Vitamix VM0200/E320 after some years
In the summer of 2019, I paid $350 u$d for a VM0200 (mexican model I think) in Costco Mexico. The comparable model is the E320. It has been used about 250 times per year making fresh fruit smoothies, creaming coffee with almond flour, and preparing thick hummus. It has been nosily, and powerfully mixing for six years now.
BUT, within two years, I discovered the 64 oz. polycarbonate jar was wearing away where the blades throw things against the sides. I hope eating polycarbonate is not a health concern.
AND the other thing I despise, is that after two years, the black ‘silicon’ handle on the jug began decomposing, or otherwise developed a sticky surface that cannot be washed off. I have to wash my hands after picking up the jar by the handle.
FALSE INFORMATION GIVEN BY VITAMIX - DODGY COMPANY
On the 25 December 2024 I left a negative review on Vitamix UK and never had any response obviously because they are too guilty after the false information I was given by email to my compatible product question email I asked Vitamix UK. So I am now complaining to you for manufacturing an accessory which is not compatible to every A3500i blender when Vitamix UK said it was compatible with my A3500i blender. The 12-cup food processor attachment which I got for Christmas which I was over the moon when I opened it and wanted one for years. I then find out that it doesn’t work with my A3500i at all. The A3500i has been getting sold on Amazon UK for years when it will not work on A3500i blenders in UK. There are loads of negative reviews on Amazon UK saying it doesn’t work on A3500i blenders in UK. So you are another dodgy company giving false information which I have got the evidence. I now wouldn’t recommend your products to anybody all because of the false information and incompatible accessories that are not compatible with every A3500i in the world. This A3500i that cost £250 is now worthless because it is not compatible at all. Vitamix should be so ashamed of themselves for telling you lies. 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

Over priced, poor customer service, poor quality materials
I used to think Vitamix was a gold standard of blender, until I had one for a few years. The tamper broke within the first couple of months and the jug broke after a couple of years - both from normal use, no breakages. While they replaced the cheap plastic tamper they did not replace the jug, despite being within their stated warranty on the phone and a few days out of the warranty they sent in their email (a confusing set up to begin with)

I am extremely disappointed with Vitamix. A few months ago (July 2024), I purchased a food processor attachment from Ubuy without knowing it wasn’t compatible with European models. This essential information was nowhere on Vitamix’s website or Ubuy. After days of nonstop searching for what the problem might be, I finally found the answer buried in a thread on Reddit! It was later confirmed by Vitamix that their European bases are incompatible with ANY food processor attachments because they haven’t even created a European-compatible food processor base yet.
Then why are they allowing this product to be sold in Europe? Could they not inform customers of this crucial detail before misleading them into buying an expensive, useless product and paying massive shipping fees to Europe?
When I contacted Vitamix about this issue, they were completely dismissive and unhelpful. Thankfully, Ubuy refunded me for both the product and the expensive shipping costs.
Now, I’m dealing with another issue: I can’t register my Vitamix Ascent Series 225 ml BPA-Free Plastic Blending Bowls and Vitamix Ascent Series 600 ml BPA-Free Plastic Blending Cup because registration is only available for customers in the USA and Canada. This is completely unacceptable!
To make matters worse, when I call the French customer service line, I only get an automatic voice message stating that the French customer service is no longer available. The recording attempts to provide an email address and website for support, but it’s nearly impossible to understand due to poor audio quality, a heavy French accent, and an extremely fast speaking pace. This makes it even harder to get any help or find a solution to my problem.
If Vitamix can’t support their customers in Europe, then they should stop selling their products here. On top of that, they’re selling products that don’t even work (like my food processor). I don’t understand why the European bases are different from the American ones, but Vitamix should prioritize their customers over profit. Selling something useless without informing the buyer is robbery, especially at such high prices!
I have not only wasted money but also a significant amount of time dealing with both of these issues. I have much better ways to spend my money and time. I NEVER thought that a huge, reputable company like Vitamix would end up being such a scam.
Vitamix seriously needs to reconsider their pricing and how they treat their customers. I deeply regret buying from this brand and can no longer recommend them.

