I paid for non-glare and scratch resistant lenses. They were both slightly scratched within two months. It was another three months before I went back. Replacement denied because “they don’t know what I do with my glasses at home.” “What do you clean them with?” I point to the Zeiss lens wipes I bought there! I also used the spray and microfiber cloth sample they had given me when I received my glasses. “Oh well!” Unbelievable! I had had several pairs of Walmart glasses in past years until my insurance changed. Now with no insurance I returned. These are the worst lenses I’ve had in 30 years and they will not honor their warranty.

Bought lenses and frames for about $250 with a prescription. Within 2 weeks the lenses were beyond scratched up and couldn’t see. Used the insurance to replace. Now a month later they are scratching up again from just using a fiber cloth to clean. Very cheap and poorly made lenses. Looks as I’ll have to go somewhere legit for lenses and hopefully be able to keep the frames. Do not recommend at all!

spent over $200 for glasses I cant use, they are worse than readers on my computer screen which is why I wanted better glasses than just cheap readers. They give me headaches with blurred vision and all Walmart says is I should keep using them and get use to it, what a bunch of crap at Walmart - vision center - South Charleston WV

Walmart treats workers like crap and it be so big and have an oligopoly with Target and just treats their workers like crap

Website asked to verify your prescription either by a photo of the box that you use of contacts or a prescription written designed by a doctor in which I uploaded photos of both and they built the night. Both of them. I was supposed to see my contacts in 4 days. This emailing back and forth with the six different representatives took about 4 days because they did not read either the prescription written by the doctor or looked at the photo of the box of contacts that I already had and then I had to tell them that I wanted to cancel my order and take my business elsewhere twice before they actually read the email that I sent to cancel my order. Horrific experience bad customer service will never use them again

Problem # 1: Vision Center optician at this particular location in RED BANK was doing an eye exam for new glasses and he decided to check my eyes for some potential problem that old people develop (I was in my early 40s). He shot something into my eyeballs which hurt really bad, I had blurred vision and blood in my eyes for a couple months. He also hit me in my face like a jerk, then apologized. Avoid WALMART butchers, they are alleged serial assaults and can't be punished by Walmart management who refuses to do anything about it.

Problem # 2: Vision Center employee of African descent (only to identify the person) in Orangeburg, SC, huge as a giant, with hands that are only good for loading cement bags was asked to repair my eyeglasses. I sat in front of him while he was literally butchering lenses of my expensive glasses ($300). He placed nose pads that were too large and the replacement screws holding them were humongous. What he did the has shocked me. Using a screwdriver he slowly dug into one of my lenses making a deep long scratch on it and continued to making another, smaller one while I protested and he then was done with it. The next day I went to complain the manager of the Vision Center who told me this guy can't be punished since he was hired as part of Affirmative Action and thus offered me a measly $25 compensation out of their own pocket. Stay away from Walmart "optician" butchers. Go get your food and stuff there and get out. I am not a competitor, so I am not advising not shopping at WALMART as that may mean good savings, but stay away from the dangerous WALMART VISION CENTERS.

Had my appointment with the Walmart vision center in Elizabethtown, Kentucky today. Exceptional help from Caren and Brook! They were kind, courteous, and helpful even when I had SUCH a hard time choosing frames! They even helped me save extra money on two sets of glasses! I plan to make them my official “go to” place for all my future optical needs!
