Frustrating… We’ve used VignetteShop previously with no issues, but something has gone wrong recently.

We ordered a German Emissions Sticker on 18/03, with an expected delivery of 7 days. 21 days later, it is yet to arrive.

Customer Service (Paul, business founder apparently) was rude and dismissive when issue was raised, and did not offer either a resolution or delivery timescale update.

When pushed, simply went silent.

Seemed unconcerned about the prospect of either a complaint via the online platform, or a chargeback via bank. Sent patronising comments in return.

Best avoided, there are other providers of European emissions permits out there - a quick search should provide results.

Absolutely awful. Do not buy from this shop. I ordered a swiss vignette mid Nov. They claim to have posted on 1st Dec but but 20th it hasn't arrived (and now too late). As below, customer service was dismissive and rude. They won't answer my questions about a refund. Is it just a total scam?

I saw quite a few disgruntled reviews and got a bit antsy if I'm honesty but I shouldn't have worried. It came within 3 days and I am happy with the result.

I ordered a German Emissions Sticker (order #27644) on 24 July 2025. According to the website and the order confirmation, delivery time should have been 1 week.
It’s now well past that – the item has never arrived.

I contacted the seller via WhatsApp, but the only response I got was that it “might arrive sometime” or “be returned to them” – with no offer of alternative shipping or a refund.
My trip, for which I needed the sticker, will take place before they can send anything, so the product has become useless.

This whole experience has been stressful, disappointing, and highly unprofessional. The conversation with their customer service was unhelpful, unprofessional, and very dismissive towards me as a customer.

I paid £14.75 and expect either delivery within the promised timeframe or a refund – neither has happened. I have now reported this case to Citizens Advice Consumer Service so that they can escalate it to Trading Standards.

I do not recommend this seller, especially if you need the item delivered within the timeframe advertised on their website.

With only a week to get a German emission sticker which I only just realised I needed, I was a bit concerned. But it was a seamless service and arrived by post 3 days after ordering. Very pleased and would recommend.

Super fast postage (under 48 hours to the UK for a German emissions sticker), great customer service (emailed after order about a
V5 discrepancy and they replied within a few minutes). However, for those complaining that it costs more than buying it directly - of course it does. Companies have to make a profit or how can they exist - and this takes the stress out of working out multiple websites, paying in 2 different currencies etc.

Would use them again, happily.

Ordered German Emission sticker on Tuesday at 3pm. email confirming posted at 5pm. Received on Thursday.
So easy, not having to share the V5 document.
Not sure why so many negative reviews, but shall use again for my French sticker

At first I was thinking is this a good idea after reading the one star reviews of this site but I took a chance and all the one star reviews are wrong I found the site vignette shop to be excellent yes you pay more but it is the convenience that you are paying for especially if you live in a different country and not good with bureaucratic red tape I have dyslexia among other disability’s and this service has been invaluable everything was translated well into English and simple to understand where as on main eu sites government controlled it is confusing especially if your relying on a third party google translate just to read it
I was able to look up what I needed on vignette shop easily and process an application easy
I sent them what they needed and they did all the rest so I didn’t have to (great)

I ordered the French 🇫🇷 and German 🇩🇪 emission stickers I allowed a month before my trip for them to arrive

Items turned up in two weeks ( Again Great)

I am very thankful to the staff at vignette shop for processing my applications to the French 🇫🇷 and German 🇩🇪 governments on my behalf I know I could have got this cheaper if I had gone direct but I don’t mind the extra cost because I know it’s being sorted for me so I don’t have to

I ordered a German Emission Sticker from Vignetteshop on the 15/03/23. It was posted from The Netherlands the following day and it was with me in Glasgow, UK on the 21/03/23 (which also includes a weekend in between).

A great service and definitely not a Scam for me.

Total Rip Off. I ordered and payed for a Vignette for Germany.
I never received it. I had to cross the German towns without this vignettes!! And receive a fine for that...
They just reply they can not do anything because it's the fault of it supplier.
No possibility of refund or to resend the product.
Was bought in 28/10/21 but after a year of trying to get my refund...I now work on the right publicity for us!

If I could give no stars I would. I allowed 25 days for an item that was quoted 7 - 10 days. It has not arrived and I leave later today. Not only have I wasted good money, I now have to buy a replacement at the border. When I emailed for a status I was told that it was obviously a mail problem however I received a French Crit air sticker from another provider within a few days. Honestly take my advice and do not waste your money!!.

Ordered a vignette on line, did not arrive so had to buy one at the border. They refused to refund me and keep ignoring my emails or writing back saying i will get a refund when the vignette is returned. I wish i had read previous reviews before ordering. Its easier to buy ( cheaper) at the border. The site is a scam - DO NOT use it

I'm happy with the service I've had after buying a Swiss motorway vignette from Vignetteshop.
The advantage of buying in advance is that you avoid delays at the border - and buying in advance will involve paying an admin fee.
Vignetteshop are up front about that cost - unlike other providers where the admin fee appears at the last minute in the checkout process. And the fee vignette shop charge is reasonable - especially in comparison with the official Swiss tourist website who now charge a whopping £20.

It's true that you need a clean air sticker to drive in most cities of France or Germany so ~I googled it for each country
In each case Vignetteshop came at the top of the list but
Scolling down you will find the French or German government websites (less obvious)which have pages in English
For France the cost of a vignette €3.67 + postage
Vignetteshop charge £18.50
For Germany the cost is €4.51 + post
Vignette shop charge £14.50
They also charge £45 for a Swiss motorway sticker which you can easily buy on the border for 40 Swiss francs which is around £31.30
Last year I bought the French and German vignettes from their government websites and postage was very reasonable and at cost. I received provisional paper ones to print out and display inside my windscreen and the actual vignettes arrived within a week.
If people prefer to pay middle men high prices for something that they can just as easily do for themselves its up to them. I think it's important that they know that Vignetteshop are nothing more than middle men out to make a profit
