We used Viking surveyors for a RICS Level 3 survey on the property we are in the process of purchasing. The process, from start to end, was seamless and dealt with efficiently. There were no issues booking the survey in and no delay in receiving the report. Any communication we had with Viking was excellent and no delays in replies. We would recommend if you want a property survey carried out.

They did a very detailed survey for our purchase. Helping us to know what maintenance would be needed. The report came out a few days after the survey

Excellent experience with Viking Surveyors. The turnaround time on the report was fast (just one day!), which really helped keep the process moving smoothly. The report itself was extremely detailed and thorough, giving clear explanations throughout and highlighting everything in a way that was easy to understand.

The staff member I spoke to on the phone was very helpful, and the survey was booked in quickly, with the date of the survey being shortly after I instructed Viking. Very detailed report by Ed, shared a lot of information about the structure of the property, honest and good fair assessments, the report gave us a very good indication the the property and has allowed us to raise additional queries. Well worth the money!

This is the third time I've used them as they're very detailed with their reports and their prices are very competitive as well. Only thing I'd say is I feel the timeframe given for sending the report back is quite long, and they don't send it any sooner than what they put on the email, so I'd look into improving timings on that sense. Other than that, they do a great job.

Viking Surveyors carried out a level 2 House Buyer report on the property I was in the process of buying and which I have since moved into! Thanks to their highly professional, detailed, easy to follow and helpful report, I had the recommended electric and asbestos surveys carried out. Their communication was excellent every step of the way. I absolutely highly recommend Viking Surveyors should anyone need a house buyers survey!

Complete waste of money. Paid for level 3 survey and all I got is a guy with a moisture reader saying that some walls are above average and that the windows look square to the eye... doh'. I also asked them to check for the roof on my quote and they didn't.

He also refused to have a follow-up call after I tried call him 3 times. He played dumb.

I guess they just outsource people but anyway, it feels like they are not prepared for this. It's just random guys filling out a PDF.

Maybe there are good surveyours out there, but this one... I rather suggest to get a builder with experience to check it out.

We have a great experience using viking surveyors, it's extremely detailed with a lot of key points we wouldn't have thought about without your knowledge.

The survey came through within the timescale provided and it was very clear and easy to understand.

The Viking Surveyors team were really efficient; a survey was booked the day after our referral. An agent called us to explain the process for the survey and took down any specific concerns we had. The final report was really comprehensive and should allow a renegotiation in our purchase price based on the findings from the survey.
My only observation is that the Moving Portal is a little over the top. We received regular messages about the progress of the survey and the final report was sent via email, so we didn’t actually use the portal.
