There’s quite a big choice of experiences to choose from, but once I’d chosen it was quite easy to book, you do have to follow the process exactly of course. Best thing is that the site is full of things you might. It have thought of to do.

I needed to make a change on my voucher and was unable to do it on line. I emailed using a link and a very helpful lady Olga responded and organised the changes for me.

Voucher experience error message
I had a small issue, where I couldn’t access my voucher experience. I sent a watsapp. And it was resolved in an hour.
Difficult to navigate
I found the website difficult to navigate. At one point I had 4 experiences ordered and needed to cancel everything and start again.

My voucher for a 1 night getaway for 2 had unfortunately expired by a couple of weeks (my fault entirely), but I contacted Virgin by email to see if there was anything I could do about it. Caryn replied very promptly and was so helpful . For a very small extension fee she was able to issue me another voucher with a six month validity. So our break is still on, many thanks to Caryn and Virgin Experience.!
Disingenuous marketing style...
Had a disappointing experience with Virgin Experience Days today. I selected a discount at checkout and didn’t realise it signed me up to a “MemoryMakers+” yearly *paid* subscription. On me for missing it in the first place but the design makes it very easy to overlook. These things are usually made more obvious instead the whole block is bright pink smh.
Cancelling was even more frustrating. Instead of them making it simple I was pushed through account setup and help pages and a chatbot then had to go through a contact form.
Their terms also say “we can cancel this within 14 days of purchase! However to cancel your subscription we will need to cancel and refund your entire order.” But support emailed offering to just switch off auto renewal and let me keep the order and discount. That contradicts their own policy and made the whole run around feel very intentional.
I’ve cancelled everything and will think twice before using them again. Double check before accepting any discounts. I found the same deal through Red Letter Days and their site doesn’t try to push you into a paid subscription.
The extra star is for the quick refund but I wasted time overall for something that should be so simple.

Confused and frustrated
I was very confused by the whole process. Although it’s free to have the voucher sent electronically a charge was added to the final amount and I don’t know what it was for. You also offered me a further 20% off when I didn’t complete my order the first time. This did not work when I entered the code you gave me. Very frustrating

The restaurant was lovely
The restaurant was lovely, the food delicious, the staff were friendly and efficient and didn't make us feel like we didn't belong even taking us into the kitchen to meet Theo! The whole experience was awesome and I would highly recommend 👌

I was bought 2 vouchers for ABBA Voyage as a Christmas present. Once I decided which date to go I found I couldn’t book on the virgin website. I emailed the admin team and found that as it was a VIP experience, the website wouldn’t allow me to book. Beth from Virgin was amazing and managed to book my experience, kept me up to date with several emails, she did an amazing job. I am very much looking forward to ABBA. Thank you Beth

Much cheaper to just buy a ticket on the day
This was a gift for my Dad's 60th birthday, the trip was meant to come with breakfast but when he enquired about this he was just sent to the shop at the station. Once they were on the train and seated, they were made to move seats in a different section of the train without clarity of reasons; their ticket clearly showed they were sitting in the right place. The trip was advertised as being 60 minutes but actually lasted for half that time.
The ticket prices at the station were so much cheaper than we paid for this voucher- I feel completely ripped off. Regardless they had a lovely time but it is not the experience I had wanted for him.
