First visit to Wakefields
This was my first visit to Wakefields and I was impressed with the friendly and professional welcome and service. Emma was very generous with her time, as we were seeking advice on several matters, Rolex servicing, watch battery replacements and insurance valuations. We also took some time to discuss current Rolex models. All together a worthwhile visit.
Quality Jeweller Wakefields
Wakefields Jewellers is the only Jeweller I trust. The service is professional. The quality of the staff and their knowledge, combined with their training is first class. They have an extremely smart jewellery shop in Horsham.
Trusting jewellers is so important. Any visit to a jeweller matters. Having the best advice and service is vital. Wakefields provides this.

Not a positive experience
I took a gold necklace to Wakefield’s for a small repair (replacement clasp). At first I thought their service was excellent as they welcomed me in and offered me a cup of coffee whilst they examined my necklace. I was advised that the repair would cost in the region of £40 which I accepted and asked them to proceed. I left the necklace with them and a week later received a call from a different salesperson saying that the cost was £130 and that the other assistant shouldn’t have quoted me £40.
I went to collect the necklace the following day and enquired whether I could sell the old clasp back to them to offset the cost and if so what was it worth. I was quoted (by yet another assistant) that he estimated it to be worth about £40, which seemed reasonable. He then disappeared behind the scenes to weigh the gold and came back with £15 in cash. That in itself felt grubby.
I don’t know much about the value of gold but both initial valuations were significantly under, and whilst I reluctantly accepted both, I came away wondering whether their staff were either massively incompetent or I’d been well and truly ripped off by this smarmy salesperson. It was not a good experience and I won’t be going there again.

Choosing our wedding bands
Choosing our wedding bands turned out to be the most amazing experience, far beyond anything we expected. We walked in not really thinking we would find “the one,” but we were completely blown away by the selection and the quality of the pieces. Everything felt special, unique, and beautifully crafted.
Becky made the whole experience unforgettable. She was incredibly professional, attentive, and genuinely invested in helping us find something perfect. From the moment we arrived, she made us feel welcome and relaxed, offering us champagne and taking the time to ask about our wedding, which made everything feel so personal and meaningful.
Her warmth, knowledge, and attention to detail were exceptional. She went above and beyond in every way, and it truly felt like she cared about our story and our choices. Thanks to Becky, what could have been a simple shopping trip became a really memorable part of our wedding journey.
We couldn’t be happier with our rings or the experience. I’ve already recommended Wakefields, and especially Becky to all my friends. I’ll definitely be making Wakefields my jeweller for future purchases, and I truly hope to work with Becky again. Highly recommend!

From the moment the door was opened for me, I couldn’t have felt more welcome! Willie (as a fellow Scot) and I chatted about our ‘home’. He checked and found that Lucy was free to help me. Without any idea of my budget for my engagement ring, Lucy could not have been more friendly and helpful, picking out a variety of rings for me to try. There was no rush or hard sell, just kindness and good advice. The whole experience was truly amazing! I came back with my partner the next day to pay for my chosen ring, and again we couldn’t have been made to feel more welcome with a glass of bubbly each, and Lucy and Becky helping us. Cannot recommend enough..

He then called me later in the week to explain the outcome and I was able to pick the watch up the following day.
The fact that the reception area has a purpose built bar facility for hot and cold beverages makes it unique in my shopping experience. All members of staff are welcoming and the soft security makes you feel very comfortable. All the staff are highly knowledgeable and enjoy what they do..