I’m beyond frustrated with my new Vitamix Ascent Series blender. After spending up to £700, I expected premium quality and thoughtful design. Instead, I’m left dumbfounded by the complete lack of a narrow pitcher option—something Vitamix offered years ago with the ancient 5200 model.
The wide pitcher that comes with the Ascent is utterly impractical for smaller batches. Making nut butters, sauces, or even single-serving smoothies is a nightmare. How can Vitamix claim to innovate while removing a crucial, basic feature that made their older models so versatile?
This feels like a blatant cash grab. A brand-new, high-end blender that costs this much should offer more functionality than its predecessors, not less. That Vitamix expects loyal customers to buy an outdated model just to get the narrow pitcher is insulting.
Vitamix, do better. If I’m paying top dollar, I expect a product that’s not just powerful but functional for all tasks. Until you fix this glaring issue, I’d warn others to think twice before spending on the Ascent Series

I am deeply dissatisfied with this product. It's marketed as unbreakable and yet mine has started to smoke even when I attempt to make mashed potatoes. It is dangerous and because it is over 2 year warranty.. now 3 years, nobody is getting back to me. I have tried Amazon because I bought this via Amazon and they offered me 30pound compensation. Unacceptable, this product is now electrically unsound and dangerous and Vitamix doesn't answer my emails ..

L'exemple même de la nullité ! En date du 25 juin 2024, j'ai reçu un courrier de la part de Vitamix m'indiquant que les récipients de 225 et 600 ml pouvaient poser problème. Qu'il était nécessaire de s'inscrire via un site internet ou un numéro de téléphone afin d'en savoir plus. Je me suis immédiatement inscrit via le site internet et je n'ai reçu aucune confirmation ! Le 26 juillet 2024, n'ayant toujours aucune nouvelle, j'ai pris contact avec Vitamix par mail signalant que je n'avais toujours aucune nouvelle et demandant si c'était normal ! Le 1er août, j'ai ENFIN reçu une confirmation de mon enregistrement et que mon cas serait traité dans les 4 à 6 semaines !!! Il faut quand même savoir que le kit en question coûte environ 190 € et que vu le prix du matériel Vitamix dans son ensemble, il me semble logique qu'on puisse espérer en jouir normalement. Il me semble dès lors qu'on puisse espérer qu'en cas de problème avec un article, la campagne re remplacement soit RAPIDE ! Là, on en est déjà à plus d'un mois pour simplement apprendre que la demande de remplacement va être prise en compte dans les 4 à 6 semaines ! Le 10 septembre 2024, j'ai reçu un courrier de la poste belge me signalant qu'un colis en provenance d'Angleterre est bloqué en douane et que des frais d'un montant de 22,93 € sont à payer pour les frais de douane. N'ayant fait aucune commande, je fais le rapprochement avec Vitamix et je les contacte. J'ai une réponse me disant que je ne dois rien payer et que le nécessaire va être fait pour débloquer la situation. Depuis lors, j'ai eu des échanges réguliers afin de voir comment les choses allaient évoluer et finalement le 24 septembre, j'ai reçu un mail me disant que mon cas va être traité !!! Vu mon expérience de la qualité du service Vitamix, jusque-là (3 mois sans résultat), j'insiste et je demande un délai précis. Toujours la même personne de contact me garantit une réaction dans les 24 à 48 h. Le 27 septembre, fin de journée ici en Belgique, j'écris pour signaler que je n'ai toujours aucune réponse et que vu la fermeture des bureaux en Europe pour le week-end, je n'aurais certainement plus de suite et que les 48 h seront allégrement dépassées ! Depuis plus de nouvelles, malgré un rappel ce 30 septembre.
Je pense donc pouvoir dire que ma communication avec Vitamix se solde par un zéro pointé et que la personne avec qui j'éi eu les échanges aurait été inexistante, nous en serions exactement au même point. On peut dès lors se demander à quoi cela sert de lui payer un salaire ! A sa décharge, on peut imaginer qu'elle s'est contenté de relayer les informations qui lui étaient transmises, mais manifestement, elle n'a aucun pouvoir de faire évoluer les choses.
Je ne remets pas en cause la qualité de l'appareil Vitamix en soi. Par contre, il est évident qu'au vu du prix du matériel, on pourrait espérer un service après-vente de qualité ce qui est très loin d'être le cas. Cela fait maintenant plus de 3 mois que je possède un accessoire qui ne peut être utilisé. Je ne re commande donc aucunement cette marque qui, une fois votre argent encaissé n'a plus le moindre respect pour vous.

I pulled it apart myself and discovered that they use a Ametek Lamb motor that can be bought for around $100. A 1000% markup on parts might be justifiable if Vitamix stood by their product, but my experience was that they don't.

