Dear Washington post,

Quit pretending that you are for Democracy.

What a letdown you have proven to be.

REFUSING TO AIR THE AD FROM COMMON CAUSE, THAT CALLS FOR ELON MUSK TO BE FIRED.

You might as well announce that you are a supporter of fascism.

Trump and Musk would sure like to hear that.

I no longer have any respect for the Washington Post..

I was once a subscriber but let my subscription run out. Really disappointed with Bezos overruling the editorial board and not endorsing Harris in the last presidential election. Democracy dies in darkness indeed .. too bad he doesn't heed his own words!

This new site is very biased and lies alot I would not listen to a single thing they say!

I had been a subscriber to the Washington Post for many years, until yesterday.
I liked the fact that it has a readers Comments section for almost every article, and I would read the comments, often adding my own, and replying to others.
But for reasons known only to itself, it changed the format, which made it impossible to add my own, or reply to other readers’ comments.
It also has 4 gray boxes underneath each reader’s comments, to tick to show what you think of the comments.
Unfortunately, none of the boxes included “rubbish”, “you don’t know what you’re talking about”, “like”, “excellent”, or even just “disagree”.

Whichever, they have made a mess of it, and I no longer enjoy the Comments section.
It’s easy to see that the Washington Post has had a change in direction, towards children and MAGAs.
As I am neither, and have joined the many others, also saying they are leaving because of the change.
I canceled my membership renewal yesterday.

A photo of aftermath of Jan 6 coup attempt displayed a few water bottles that needed picked up. False reporting? Reading another view today and president Biden is addressed as Mr. The post is no longer a trusted source of news, nor does it give our country the respect it deserves.

Hopeless newspaper for extreme leftists. Out of touch with real Americans.

New ownership is not taking a stand, changing how the Washington Post has been historically. We don't want a fascism!

Will not take a stand on a presidential election because they’re afraid of repercussions. I will never use them again. I thought they were a good source of trusted information. As I can see from other reviews, I was wrong.

I just cancelled my subscrition. Democracy does indeed die in darkness. Jeff Bezos is now part of the death spiral we are currently witness to. Killing the Post's endorsement of Hartis to curry favor with a potential dictator for a few more dollars in his already bulging pockets from future government contrats for Blue Origin is one of the nails hammered in its coffin. Shame!

This newspapers with lot of history is drowning for people without b**** to stand for democracy!!!!! the same thing the newspapers in venezuela did when Chavez was running his presidential campaign now those newspapers don't exist he close them.

Bezos be damned!!!! I (for some unknown reason expected better than that) fit for tat???The non-endorsement came out in the morning. Trump had his people meeting with Blue Origins that afternoon. Shame! Bezos doesn’t deserve to have anything to do with the Washington post!

Lies and misinformation. Not real news. Propaganda to make Bezos richer. Untrustworthy and disrespectful to the American public.

It's unbelievable that right now, in this most important US election in decades, the great Washington Post is driving its reputation to the ground like this.
What about the days of courageous journalism à la Watergate? Is cowardice all that's left?
Really embarrassing. And sad.
