Had a lovely weekend here with family and friends. The caravan was spacious also it was nice and clean! Plenty of things to do as There was a beach nearby, amusements for the kids also a lovely heated swimming pool! We also enjoyed the evening entertainment on the park. The town centre is literally a 10 minute drive so it was close enough to do our shopping etc. the owner was very quick to reply if you had any issues they was sorted asap. thanks for having us at this beautiful place and we hope to see you again soon! (I did leave my firestick remote at the caravan but the owner was very quick to reply and send it back to me!) appreciate that 🙂

It was a pleasure having you all, including the two little dogs 🐶😊 We’ll be more than happy to welcome you back whenever you’re visiting your daughter in Aberystwyth again. Thank you for choosing us and see you next time! ❤️
Very disappointed with our recent stay
Very disappointed with our recent stay as we have previously had good accommodation. Caravan 42 Aber Bay was very worn and in need of general maintenance and deep clean. Oven didn’t work, curtains torn, carpets dirty, general grime and dust, mattress had no padding, freezer box in fridge door broken so all frosted up. No clothes airer, caravan needs thorough inventory, maintenance and cleanliness check. On the positive we did receive very prompt responses to text questions and request for floor clean.

Thank you for your feedback. We always carry out a full deep clean and maintenance check after the busy summer season. During the school holidays, we often have same-day check-outs and check-ins every day, which means we cannot professionally wash the carpets between stays, as they require at least 12 hours to dry. Unfortunately, not every guest respects the accommodation or removes their outdoor shoes, which is beyond our control, although the caravan is vacuumed and cleaned after every stay.
As soon as you contacted us, we immediately sent a cleaner back to clean the floors, and we also offered you a discount on your next stay as a gesture of goodwill. All the maintenance points you raised will be checked and addressed during our scheduled end-of-season inspection.

We really enjoyed our stay at the caravan. Inside the living/kitchen area is quite spacious and the bedrooms comfy. The caravan is clean and well kept. The kitchen has all the essentials if you want to stay in and cook.
We enjoyed taking a cup of tea/coffee on the deck both in the morning and in the evenings.

2night stay in aber
I booked my stay last minute as I needed somewhere to stay for a couple of nights to help my son move out of his halls at aber uni,
Within 5 mins of booking Chris had contacted me to say id booked a 3 bed but no heating ,
Did I want a van with heating at no extra charge ,
I was traveling alone so a 2 bed was perfectly fine and the heating was just a bonus.
I arrived at the van to a newer beautifully clean van .
With parking right in front which was important as second night I had a full car.
The bed for a caravan bed was lovely and comfy ,
Fab Tv
And excellent WiFi.
The decking was screened so nice and private.
I’d been to site before and it really does everything you’d need for a longer stay.
I managed to get some walking in too.
Chris was on hand from start to finish if anything was needed.
But honestly the van had absolutely everything you could want or need.
A real home from home.
My son has another 2 years at aber so I’ll definitely stay again👍
Anyone moving into halls should definitely stay at clarach it’s less than 2 miles to town.
Thanks again Chris

Thank you so much for such a lovely review 😊
I really appreciate you taking the time to write this and I’m so glad the caravan worked out well for your stay while helping your son move out of Aber Uni.
As soon as I saw the original caravan had no heating, I just thought it made more sense to move you into something warmer and more comfortable — especially travelling alone and with the Welsh weather being… unpredictable 😂
Really happy to hear you found the caravan clean, comfortable and well equipped, and that the parking and private decking made things easier too. It’s great that you managed to enjoy a few walks while you were here as well.
Thank you again for being such a lovely guest and you’re always very welcome back anytime over the next couple of years while your son is studying in Aberystwyth 👍
Hopefully see you again soon!

I’m glad you enjoyed the caravan and that the view from the veranda made your stay even more special — that’s exactly what people come here for.
Great to hear everything was clean, cosy and comfortable, and that communication was smooth throughout — that’s always something we try to stay on top of.
You were a pleasure to host and you’re more than welcome back anytime.
Hope to see you again soon!
Hidden gem in Clarach Bay
An amazing stay from start to finish, my million questions before hand were never too much. On arrival everything was perfect with the travel cot already set up, and all the linen set out nicely.
Even tea bags in the chalet which made my night after a long travel up there.
The chalet itself had everything we needed and more, from the USB sockets as we had forgotten one of out plugs, to the smart tv for my eldest to watch his minecraft videos on. The table outside was just right for the kids for stargazing
or relaxing outside as I cooked breakfast.
Have already booked to return in July and can't wait.
Will 100% be reccomending to friends and family.
Will also become a long term customer myself.
Thank you again for making my first holiday back to Clarach Bay in 10 years such a memorable time. Whilst it may have been the first time with my children it definitely won't be the last.
