent value for money. Each of the guides were happy to adapt the tour to our needs and answered all of our questions. The vehicles were clean, reliable and air conditioned. Overall I couldn't fault the experience and would definitely book them again for future cruises.

If you make human mistakes
If you make human mistakes, this might not be the company to use. Between my travel agent and myself, we double booked an excursion and didn’t catch the mistake until they picked us up for the excursion. The excursion itself was wonderful, but it was not worth double the price. When I attempted to contact venture ashore, they were not pleasant understanding or helpful. We will not use them again and I will not recommend them to friends and family. i’m sure I will get some AI generated Sorry about your bad luck response.

When you contacted us, our team looked into every aspect of your booking and did everything we could to see if there was a solution. We found that the duplicate reservation had been made under two different names and made on two different booking dates, one in March and one in May. Because of this, there was no way for us to identify it as a duplicate before the day of the tour.
Unfortunately, by the time the duplicate booking came to light, the seats had already been held for your reservation and it was too late for us to resell them, so we weren't able to offer a refund.
We completely understand that this was disappointing, and while we couldn't change the outcome in this instance, we did carefully investigate every point raised in an effort to help. We're pleased that you had a wonderful time on the tour and wish you all the best with your future travels. The Venture Ashore Team

We had a very nice itinerary n clear instructions with the help of Corey Bell. She had been very patient in listening to our requests .There was a tour guide who wasn’t very helpful with our passengers who have mobility problem n had been promoting his company not Venture Ashore. Excellent service. Easy to locate the guide at the port entrance and then a very interesting and enjoyable full day excursion to both Florence and Pisa including a mix of guided tours and plenty of free time. The guide (Marti) was very engaging and her knowledge certainly added to the trip. This was our third excursion with Venture Ashore and all have been of the highest quality.

he was knowledgeable, friendly and made the tour absolutely GREAT
In Hoonah we toured with Cora Roberts who is a 3rd generation native, not only did we see brown bears, birds, a martin & an ermine but she was so very knowledgeable about all the trees and plants and habitat she made our tour WONDERFUL!
in Juneau we did the glacier with Lori Lee, she was fun, knowledgeable & friendly then we boarded the boat for whale watching with Russell, Mia & Panner, they were super helpful, we saw whales & sea lions and even saw a whale breach - it was amazing they made our tour delightful!

I booked a group excursion for 44 people in Izmir Turkey for our port stop on a cruise. It was our best excursion of our entire cruise. Our group specialist Olivia Rapisand was amazing and very helpful. Our tour guide contacted us with our meeting point which was very easy to find. We had 4 vans to for all of our guests and the vans followed each other the entire time and kept our group together. Our guides were very friendly and informative. The transportation vans were clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend this tour.

I had an excellent experience arranging shore excursions and related travel logistics through this service.
From start to finish, the communication was clear, prompt and highly professional. In particular, Triin was outstanding - consistently responsive, detail-oriented, and proactive in ensuring that everything was correctly organised, including accessibility arrangements and excursion coordination.

Excellent experience for Cruise onshore excursions
We used venture ashore for onshore excursions on our western Mediterranean cruise. It was a very smooth booking process, with Excellent guides and very flexible private tours at each destination.

I am a seasoned Travel Agent that specializes in cruises. I had a small last-minute group on a Greek Isles cruise...
I worked closely with Olivia, who was fabulous!
She was very detail oriented and very patient with all the changes that this small group made.

*private airport pick up w/transfers to cruise port of Civitavecchia
* Santorini- Private Megalochori Village & Oia Tour
* Kusadai Turkey- Private House of Mary, Ancient Ephesus and Temple
* Naples- Amalfi Coast Highlights: Sorrento, Positano & Amalfi
*Rome- Private port pick up with Rome Highlights Tour (we made it our own) with hotel drop-off

The private Guide & Driver were awesome!
The private driver was professional, the guide exceptional and the walk was adjusted for abilities. The guide also helped us find a lost item, and patiently waited while all of the group moved through customs in Amsterdam. We had 11 in our group, and would definitely use again.