Absolutely amazing blender!! ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Called multiple times and was on hold for minimum 20 minutes each time until I gave up. Emailed twice, still no response... I called and hit multiple zero's and reached reception and she was nice but she was unable to help. FIRE YOUR REMOTE CUSTOMER SERVICE THEY SUCK!!!

I need a blender blade and called the company. They said they cant sell that but i could buy a new pitcher for $175!! I mentioned ive purchased 3 blenders, a couple of extra pitchers, 2 cups and the blending device, and extra parts over the last 15 yrs from them and could they please give me a customer discount? Best she would do was 10% off and no shipping. Not good. I wrote the company thinking maybe they would understand and appreciate a loyal customer. But no word. So i ordered the blade online from a different company for $35.

Very disappointed! Over 20 years with this company, I recently replaced my whole unit and I have notice the quantity of the container is made very poorly. I spend a lot of money on this blender and they can not repair it. Will be my last one!

Stainless steel 48oz blender top. Razor sharp edges slicing fingers open and had to seek medical help. Very dangerous products being shipped by a company not interested in your well being and quite unsafe. Want to let everyone on every website know.
Very durable and reliable for my uses
Bought my vitamix from costco back in 2010. It is a tank and works just like when it was new. They give you a binder of recipes which is pretty useless, but I just use ones I find on the internet. Makes smoothies way faster than my friend’s machines. You don’t realize how strong it is until you go on vacation and have to use a different blender!

The motor went broke after 2,5 years, it is still on warranty but I am not able to get it. Miss Maria Teresa from the EU side of product assistance told me the assistance would contact me but nothing until now.
The blender is good but for ice and butter it does not last long, I only did a couple of ice creams and it went broken shortly after...

Ordered the whole enchilada.... New Vitamix with the food processor... Dry pitcher....so excited!!!! Only the pitcher showed up.... Hmmm. Contacted customer service who stated my 2 orders were delivered. Well I only got one part. After further investigation..by ME.... my order was returned to their Ohio facility... ???? Why... Who knows but I did not I initiate a return of any kind. The emails said they were sorry for any inconveniences. Ok... So do something about it... Nope... Nothing. I could call Vitamix and order what I had originally purchased, and I could send my pitcher back. Seriously you obviously don't want my business.

Well...here is an update: Finally spoke with someone who could help me. I was able to repurchase at the stae fair price, received everything... and sent back the dry pitcher that I was holding hostage. The Vitamix is amazing.
I bought the top of the line digital…
I bought the top of the line beautiful digital Vitamix accent model. I am an avid smoothie girl now using many ingredients to make many smoothies at a time so I can have for several days. I give smoothies to neighbors and friends. One thing first just a mention to engineering that I love my blender only wish on this model there were not the rubber seal which requires me to clean it each time. I feel
it’s a design flaw worth paying attention to going forward. The other models do not have this. I treat my blender like gold. I really take care of it. Other then the rubber seal my blender was working great for a while then recently I had to send it back due to issues with over heating. I must say Vitamix customer service ROCKS!!! Cheers to all the nice people that I have had the pleasure of speaking with since my purchase you are all fabulous!! Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
I brought my Vitamix blender to
the UPS store where they packaged it up very well and Vitamix sent me a return label. It cost me 12 dollars for the packaging, but I wanted it well protected. Luckily, I had a back up blender, yet in a time frame of approx two weeks Vitamix returned my blender with a new motor, drive socket and jug and they r sending me a lid too because I asked if they could that my old lid was a bit warped to fit well on my new jug. I was so impressed.
I have called on different occasions and I must say everyone I speak with is incredible at the Vitamix family. I am very pleased.
I am really very happy with Vitamix and how they kept me aware of the status of my blender from receiving to telling me it’s coming home as well and sending me a survey during this process.
I want to thank Don who worked on my machine for everything he did. I know he worked hard, and I want to tell Vitamix how grateful I am for everything always being so helpful and nice. Folks, if u want A plus service you should buy a Vitamix. It’s like buying a Rolls Royce of blenders. I kid u not !! I splurged and bought this for myself yep. Vitamix stands by their products.

I have been using Vitamix for many years now, and have always been satisfied with their customer service. My 2L blender bowl broke from wear and tear, as I use it everyday, many times a day. I had put sharp frozen fruit inside, and a piece of fruit had made a hole in the bowl. As it was a present, I didn't have the receipt with me, so I sent an email to the international customer support service, and the response was immediate. They gave me the contact details of the french supplier, and with the warranty, a whole new bowl was sent over to me, free of charge. Thank you Vitamix for your excellent customer service.
