They use marketing companies to cold call elderly vulnerable customers and then use misleading offers to get them to agree to a home visit for loft insulation. Once in the home they use false moisture readings to mis-sell very expensive unnecessary products and 'work' needing done. Happened to my Mam while i was away and unfortunately all work had been done by the time i got back and because she signed for the work to be done immediately 'for her own good', the cancellation waiver for the 14day cooling off period was void. We took our own readings and got a professional 2nd opinion and it was confirmed the products and the work done was not necessary and the readings were completely different to ours. I contacted the company via email and it was denial and badly written responses. We started the charge back process but luckily for them, illness & the stress of it all my Mam wouldnt go into the bank to sort it out, this was at a point were she started her dementia assessment process, she didnt really leave the house and was vulnerable enough to be talked round by someone who seems to have been official and pretty convincing. Once it was pointed out to her the scale of what was done she refused to believe she let it happen, thats when she admitted herself she was becoming a bit confused and vulnerable. Shes over £5000 out of pocket which was part of a savings pot to leave for her Grandkids. I hope at least someone with vulnerable relatives can prevent them from being scammed out of money from companies like this.

Zack and Shaun arrived this morning to install foil in our loft they also treated the timbers and showed us plenty of photos very happy with the work would recommend the lads and the company thankyou.

Once the work was completed they provided clear pictures and clear videos of the space .
They tidied and ensured all was safe and clean.
Joe went through the remaining paperwork to be signed and then their office called to complete the final transaction .
Only when they both were satisfied that we were happy with their service did they say goodbye .
They are a credit to themselves and to the company Warmer Solutions
Even helping with a delivery that came to the door as they were leaving these guys went above and beyond .

Zack and Shaun came today to finish the masonry creme of my home. Warmer solutions also have installed foil in my loft and both jobs where done to a very grate standard thank you very much would highly recommend.

Pressure selling trying to book work in for following day, to bypass the 14 day cancellation policy, took a £1400 took deposit from her at the door which I have asked to be refunded but havent received yet. Luckily I stepped in. I don’t know how they sleep at night absolute con artists!

Awful company that prey on the elderly. Tried to con my 80 year old father into paying 8,000 to insulate a loft in a small bungalow! Pressure selling trying to book work in for following my day, took 2k deposit from him at the door which I managed to get refunded. Luckily I stepped in. I also requested them to remove his number, two months later and they are at it again 3 calls this week. I am reporting them to trading standards hope that helps other people. I don’t know how they sleep at night absolute con artists.

Zack and Shaun came today and removed the old fiberglass from my loft and installed new eco friendly rock wall. They also installed foil and done an amazing job looks good too. Thankyou

Just like a lot of the ‘real’ reviews my mum, who has had dementia for nearly 10 years, was accosted by this company. Cold called her, I’m sure checked she was on her own like most of the comments state, then Edward Jarvis came and spent 2 & a half hours with her, got her to sign a competency form, when you can tell after 5 minutes with her she has dementia. He took £700 from her account which we cannot get back, but they were going to charge £3500 for some work which was absolutely nothing and apparently took 4.5 hours!! Please please keep an eye out for this company. They are complete scam artists but there is nothing the police can do as they’re are up as a ‘real’ company. He even got her to sign a competency form stating she understood everhting, the waived the 15 day cooling off period (obviously because family would have found out and stopped it). They’re just disgusting people and I really hope Trading Standards get them as they have been reported. Absolute con artists who even tried to justify it saying ‘just because they’re over 70 doesn’t mean they don’t know what they’re doing’! True, but you spent 2.5 hours with her, you would of known. Disgusting people.

My 80 yr old mum has had yet another call off Warmer Solutions. I've asked them at least 4 times to delete her off their list!
They ring when I'm at work (occasionally I'm working from home so can intercept the calls).
They've took money once (to my knowledge) and still keep trying. This company needs investigating. Not all older people will have someone to look out for them. Disgraceful company.

Absolutely shocked and disgusted that your sales person pressured my elderly mother in law to pay £1,000 for damp insulation and used my children as a reason that it needed done asap. Saying if she paid the deposit today of £1,000 she would get a reduced rate! Trying to get the money back!
Shame on you for preying on the vulnerable . Karma will come
